I got one. I was 44, we are still together.

Because photos are not real men standing in front of them and flirting
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 08:38 PM

Because there are no single men at church?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 08:31 PM

It sounds more like a crappy girlfriend. Pick better next time.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 05:18 PM

The response is to dump a guy who does that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 05:14 PM

Yuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 05:04 PM

What if he likes men?

I have been insulted most in middle school, some in high School, a lot in college, and A LOT in a certain nerd fandom.

Uh, weird way of looking at success. But yes he is the alpha chad of my dreams and I am incredibly thankful for him

No one is perfectly healthy. I am pretty honest about my flaws

What's not true? That women my age have fewer options or something? All I can tell you is that I have never struggled to find a boyfriend and I finally fell in love at age 44. Maybe other people have different stories.

Yes, I had issues. I got therapy and now I am better.

No. My man and I are going on 8 years.

Any non personal tips on coping with PTSD? First thing you need to know- it's not your fault. Then you need to recognize which symptoms you are assumed were normal habits, are not. A therapist can explain it better. I had a psychiatrist who could prescribe sedatives.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 11:21 PM

Understanding how and why, and what to do about it. I am being purposely vague because it's personal. But the main takeaway was how to cope with PTSD and other issues from childhood. And how to recognize bad people.

Why my amygdala is all messed up from childhood trauma, among other things.

But are you cute?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:23 PM

Women with natural big boobs usually do not stay thin. I know one woman like this. Toothpick with jugs.

Divorce, most of the time is a bad thing as is only present so one doesn't murder their husband or wife. So...remove divorce and let the murder just happen??
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:11 PM
2

Exactly! I don't get why more of the people here think therapy is bad, it helped me more than years of World of Warcraft ever did.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:06 PM

What steps did you do to make yourself better to get better men? Did you approach these better men? Go to the gym? Learn good game to get the amazing men to date you? I'm actually curious what women do when they struggle to find decent men. Real answer? I got therapy. Once the shrink explained everything to me it made sense and I got better. Still had a few years before I met the love of my life at age 44, but it all worked out. So glad I never married the wrong guy.

LOL no :D

Why do you doubt me? I was not picky and I didn't know how to vet. So if a relationship was bad, I ended it.

Sotyou would give up everything you have experienced? No right? So what else is there to life? Pray enlighten this miserable soul Life has been good to you hasnt it? I have had my own problems, thank you very much. Just be glad for all the things YOU have the others do not.

All women have different types. I like dark ethnic men with beaky noses. My best friend finds that repulsive. She likes blonde men with beards and button noses. I find that boring. My other best friend likes tall men who are always white. Yawn. Another gal pal likes Jason Momoa. See how all of us have different tastes? So even if we find most men unattractive we all like the guys the other woman passes up.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 05:42 PM

Or maybe they find certain guys wildly attractive who are not Chad.

I yammer on and on about the Ice Ages or Napoleon. He thinks that's awesome.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:59 PM

Oh sorry, I skipped breakfast and got dumb. Yeah she is being greedy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:58 PM

She paid to be at the aquarium and gave him a painting. That is the gift, so I don't see his problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:54 PM

None of these describe my man. I had a flirty ex? OK.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:39 PM

If my husband is the guy I am currently with, then sure. He is loyal.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:35 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:25 PM

And what benefit is there to a woman who settles for a man she does not like? Wouldn't it be preferable to live with "box wine and cats" than have to French kiss some guy she finds yucky?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:22 PM

No, I am 51 and trust me when I say this is not true.

