I, myself, tend to be somewhat detached. I like to think it is a mix between the two, because feeling emotions can be fun. Also, it’s hard to interact with others with your perspective

By manipulating others by faking it I assume? I can see how you would come to that conclusion as someone who doesn’t understand the inherent benefit of feeling the emotions themselves

In your way of thinking sure. But we don’t even really know how reality works tbh. And you shouldn’t be surprised you don’t get anywhere with anyone whenever you shut out people’s emotions like that
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 07:41 PM

It really isn’t. A starving man isn’t going to come to you for food. You don’t have food. You have paper. A starving man is going to go to a person who provides food. A need. Employers don’t provide needs, they provide currency, a middleman. Also, the way you acted surprised that the other person hasn’t been an employer says a lot about you. Most people don’t own businesses. It’s weird that you think that

Don’t get me wrong. I’ve had many crazy ex-partners. I just finally found the right one

No, that you live in an objective reality and other live in a more emotional one
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 07:30 PM

And there we have the crux of the issue
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 05:52 PM

No, you were a source of income
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 05:49 PM

Just being the one who said yes doesn’t make someone feel special. It’s desperate
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 05:47 PM

Just find a non-toxic person? My wife isn’t toxic. You just pick bad people

I know, I was just having some fun towards the end. They’ll likely never respond again

That is, again, an opinion. There is no wrong or right opinion. Just opinions.

We all have our opinions my dude

You know, the more I’ve grown and experienced, the more I think this isn’t wholly true. Could you’ve convinced my younger self, young and eager on the fire department before I saw my first body, of that? Probably. I enjoyed carrying that burden for others. But as time goes on and I’ve kept doing that, long after my first responder years, I think some of us just are programmed that way. Like a species survival system. I don’t think anything negative would’ve happened to you externally if you didn…

I just don’t think we should celebrate that persons gender over the rest. It takes away from the near god-like character they have.

Not that I think gender should come into play when discussing prime examples of human empathy like people who die trying to rescue others, but did you know that women make up about 70% of people that die during disaster situations?

Well alright. I don’t know what’s so funny, but apparently you’re handicapped

Why is that funny? Do heroes that aren’t male not deserve praise?
/r/MensRights28/05/23 03:42 AM

Or just heroes in general. Weird thing to gender

Some of the most stable people I know have neck tattoos. It’s a matter of style choice, not personality.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
