It doesn't matter what level they're at. For them this basically equivalent, because those Thai women were not world cup level players. Not even close. The first few goals, sure, celebrate. After that no. the Thai women were panting by the end of the game, they had completely given up. And the US had such poor sportsmanship it hurt to watch.

No, it's not. Because they've already scored 12. And the opposing team has scored 0. NONE. NIL. That shows a MASSIVE skill difference. If I were to wrestle a 12 year old and win, I wouldn't cheer and celebrate. That's what is basically happening here.

You realize the point about Usain or Phelps doesn't count? In a race like theirs there are steps between the best and worst. In a game between 2 teams it's winner and loser. There is no 2nd place. There may be in the end, but THAT GAME, the game that matters, the us team were unnecessarily celebrating.

Everything you just said was wrong. This is a WORLD CUP level game, and the American team were being cunts. If they were 5-5 and celebrated every goal, and went crazy when they got the 6th for the win, that's acceptable. But when it's 13-0, why the fuck are you acting like the goal is a wildly amazing thing? It's obviously not, because you've already got 12 and they don't have a single one...
