I disagree. Timing is everything. OP is reading between lines.

Got it. And yeah I did that same shit in my marriage. The BP me thought it was the way to fix it and instead I just made myself more pathetic each time.

Elaborate on this some more. What exactly did you do towards the end to ruin it?

Love this post. I would also encourage everyone to take this concept with them to their workplace. I know there are many posts about holding frame in many areas of your life and so it’s important to reiterate. Your workplace/business is one of the most important areas.

Brother, your friend let you do the heavy lifting for him and then swooped in to get the kill. Your friend can find his own girls on his own. You don’t need to hook anyone up but yourself. He can be his own man and find his own girls. From now on, first dates need to be one on one, for many reasons including your experience.

Agree with giving her way more value than she’s worth. That only helps enable attention whores. But, when I’m on a first date it’s one on one. I don’t want her friends coming and I don’t want any of mine coming. Too many possibilities for distractions or cock blocks. I’d recommend OP not do that again. And his friend isn’t a friend, just someone weasling his way in. Also, the fact that OP’s getting free drinks from people feeling bad for him also equates to other women saw what transpired and th…

Couldn’t agree more. In societies across the world this has proven to be recipe for marriage success. Unfortunately, in Western and 1st world countries it is no longer the norm. Women in their 30s are jaded and extremely difficult to be with long-term. There are some good ones out there in the 30s, but, on average your single 30 year old female is single for a good reason.

There are no unicorns. You’re absolutely right. They’ll act as if they are but they can’t keep that act up for ever. Sooner or later (sooner) the real her is exposed and once you accept that the unicorn act of hers ain’t ever coming back.

Women lie about their n count. They only count relationships and somewhat boyfriends. Anyone they one-nighted or used as a booty call / side-dude doesn’t get added into their count. They know they’re viewed as less attractive after so many dicks have been in them. That’s why most lie about it. I’ve had female friends (who I’m not attracted to - thus no sex) straight up TRY to lie to me even when I knew better. They can’t help it. One last thing, when you ask a girl “how long have you been single…

To these women hating on her, she’s a goddess. To us, just another pretty face, nothing to sweat over. Jealous women tend to overestimate others this their attempts to bring them down.

Couldn’t disagree more. It’s about valuing yourself over women who will ultimately try to devalue you. It’s ultimately about self-respect and not needing anyone to make you feel valid.

“They’re being replaced by 18 year olds everyday. And they hate it.” Love this. It’s true for women. But, it’s not true for men. Women don’t give two fucks about age, they want a man. They’re jealous because their looks fade and can’t compete with younger, prettier, and possibly not shittier attitudes.

It sounds nice but I’ve seen more than my fair share of couples who have gone that same route and ended up in the same place with the guy being divorce-raped. If you want to get married, ideally because you want a family, then it’s best to follow the way you described. If you’re not interested in starting a family then I really don’t see the point of getting married.

I feel your pain and don’t feel bad about your rant. If anything , this is one of the few places in life that a man can come to and express their regret with a past decision that has a major impact on your life because of a female. I went through nearly the same thing (minus the investment part). I lost everything. The money we had saved (not much) I could have spent my portion on it through legal fees just trying to get my half. We didn’t have many other assets. I was ordered by the court that …
