Yeah I wouldn't want to be with a guy that catcalls girls. It's just juvenile.
/r/seduction28/07/16 09:07 PM

Yeah, it's very distasteful. I hate being catcalled. My husband was very awkward when we met, but he was sincere and sweet. He thought I was out of his league at first, too. Some mutual friends tricked us into a double date and that was it, I was hooked :)

This is going to make me sound kind of conceited, but meh. I was a Hermione growing up, awkward and nerdy. All of a sudden, in my late teens, I blossomed and got really pretty. I had boobs and hips and all of a sudden my guy friends were weird with me. I was actually really lonely because I was smart and pretty and most guys were too intimidated to ask me out. I found out years after high school that a lot of my guy friends were interested in me, but were too scared to approach me. It's comforti…

Haha! I say hubby a lot. I hope you're having a great week :)

Oh it's not something I do intentionally. I just occasionally see him in public or he'll comment on a mutual friend's Facebook page and I wonder. When I was pregnant, I had extremely vivid dreams and hubby and I were having a hard time for a bit and I'd dream about the ex. I don't seek him out or anything, he just pops up into my psyche from time to time. Everyone else I've ever dated I knew I wouldn't work out with. This one guy is different. If I rated my compatibility with my husband out of 1…

Umm if it's a K-9, it can't be that bad!!! I have an ex that is my "one who got away". I have had dreams about my life with him. Don't get me wrong, I love my husband. It's just that my ex has this...magnetism that I've never experienced with anyone else. Also, in another universe I'm married to Bill Nye and it's awesome. Nerdy white dudes are my jam.
/r/seduction26/07/16 07:16 PM

I often wonder what I'm doing in alternate universes. It's a fun thought exercise :)
/r/seduction25/07/16 10:55 PM

Sorry, I have my own science nerd :) There are a decent amount of cute nerd girls out there who love guys like you. I hope you find the Amy to your Rory!
/r/seduction25/07/16 08:51 PM

What? "The world isn't going to wait for you?" Wtf does that even mean? I'm not saying girls should or even do automatically say no. I'm just saying, if she's choosing to say no it's generally safer and easier to lie than tell the truth. Fyi, I'm married and have 2 kids. I just comment here to help guys understand the women's perspective. Most of the men in this sub are just good guys who don't know what they're doing. I recognize that.

They're entitled, usually.
/r/seduction22/07/16 05:48 PM

I don't think you have any idea what it's like for women. Brock Turner looks like a normal, nice guy. Most of the men capable of hurting me look normal. There are enough wolves in sheeps clothes for women to be scared enough to initially expect every man to be a wolf. That is, ya know, if we don't want to be raped or murdered. I've only been truly scared of a man twice. One was an overweight, short chef who was nice and funny at first. The other was a skinny, nerdy white dude with glasses who I'…
/r/seduction22/07/16 04:03 PM

I don't think that's it. If I told a guy I wasn't interested, a lot of them would keep pushing. If I lied and said I had a boyfriend (I wouldn't have one around) nearly every dude would stop. They might make one more comment like, "Let me know when it's over." Or something, but they wouldn't push me. I've met a lot of guys who have difficulty seeing women as individuals. This is not on a conscious level, mind you. I know guys who are reasonably attractive or whatever who simply cannot understand…

No problem! My old boss would write paragraphs and paragraphs to women on dating sites. I started proofreading his messages before he sent them and would delete 75% of it because he was too verbose and came on too strong. Showing enthusiasm is fine, but you just have to keep it reasonable. If you can get down some brevity and wit, I think you'll be good :)
/r/seduction22/07/16 03:47 PM

I wasn't suggesting you were objectifying women. I was saying that women get asked a lot of superficial questions that underrate our intelligence a lot of the time. I think you could probably do well with something like "I'm really fascinated by psychology and how the mind works. Tell me about something that interests or fascinates you." By letting her pick the subject, you learn something new about her and she gets to feel like you're actually interested in what she thinks and enjoys. She can a…

That's totally understandable. I'm glad you appreciate the advice :) Cons are fun for the celebrity panels and shopping BTW. I find really unique art and other items at cons that I would never come across otherwise. I'm also into cosplay, though so there's that.