Since I began dating at age 15 I have hardly ever been single for more than a few months, and always by choice. Getting a relationship is super duper easy, so if I wanted one it was a gimme. Does that mean the boyfriends were all Prizes? No. It was better to be single than continue dating him.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:01 PM

Of course. Every man here is Chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 04:27 AM

Or maybe you guys could change.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 11:48 PM

Yes, and those people will not be compatible.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 09:25 PM

I know a lot of guys from the Middle East and it varies. If the values do not westernize, women will figure that out pretty quick and move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 09:22 PM

Sure why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 08:58 PM

I look forward to all the hot ethnic men, no lie. That is where I got my SO and many other women will do the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 07:44 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 05:24 PM

I am a sparkling wit.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 05:20 PM

Hell to the yes!
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 05:13 PM

What if I am the fun dispenser? Ever think of that?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 04:36 PM

Having known enough homeschool kids, this makes me sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:53 PM

Only if it's horseback riding trips.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:11 PM

In that case, I can spend my own money on cool stuff. He can save. I have dated poor dudes before.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:08 PM

I would put on a mustache and apply.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:42 PM

Do you enjoy this dynamic?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:35 PM

Why can't she take an Uber to pick up the car? Why do you have to do it?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:17 PM

Literally no one cares about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 07:50 PM

Naw, maybe it was the other guy from yesterday.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:09 PM

Silver Post or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:04 PM

No, I can see his comments with his name deleted.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:01 PM

All he could talk about was having babies and how men denied fatherhood unalive themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:00 PM

Looks like the guy with the breeding fetish deleted his account.

I bring him joy.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 04:44 PM
3

Positive all the way! I met my SO on Match and we are very much in love. I was never going to meet him otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 04:41 PM

Not really. If we applied the Vonnegut story here, men would have to experience monthly crippling pain and constant weakness. Men would be handicapped physically to make them even with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 03:22 PM
6

What does fairness even mean here? It's like the Vonnegut story where all the smart people have to wear noisy headphones and all the beautiful women have to wear ugly things, etc. So everyone is handicapped to the same level. Why? Do guys here want all people to be the exact same thing in order to achieve the result of fair outcome? What a gross world.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/24 07:42 PM

For, as Reik points out, when men speak of "love" they are really talking about "scrotal frenzy." genuine LOL!
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 09:36 PM

This is exactly it. Hypergamy could mean literally anything- if I am smarter and better looking and more charming than my boyfriend, they will yap that he makes more money. If I make more money and own my own house and won a beauty contest, they will yammer that he must be more educated. It never ends.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 05:39 PM

Say your met the partner of your dreams. So good looking, great personality, you are in love. After 5 years of pure bliss and plans for the future, you learn that your partner murdered someone ten years ago. Not self defense, but a disturbing murder of a child. Creepy and alarming. Does your love for this person shine through and you stay together? Of course not. You immediately stop liking them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 05:35 PM

I never cared what anyone else thought of the guys I liked. My first boyfriend was a huge crush of mine and all my friends though the was an embarrassment. Who cares. Even now I like the men I like, no one else matters.

BTW I think it's cute this got downvoted.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 06:37 PM

They mocked me, ridiculed me, gaslit, patronised and friendzoned me; they destroyed my mental health, crushed my self-esteem and pushed me to the brink of suicide. People have done all these things to me. I am not unique, this is pretty common for ND people.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 06:02 PM
2

Why did you date such men? I am on the spectrum and have a hard time vetting.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 05:25 PM
1

Why lie? I was a smokeshow and men wanted to be seen with me. It explains why certain boyfriends treated me like an accessory instead of a person, why they did not seem to like my personality at all, yet did not want to lose me. They got to parade me around.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 05:22 PM
3

Did they run over your cat or steal your car?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 05:10 PM

Why would you want to hate a group of people who did you no wrong?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 05:06 PM
2

This is surprisingly insightful. And yes, some men I dated absolutely dated me just to make other men jealous. It was all about rankings and nothing about love.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 05:04 PM

Agreed on all points.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/24 04:54 PM

Historically speaking the 13th and the 15th are the days for the sidechick, because wifey gets the 14th. I never knew any of this, we just wait until the weekend when the restaurants are less crowded.

