First things first.. make sure this is really something you truly love as it will consume your life... and money. To the point of no return. -For me.. step 1. Did a class 1 medical to see if I was physically able for it. I hold a European EASA license, you can choose to go modular (part time as I did) or integrated (full time). I was in the jump seat for my first two days. That was 4 months ago. As autopilot and FMC functionality are fairly basic on the standard games. Also the feel and handling is never quite the same.
