I personally never stop asking a girl out until she explicitly says "No, fuck off". Doesn't mean I constantly do it, or that I stop talking to other girls while doing so. In regards to stop doing loser stuff, like videogames and such, sometimes you love these things (anime, books, videogames, TV) to the point where they define who you are, so you really shouldn't change to be something you don't want to be.
