As somebody that works in the Emergency Response field.. This is stupid. I missed the part where he had a gun to her head and made her say yes. Sure, she felt guilty because she'd been depressed and they hadn't had sex for months, but she still could have said "No, I'm so sorry." Honestly telling him he was wrong isn't helping. I mean who would really act any different than him if this happened. Perhaps a lawyer that knew better, but that's it. Hell I'd go up to anybody and confront them if they falsely accused of anything. I'd try and get in contact w/ them and sort it out personally. It's just human instinct imo. I applaud you, but I have to ask. How long did it take to actual receive custody? Or did you receive custody? How much did it cost you to jump through all these legal hurdles? You mentioned police & government workers, were you ever arrested for BS reasons but still had to pay bail? Those are just some of the main obstacle that are stopping a lot of Fathers

Exactly this! In my household growing up, my Father worked well over 40hrs a week just to make ends meet, not including overtime. My Mother also worked, but only about 30 some odd hours a week since she was a teacher. Of course my Mother had more time to spend with me & my siblings, but if my Dad had cut back his hours to the same amount that my Mother worked, we would have been out of a house

Regardless, there is a bias just by having a wide-spread idea that "Men suck as single-fathers". I dislike that I'm being lumped into this category w/o being asked. Exactly. The body responds to stimuli, even if you're conscious mind is screaming against it. Women can have orgasms when raped, and that's not because they wanted it or enjoyed it, it's because their body responded to intercourse like it's programed to do. Same exact concept for men

I'm there with you. Women should be punished harsher because of the seriousness of this entire issue. A man can get 10yrs for one count of rape; a woman didn't even get 2yrs for 11 false counts of rape. Think of both the damage to the system & the possible collateral damage to all of these men.
