I'd stare into your eyes with a dreamy look for a second, then say "Oh I'm sorry I thought you were hitting on me" and continue on to ravage your woman. I'm sure you're generally a nice person but that move is just being a passive-aggressive asshole.

What are seddit's thoughts on "We should make out."?

'I used to be gay now I'm trying this whole straight thing everyone raves about. Is it alright though if we just stick with anal to start off, and we can ease into conventional sex?'

No. Way. Chicks get off on you totally stumping them. If you've ever done it in person (and it's not in a way that embarrasses them publicly) you can see the smile emanate across their face as they playfully punch your tummy with an 'oh shut up.' Text is no different. Just because you cant see them react doesn't mean they're not on the other end of the phone melting over your genius. As long as it's not nasty, there's no better way of DHVing than a witty retort.

Hahaha you've obviously never been me.

I agree for sure looks are definitely a bonus, but I know it's more than just a little less value. The ugliest millionaire will get way more attention than the most attractive bum. (hobo to use the American term, we call them bums in Australia).

Clifton is right man, even if he is a little rough in saying it. Attraction is a completely different process for guys and girls. Girls are instinctively attracted to someone who can protect and provide for them. This holds much more weight than their looks. Guys don't need protection. They need someone with the healthiest, and subsequently most attractive genes to continue their seed.

Can't find the thread, but the upvote/downvote counter is wrong. It changes all the time, you'll see if you refresh the page. Something about stopping spammers.

I agree I don't quite get what he means by chemistry. Otherwise good read.

Awesome stuff. What do answer to the question "why are you reading in a bar?"

And if I saw you on the street, depending on the street, you'd definitely be in the top three good looking girls on the street... Depending on the street.

How would you recommend going about a situation like that? I agree I hate disagreeing and doing the whole 'you're so not fat', but I find I always end up just calling them fat (or whatever else) by attrition.

I used the word 'open' in the wrong sense I think. What I meant was try to make the most friends, and build social proof. If a few people don't bite, no biggie.

Point is not to let it bother you though. The aim is not to get shot down the least, it is to open the most.

And run off cackling into the night.

You only get shut down if you do it majorly wrong. And even then who cares? It'll work the next time when you're better at it.

If you're in a bar, 'How is your night going?' Open ended, indicates interest, allows for kino as you smile and say 'That's good to hear! My name is cocksandwich.'

You've named your deal, silly. You know exactly what the problem is, this isn't something that can be fixed any other way than doing it. There's not some technique that will make you any more likely to call them. Just call them. Do it now.

You've taken the first step by recognising it. It takes 30 days to break a habit, keep at it. After you look away, take a few seconds, look back, and flash a playful smile.

Agreed. That doesn't mean its not too late to start though.

Exactly, it's a good thing if they are looking to you, but its not something you can change by checking it. If anything it will ruin what you have going. Good confidence booster if you notice it though.

I agree that it correlates with my experiences, but its not helpful. Especially to people who are just starting out and need encouragement. All it says is 'You know that time you were feeling good? Yeah, you actually sucked. You're not even remotely ok until you're as good as I am now, at the "end" of the journey, like you know, I am now. Did I mention how good I am now, and how much you probably still suck?'

Good that you did it, but I think it's the harder way to go about it. Lifting releases endorphins that make it hard not to feel like a champion. Accepting your body is like trying to stay awake without caffeine. It's doable, but it would be easier to just drink a coffee.

You miss the point. If you're already that smooth you don't need it just move along. This is for us guys that have trouble doing it even if we know we should. You have to learn to thrust before you learn to fuck.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
