This is true. However, this pill is either found by those seeking and ready for the truth who then are able to expand their outlook accordingly, or stumbled upon by those unready who are unable to process the information, rendering the effects of the pill moot/inert. In other words, simply taking the pill does nothing when the appropriate psychological reagent is not present for it to react with.

Psychedelics are drugs which alter your perception of a world that you thought you knew. This subreddit's namesake is a metaphor for a drug which has a similar effect. Perhaps he was leading toward this, particularly because of his last question " Or do you believe all drugs have potential for mind control and should be avoided?"

"Her reasoning was that she had sex so much because she was trying to get me to commit to her and now that she has me she no longer needed to behave that way." FFS, she actually said this straight to your face? In other words "I thought I was permanently entitled to your resources since I let you fuck me a few times". Let this be a fine example of why the phrase AWALT is thrown around so judiciously on this forum. Good on you for cutting the whole thing loose.

Thank you for making a post clearly outlining this phenomenon. I'll jump on the corroboration train and confess that the emotional breakup type is exactly what happened in my last LTR (of 4+ years). It went on for at least a year that I am aware of. In fact, every single detail that you listed applied in my situation. I had figured most of this out since then, but TRP has been here to fill in the gaps and bring a resolute understanding to the whole mess. I wish that I had encountered all of this…

"You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And some of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it." Still, it never ceases to amaze me that so many people fight so hard to retain their cultural conditioning when the truth of it is held out right in front of their eyes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
