If you like and enjoy your life you will not be preoccupied about what others think of you. You will be focused on surrounding yourself with good times and good people. That energy radiates off you and is highly attractive. People want to play seduction games but the reality is you have to do the hard work to make your life great.

Being a bartender is a great way to increase your social confidence which is about 70% of getting girls if not more. The key thing with bartending is you generally start every interaction the same way, so you learn that most interactions are more about what the other people bring to it than what you do. Once you fully internalize that it's so easy to stop giving a fuck what people think about you.Being good looking obviously helps, but also presenting yourself well. Not being a slob. Nice shoes …

Honestly years of introspection, therapy, a kinda fucked up relationship and a life altering knee injury simultaneously that forced me to reevaluate my priorities, figure out what I wanted in a relationship, and helped me be much more content and less anxious (after a lot of pain and misery of course). Overall, just life experience and learning not to take shit so seriously. The more you can internalize the fact that life is a big game and we are just here to be kind to others and enjoy ourselve…

Having recently learned that I am in fact cool and fun and have a lot to offer, everything with women has changed completely. I'm so comfortable talking to them and flirting and I'm not outcome dependent and it has skyrocketed my confidence

I always describe it as kindness rather than "being nice". Kindness is honest, being nice isn't always honest and is often manipulation.

Glad I could help man. I know this struggle well lol. Def open up to your therapist don't be afraid that's what they're here for. We all have our issues and it's our job to work through them and it's just not easy. You got a good girl and a good head on your shoulders so just keep trying to learn and be open and honest. Most importantly you know that you will self sabotage so be aware of that whenever you feel off and question it to see if the reasons you're feeling off are legitimate or insecur…

Haha yeah man, I've had that experience repeatedly. It just gives you insight that you have to try and remember. It won't fix it all, just one piece of the puzzle. There's no magic key to this insecurity shit. It's rough and I know the feeling. Depression is rough too. I certainly know about that as well. I'm a good looking dude and the amount of times I pushed away women who were throwing themselves at me is INSANE. I think about all those moments all the time and it's fucking painful. I think …

Hey man we are all insecure. Question is if you do anything to work on it. Therapy helps SO much. Mushrooms have helped me too. And anything that makes you feel more confident so working out, cool activities etc. I started skydiving last year and unfortunately got badly hurt but the experience has increased my confidence and resistance to fear a ton! Therapy> all tho. Good luck my dude!

Do what makes sense to you. It really fucks with some people. Others prefer the honesty. Best to just go with what matters to you. Fuck whatever everyone else says. It's your life and your relationship.

Why is a woman with a high body count settling...? Sounds insecure and not very high value to me 😂

Yeah I feel that dude. End of the day it's just an insecurity in your head tho. Def worth diving deep into the nature of this insecurity and why it fucks with your head so much. This is a tough one for sure and something I'm not comfortable with either. If you have a really good relationship its not worth ending over this though, at least without really working through it. In your own head. Ideally with a therapist.

The answer here is simple dude. Life is scary. Just like you I have had a ton of fear around women and frozen in the same way you did. You need to learn how to push past your anxiety and fear and just go. Each time you do that it will get easier. Experience is the way. I was working on getting my skydiving license last year. Unfortunately ended up getting hurt pretty bad on my 8th jump, but I'll never forget the first time I went. I was the last one off the plane, so I had to watch everyone else…

Feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable means you are challenging yourself. Don't be afraid of those feelings. Going outside of your comfort zone is...uncomfortable. Being uncomfortable is where change happens. If you avoid discomfort you will never change. If you learn to accept discomfort, the world is your fucking oyster.

