Spend idle time to work out who you are and what you wantI have no purpose, I'm just floating through life. | /r/TheRedPill | 21/12/20 07:18 PM
First date sober. Learn from my mistake.People don't always necessarily drink because they don't love themselves but rather that they don't love themselves enough. | /r/TheRedPill | 27/09/17 03:47 PM
First date sober. Learn from my mistake.Well look at it this way man, if you don't do it NOW it will keep getting harder and harder. The more your dependence on the drug of alcohol will increase meaning that once you finally decided to face your fears you'll have a bigger hole to climb out of. Your focusing too much on the girls perceived perception of yourself and not your own perception of yourself. How will you feel about yourself if you go on the next date with a girl and medicate your feelings of inadequacy with alcohol? Pretty s… | /r/TheRedPill | 26/09/17 09:06 PM
First date sober. Learn from my mistake.Hey man, all power to you. I quit 2 months ago, the quality and richness of my life is improving dramatically. I went on a date with a beautiful girl who drinks and I straight out told her that i don't drink with conviction and no speck of self doubt. She said, 'I think that's bold, I like that, it's quite refreshing that you don't drink, don't use social media, don't text much'. Just a bit of field report to give some courage. | /r/TheRedPill | 26/09/17 09:03 PM
First date sober. Learn from my mistake.Alcohol is a poison, so drinking you are purposely harming yourself for a short term illusory gain. The wider implications of this is that you don't truly love yourself, know how to love yourself properly or you are simply afraid of being socially outcasted. Either way it is not conducive to being the best version of yourself. Once you realise alcohol actually does nothing for you that you can't achieve otherwise you'll see it for the redundant waste of money that it is. | /r/TheRedPill | 26/09/17 08:58 PM
Alcohol messed up my game and I've decided to stopIf you care about giving explanations then you've already lost. You need to put yourself first and if you think that you should ingest any alcohol for the sake of appearing more socially aligned then my friend you have your priorities wrong. I wear my teetotalness like a badge of honour, if ever questioned about it and the person questions my decision in a critical way I'm already gone to the next person. Don't deal with narrow mindedness. | /r/TheRedPill | 25/09/17 02:35 PM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meHey man - just got back from the date with her. Let's just say it was an experience..I got there early and nearly bailed because the place I went to was VERY VERY busy and this scared the shit out of me. But I looked in the mirror and said if I bail I'd hate myself so throw at me whatever you will. Went upstairs and she arrived made sure to give her a kiss on the cheek. We relocated outside and EVERYONE was looking at us, it was quite bizarre and offputting. But I persevered and had a conversati… | /r/TheRedPill | 24/09/17 01:58 PM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meSo I'm meeting her tomorrow for a coffee. Today I realised that I have to ramp up my state in order to 'be strong' around her tomorrow. I decided to do something a bit different because I am already anticipating feeling a bit awkward out in public with her (i know it shouldn't be such). I went for a 30 minute brisk walk and as I did everyone who walked past me I told myself I would tell them 'whatever came into my head' (within reason). I did this and I got some understandable bewildered respons… | /r/TheRedPill | 23/09/17 01:58 PM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meHi AuWap - my mental state is not new to me but I had grown to live with it and tried to cope in my own way; your typical mind numbing and escapist routes. I have always been against taking drugs to 'fix' a brain problem for the very reasons you mentioned above. Instead I employed pretty vain attempts at improving my lifestyle to no avail. I did truffles recreationally and they made me realise that my world had become very dark, jaded, predictable and full of horrors. I was once again able to se… | /r/TheRedPill | 23/09/17 10:12 AM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meI will be booking a doctors appointment beginning next week. Cheers guys. | /r/TheRedPill | 23/09/17 06:33 AM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meI hope you find a way to improve your symptoms. I have been militant in cutting out anything I can control. This leaves the uncontrollable like obsessive thinking, catastrophic thinking, the racing thoughts, the sleep paralysis and anxiety dreams where I wake up breathless. I just keep going on living as healthily as possible praying that they will lessen in severity. The point of my post wasn't merely to focus on getting hit on by a hot woman although it was the centrepiece but rather to expres… | /r/TheRedPill | 23/09/17 06:33 AM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meI am meeting her tomorrow for a coffee. I've fully braced myself that I she could find me unattractive when she sees how uncalibrated I am. But I am going to use it as a learning experience and I have nothing to lose. I am just grateful for the exposure and ready to be more vulnerable and expressive even if this results in rejection because I want to express myself 100%. Years of subduing my emotions has made me unaware of how I truly feel, the feeling of dread and worry has become the overridin… | /r/TheRedPill | 23/09/17 06:25 AM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meZiphas - I will do man, I'm going to methodically go through the side bar today. Even though I read things a lot they seem to never really stick in my head in the moment because I have such a weak frame and weak grounding. But thank you for your input, really helpful. | /r/TheRedPill | 23/09/17 06:14 AM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meYou see that's what I find hard to pinpoint. Everyone has a voice in their head to a certain extent. The voice in my head is like a delinquent child that is often a tormentor as well. It never makes me do things. But it will often think terrible things at times where I need composure. It will put me down and make me feel worthless. I often see crude things out of the corner of my eye but when I turn to look at it realise its just an inanimate object. Maybe I should talk to someone.. | /r/TheRedPill | 22/09/17 07:20 PM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meAfter re-reading my post you are right I guess I was subconsciously defensive about putting her a pedestal because that's exactly what i'm doing. | /r/TheRedPill | 22/09/17 06:06 PM
I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meThank you for your advice. I will definitely use it. I know I need to adopt a more abundant mentality. I've always had this oneitis feeling from a very young age. It makes dating incredibly painful. Probably why I just stopped for several years after my last ex. My confidence is just so up and down. | /r/TheRedPill | 22/09/17 06:03 PM

I forced myself to go out, despite the demons in my head yelling at meI definitely lack the fundamentals of TRP I try and integrate it where I can instead of fully embodying it. Thank you for your response. It's taken me a long time to get to this stage where I am able to express myself and open up a bit so you can imagine how bad I was at one point. | /r/TheRedPill | 22/09/17 06:00 PM
