| 3 | Dinner on a First Date: Am I the only guy that considers them an awkward waste of time?In my youth and inexperience I took a girl I really liked out to dinner on the first date and boy do I regret it, essentially because of all the reasons you listed. Things didn't work out with the girl after the date and she was a girl that I really wanted things to work out with, so I was kicking myself afterwards.