When we are honest to a fault we are accused of gaslighting.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 06:12 PM

We don't actually care if you do this. Men en masse will never bother doing this either. What we find irritating is the "Western women are all whores" narrative you use to justify getting a Filipina wife or whatever.

Childhood trauma and parental relationships have a huge impact on the mates we choose.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 05:20 PM
34

Eh, in my experience it's not about leagues or who is above the other person, it's about psychological issues and childhood experiences with distant parents. I simped HARD for my first boyfriend in high school even though everyone else thought he was a huge dork. He was not above me, but he broke my heart because I have issues with my avoidant dad and he was avoidant.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 05:00 PM

They couldn’t give a fuck about that In reality all this crying is just about taking a swing at women—it’s about control. Spot on.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/24 08:37 PM

When I was in high school there were constant talks about drinking and driving, sober graduation, teen pregnancy, drugs, you name it. It was assumed that high school teens were partying hard and driving into trees. Now? No one goes out.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/24 05:40 PM

Once my boyfriend drove me all the way to a concert downtown that he was not even attending and waited until it was over to drive me back home after midnight. It was a lot of freeways. I will always remember he did that for me so I would not get an Uber.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 07:41 PM

Gah, same here.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 06:15 PM

I am trying to figure out why he is crying.

That rarely happens in western countries. This is not India where people accept loveless marriages, in most societies it would be shocking if a woman got married to a man she did not love.

The number of women who lead with claims of demisexuality and forbidding hookups that somehow still have a storied sexual past is nauseating. Why is it nauseating if you are not religious? Is sex a sin to you? No? Then why care?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 08:33 PM

The guys here act like all women are playing some AFBB con game. In reality people are just dating and forming relationships and looking for love like we have for decades now.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 08:20 PM

This is what I learned as well.

Marilyn Monroe was the highest quality woman of her time, according to men back then. She had a HUGE n count. What men say they want on PPD is not reflective of most dudes. Even trad men lusted after Marilyn Monroe and wanted to marry her. What we can conclude is that men want a beautiful sexy woman who behaves in feminine ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 05:07 PM
4

I agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 05:04 PM

I am curious how they want women to dress, for reals. Like she wears frumpy dumpy in public and comes home to whip it off, wearing only Little French Maid around the house?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:18 PM

I had this happen, and I let him down easy. Sometimes it's the pheromones, or they look too much like a close relative, or he reminds you of someone. You cannot force attraction.

I really do think its a scare tactic to convince women to get married young.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 08:38 PM

I wouldn't work at all if I had a billion dollars, I would be on a yacht with my family. She kept going on about working being a badge of honor. I am a lot like this, Protestant work ethic.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 07:47 PM

::shrug:: Enjoy your next woman, I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 07:32 PM

I am from a UMC background and I work blue collar jobs. Oh noes.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 07:26 PM

most people from an UMC background with a professional career aren't going to want their wife working in electrical/construction trade Don't be a snob.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 05:30 PM

Only on the internet. IRL I know gobs of normal people and the only ones pushing purity culture are hard core Christians. But never forget that the Christian men all push for sex with their girlfriends. I agree that this is confusing.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:31 PM

What's weirder is atheist guys expecting purity culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:18 PM

Yup. I did that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:04 PM

Imagine being religious and knowing something is a sin and still pestering your girlfriend to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:01 PM

I am honestly flabbergasted at the expectations some dudes have. Do they really believe what they write? Normally I would have compassion for the downtrodden but they talk about "n-counts" of three being promiscuous and "for the streets" and beneath them. They wud be LUCKY to get that girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 07:54 PM

I should do this. Seriously.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 07:25 PM

Its too much hassle, so I do it once a month.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 06:59 PM

Some men on PPD seem determined to burn themselves to the ground. I am sympathetic to normal guys who struggle, but the unrealistic standards and expectations I see here? What they want is never going to work, and when we try to steer them clear we get downvoted. If she is a virgin in her mid twenties she is either not interested in sex at all for whatever reason, or she's super religious like me. I was a virgin until almost 30 and men HATED waiting. Even religious trads hate virgins who make th…

