They are mean and stupid for acting towards you like that, especially because not having financial security isn't probably your fault. You are probably young, judging by the fact that you will be conscripted. And at an age where the only way to have financial security is by having support from parents.

I agree. It's an archaic practice, often presented with odd arguments like% being made more hygienic ? Ah ?.. If that part of me is visibly dirty, then I will smell and my whole body hasn't also had a shower for so much time that I will not be getting intimate with someone.

I agree with your statement. I was thinking more narrowly specifically about the right to vote and be eligible to run for office, become a judge etc.

Because historically (and still in some parts of the world) men had the upper hand in regards to law, like who can be elected and vote, and were paid higher salaries, while women weren't able to raise as high careerwise. This has changed. But people haven't noticed.
