I used to frequent this sub years ago then stopped when I stopped going to reddit. The way it looks to an outsider: I see many many anti-feminist comments here nowadays. There needs to be no association between men's rights and anti-feminism. Those two do not go hand in hand. The perpetuators of most violence and crimes against men are other men. It's not for two reasons: feminists are incapable of banning - they don't have the authority to under any legislation (that's the commenters whole point). Secondly: I don't know any feminists with a problem against this movie at all. Only what I consider extreme fringe feminists who did that online change.org petition. Yes many who don't want to hear an alternative are protesting against it - but that is not the same as "banning". Thats just an inflammatory term designed to misinform.

The law is specifically about genitalia exposure. The outter parts of a woman's pubic region is not considered genetalia. So they only get ticket for sitting there doing an internet style spread.

As sad as that is it's also pathetic to bring up gender as a factor at all. I don't think this is sexist one way or the other and the post is largely irrelevant. Children were killed. "Boys" we're not specifically targeted. Pakistanis society pressures girls into not partaking in military school so there weren't many girls there. That's all. Sex is wholly irrelevant int the reporting of this incident.

Be honest. Although there are many aspects of current western society where the men need to start fighting for a more equal treatment, there is still many areas where women are far from being treated equally and politics is still one of those. I come here for equality. All around.
