Counter opinion here, I wouldn't give someone my Instagram. If we are moving off the apps then I'd give my number to chat, Instagram is terrible as a cha function, and I have a private Instagram for a reason, it's only for close friends and family, I'm not sharing that with some random from a dating app. Remember if you want her IG because you don't trust her then she may not trust you enough to share it.

As a woman. Can confirm this is 100% accurate. However I'm not afraid to say it. 😜

Incredibly simple and useful advice. Thank you

Thanks for your response. Also, "Your gut instinct is correct" cracked me up. 🤣 However - I am not talking about trying to game my way into a husband. I realise that for women generally that IS the end goal, and that that's probably what I'm missing when thinking about how female game would work. But that requires that you are already seeing someone. For now what I'm more interested in is how to approach men in real life and get a date. It's fine to be hot and available but most men aren't appro…

Yes you're right it doesn't have to be a date. I guess what I meant was how do you start the initial interaction. I'm pleased you have said that approaching IS a good thing, because frankly just sitting around looking pretty and hoping the eight person will approach you (but knowing in reality they won't) sounds incredibly dull. You're right that women are more complex than men when it comes to their partners. I suppose I hadn't been thinking about that as much in terms of why women need gaming.…

What I'm hearing from a lot of these responses is "Don't make the first move - make yourself approachable". My questions would be this: 1) How do you make yourself approachable? 2) How does this work when the majority of guys are not approaching women?

Thank you, that's a really good point about complimenting them and making them feel good about themselves.

And there you have landed on a significant part of the problem. Another reply said basically, "Don't approach guys it's not attractive, wait for them to approach you" but that's not how people date anymore. People don't approach each other on the street and ask for a date. Neither women nor most men (r/seduction members excepted) That's why I feel there is value in simply being a person who does approach. The question is how to go about it. Rubbing arms is great and definitely something I would …

I'm not in any particular rush to settle down. I've been quite sure for a while now that I don't want children which both takes away the pressure but has the added hurdle of finding a partner with the same intent to be childfree. That being said I'm not in any rush to find that one person just yet. I'm in a period of wanting to explore a little bit before getting attached again.

Firstly - You are right. Evolution doesn't give a shit about equality and men will always be attracted to women who make good wives and mothers. I suppose I am rare in the fact that I'm a woman who realises and accepts these things. (hence why I'm here). Unfortunately I'm also a woman who doesn't want children, which is a whole other fun game I have to contend with when dating... That being said, I'm not actually looking for a husband right now. Maybe that's my first problem. But I would still l…

Yes I definitely have. But after that I have no experience approaching guys I find attractive and making the first move

I was in a long term relationship (2+ years) which ended in 2020. We did meet on tinder but I've tended to be in a lot of longer monogamous relationships and never really gone on proper "dates" before, if that makes sense. When I was at uni I hooked up with a few people from tinder but we tended to have friends in common so I was never meeting or approaching total strangers. I've now started putting myself back out there and actually dating people I'm meeting for the first time. I'm not really s…

Solid response thank you! and I do agree with the soulmate thing. For a long-term commitment there are so many things like chemistry and compatibility which you can't force. You're also right that wading through the muck is exhausting. Another thing I thought of today was "negative game" ie - how to immediately turn off a persistant guy you're not into? Might be a useful thing to learn 🤣

I don't disagree with you. But I would still be interested in knowing what is likely to be attractive to men or maybe more helpfully, what is a turn off? What approach could a woman use with you to be the most attractive/ effective. How would you feel if a woman approached you?

As I said in my post, I know that women tend to go for the top 20% of men. What I'm interested in is what men are receptive to and if there's any tips for how to approach men in the wild (read - not on dating apps). If game for men is about getting women to choose you over the top 20% , then female game must be about how to get the top 20% to choose you. Your answer seems to indicate what I suspected which is - there IS no game for women. But there should be. What in your experience would be a g…
