But any paragraph with “then he’s not a real man” in it doesn’t deserve to be taken seriously. I could have definitely been more specific in saying that, in this instance he wasn't behaving as a real man should. That doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't act like a man overall. One good deed doesn't absolve a heart nor does one evil corrupt one. Real men and real women make mistakes They most certainly do; and I would hope both parties have learned from this event.

Ouch. It is telling that you interpreted what I said as a negative thing to a point where you are trying to justify the action. Justifiable or reasonable doesn't mean it's inherently right to do it. If someone acts like an animal, you don't have to respond like an animal. But there isn't anything "wrong" with it. It's just primal behaviour.