This is great advice. Women absolutely do this and it's important for guys to show a little vulnerability in turn.

Just be genuine and keep trying. You'll eventually meet a girl that works for you. Also, most straight girls experiment with other girls at some point. It's a shame that there's such a stigma when guys do it. It sounds like you know you want girls, I wouldn't sweat your experimentation.

Congratulations! Only advice is to try not to get too attached to Sara. Long distance nearly never works.
/r/seduction21/07/16 11:38 PM

There is no 100% guaranteed thing girls like sexually. My sister LOVES to receive oral, I hate it. My friend HATES to give blowjobs, I love it. Some girls hate doggy, I don't mind it. Some girls want you to dominate them, some girls only want to make love, some girls like variety. The key is to pay attention to how she's responding. If you're unsure whether she likes something, just ask. Talk about sex outside the bedroom and ask her what her perfect sexual experience looks like. You see contrad…

That's awesome! Pokémon Go has been a really interesting societal phenomenon. Nerdy jokes and references work on me, but not every girl. I feel like it helps weed out the girls who wouldn't be a good match for you anyway ;)

Yeah it honestly probably has nothing to do with you. With random guys I would always lie and say I had a boyfriend when I was single if we didn't click right away. I'd wear an engagement ring to work after a client said something especially vile to me. Most guys are nice and it's unnecessary to do those things, but it's the scary minority who will not take no for an answer that make girls behave that way. So often the rapists are wolves in sheeps clothes and an unfortunate byproduct of that is …

I think you probably ought to let this one go and move on. This girl doesn't sound that grear. Learn from the mistakes. Keep a clean shirt in the car on date day that you can change into if you get sweaty. Oil blotting sheets are great for your face, even if it's technically a girl product. For awkward silences, I generally just point out the awkwardness, laugh, and move on to current events/a mutual interest.

K. So there is a subset of girls who are into nerdy guys. I think it's something you should include in your dating profile a little bit. I mean, it should be mentioned but not the focus. Do you read? Have any hobbies outside of gaming? That makes you more attractive. Do you have female friends/close relatives? Ask them to take/review some pictures of you. Preferably your pictures would be out and about and/or with other people. Oh and do you have cons near you? My local comic con has speed datin…

So, if you're "romantic" like Ted from HIMYM, pump the breaks. If you have a good date, wait a day or two. Send a text that's no more than 3 sentences/complete thoughts. "Hey I enjoyed spending time with you at our date. I like your (smile/wit/thoughts on xyz/etc)!" Brevity is your friend. Wait to see how she responds. If it's flirty, suggest a second date. If not, you can keep texting but she may not be interested.

Just keep putting yourself out there. It gets easier with practice!
/r/seduction21/07/16 10:45 PM

Congratulations! When I was 21 I pursued a 35 year old man who isn't conventionally attractive because he was funny and smart and wasn't trying to pursue me. He was just comfortable in his own skin. And the sex was amazing. Just being happy with yourself is important.
/r/seduction21/07/16 10:44 PM

As a woman, if I say no, a lot of the time men will persist. Sometimes they get kind of threatening. It happens often enough that many girls have decided to give fake numbers or lie about having a boyfriend (almost all men respect other men, but not all men respect women) to avoid overly aggressive guys. It isn't a reflection of you, just douche bags who can't take no for an answer. Hope that makes sense.
/r/seduction21/07/16 10:32 PM

Awesome! That's a great first step. What'd you say?
/r/seduction21/07/16 10:30 PM

I'm female and I get tired of being objectified. Ask a woman what she thinks about (current event) or the most recent movie she's seen or book she's read. Really asking questions that require a little thought is good in general.