Is anger an emotion?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 06:37 PM

Enjoy celibacy. Not because there are no virgins your age, but because this attitude will kill your relationship. What will happen is this: you guys go out, maybe become a couple. Maybe make out. She puts the brakes on and you get pissy. "Why you make me wait for the sex??" She explains she is not comfortable with it, virgin or no, who can say. Maybe she was molested. Whatever, none of your business. You get sulky and she feels bad. She asks her friends and they are alarmed at your attitude. She…

/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 01:28 AM

Exactly, you need a witness to your life.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:23 AM

I don't care if you get married or not. I care that you isolate and live a life where no one knows you died.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:22 AM

I would rather love someone who dies than never love anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:21 AM

This is more common than people know.

Anyone who lives long enough will experience the loss of everyone you love. But for the men who have children and grandchildren and wives have greater odds of not dying alone. Since men live shorter lives than women and typically marry younger partners, the odds of the wife outliving him are high. Kids usually outlive parents. Old men need taking care of, trust me. I work in elder care and I can tell you flat out, if I did not cook their meals they just eat cookies and drink coffee. Who will see…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:19 AM

You can do that without marrying lmao. I never married. I am not alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:13 AM

And it seems men are just more prone to isolation in general for whatever reason. All the more reason to fight it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:12 AM

How old are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 12:11 AM

I am 51 and I have a lot of friends from a bohemian life who are now dying. We just learned recently of another one, dead from diabetes. At least he had his father. Tiring to see so much preventable depression and death. To see red pill advocate for the bachelor life as if that is some Valhalla escape is enough to post my warnings here for the young men- DON'T DO THIS. Gay or straight, find someone to love you. Hold onto friends. Call your siblings. You are not made for solitude.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 10:01 PM

Regardless of women's desires or a female agenda, it is in men's best interest not to live alone. You could be gay, or live with family or close friends. No women required, just don't isolate. The problem is years turn into decades and you lose friends to every reason and before you realize it, there is no one on earth who cares if you live or die. Don't let that happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 09:49 PM

If single men get regular check ups, eat right and exercise that gap would surely close. But humans are social animals and we need close loving relationships to thrive. It does not have to be romantic, you could have a brother who lives with you. Just don't live in a shack by yourself like the Unabomber.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 09:46 PM

No one can tell you what to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 09:41 PM

2015 When he died, who was gathered around his bed in the hospital crying over his swollen hands and feet as his heart failed? We were, his few friends left. After he died, no family claimed the body. The hospital started nagging his roommates to pay to pick up the corpse or they would mass cremate and throw him in a paupers grave. He had nothing but three friends in all the world. He was 61.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 09:32 PM

You seem really young, so take it from an older gal- men don't do well alone. If they do not have roommates or family looking after them, they die young of preventable diseases. Or they drink themselves to death. EDIT to add- I work with the elderly and I see how the end game is. In your twenties you still have friends. Wait until you are older and see how lonely people get.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 09:28 PM

This is the correct answer. I know 3 or 4 bachelor men who died young of cancer or something else that they ignored and had they been nagged into the doctors office they would still be alive.

I never took anything for perimenopause and every month I suffered a day or two of deep depression. Then it went away. Women are designed like this by nature and has nothing to do with marriage or children. Guys on PPD skew very young and inexperienced so they think women are just lah de dah happy go lucky. We're not. Hormones.

He was out on bail, since Ukraine is a nice country that does not execute people for showing up. But he tried to skip bail by leaving Ukraine and they caught him again, and he died of pneumonia.

I just learned that Coach Red Pill died in a Ukrainian prison recently and I am conflicted. It's sad when someone passes, but he posted some of the worst videos on YouTube and he doxed journalists in the Russian war. I also found his wife's divorce allegations disturbing. Just sad how much he wasted his entire life.
