Yeah, I agree most cultures seem to put it on the male, so the biological influence. I dunno, I'm an engineer! So what do I know about biology, or women? 😆 Right though - regarding your 70 women to 30 guys scenario - this sounds really morbid but I wonder what this dynamic was like pre WWII. I mean, they were down to defending Berlin with old men, women and children... I don't exactly know what percentage of young, unmarried men came home, but I wonder if that created a somewhat similar scenario…

Mmm... One of my best friends (an American like me) has been living in Germany for 6-7 years now and he told me that there the tables are turned. The women are a lot more aggressive in the sense that it's understood they approach, and they do. He says he much more often sees women approaching strange men than the other way around. I appreciate the encouragement, really. I don't have too much of an issue if I'm waiting for something next to her and she isn't closed off, which is pretty easy to tell if she is. It helps if something is going on to comment on that isn't part of or hanging off her body, but I have commented on shoes or something similarly innocuous. Yo, other people have solid posts here so I'll just add that I was slightly older than you when I had my first relationship. And it wasn't for lack of trying. Some of us are just late bloomers. Meaning, we're slow, haha. A lot has to come together if one doesn't drop in your lap. After my first ended it took a while to find another. After that ended it took less time to find another.