Take her at her word bro. Do your thing, vibe with other girls and enjoy your life. She's not ready to date. It's not a bad idea to hit her up every now and again with a flirty text or something to remind her you're interested but I wouldn't do anything past this. Trying to get someone to date you who isn't absolutely excited that you asked them out is just asking for pain. There are plenty of girls you will have feelings for. This is so accurate bro. Reading OP's post it's just the wrong mindset. It's centered on others rather than himself. I know cuz I've lived with this mindset my whole life. You have to learn to flip the script for YOURSELF and stop putting so much stock into others. Enjoy your life and challenge yourself. You'll naturally attract people in that state. Maybe you won't be James Bond, but plenty of women will find you attractive.

Hey man that's awesome and happy birthday! I've been on this same path for a long time so I get it. Biggest advice I have is don't let slip ups fuck you over. You don't have to be perfect to improve. Just be better than you were more often then not. Over time it adds up. I tried changing everything and being perfect but I kept burning out. When I started to give myself credit for my progress and allow myself to make mistakes without completely detailing me, my life got much better. Best of luck …

Go to therapy or get a life coach bro. Makes a huge difference. Don't be afraid to confront your shit.
/r/seduction17/04/22 08:47 PM

Could be as simple as she's at the gym and a lot of women aren't comfortable meeting men at a place they go regularly. You never know why you're rejected unless they explicitly tell you. And even then, they don't know you at all. They're just making a quick judgement. I am terrified to approach too bc I have low self worth, but what I said above is key to remember.
/r/seduction15/04/22 12:52 AM
2

I've been this way for a long time because I am incredibly scared of rejection and that I am not worthy of anyone. When I'm in a good mood feeling confidant I'm actually really good with women though, which has generally been rare in my life. Your looks are not where confidence originate from. It's easier to be confident when you're good looking for sure. I have been approached by attractive women quite a few times in my life and either blown them off out of fear or had the same thing you descri…

Where you from bro? America was mostly founded by a religious cult essentially, called puritans. A lot of the shame we carry around sex comes from them. Most of us have internalized this weird shit where sex has to hide in the dark and is wrong, rather than being a perfectly natural activity for us to enjoy with a partner. Maybe just spend some time thinking about what sex and attraction actually IS vs what messages you have been taught outright and subliminally by your parents, your peers and y…

You're asking for numbers that no one can really know lol. It all depends on what you do and how you do it. You can certainly get numbers salsa dancing especially if you're good. But nothing I can say will help you, you're looking at this completely differently from how I look at life. Good luck bro. Salsa is fun as fuck, I'd say try it.
/r/seduction06/11/21 08:44 PM

Bro, you are looking at this COMPLETELY WRONG. Do you actually want to learn to salsa and bachata? Or do you just want to pick up chicks. Cuz if you genuinely want to learn, it's super fun, great skill to have and you'll def end up getting some women bc of it. But if you're only doing it as a tool to pick up women and are looking at it like a chore, and it is pretty clear from your post that you are, take a step back. Don't waste your time doing shit you don't want to do. Find something else you…

I just wish I wasn't too scared to be my own mentor when I was younger. Now I'm 29 and while I have some experience with women I got a lot to learn still and I have a lot of shame about it.

1

Haha my brother! I feel ya. I feel the same way but I think that's an assumption you're making which isn't always true. I guess the question for both of us is why would that stop us? It's not cuz we're scared they'll be slightly annoyed, we're scared of them rejecting us. But it really doesn't matter all that much when you think about it.

Your grandpa is right. You'd be surprised how easy it is to make conversation. I suck at doing it with girls cuz I'm scared (working on that lol), but good at it generally. You just have to make genuine observations that offer some value or kindness to people. Start there and you'll just learn over time.

Damn dude, this really hit me. I never thought about how my dad never gave me ANYTHING on dealing with girls or being a mentor in this realm in any shape or form. Thanks for that. As far as nice guys go, you're spot on. Too scared to show their real selves to people. I always say there's a different between "nice" in this context, and "kind". Nice is fake. It's people pleasing. "Kind" is real. You don't betray yourself because of someone else. But you can still be kind to them. There's a huge di…

Me too. I've been doing some writing lately just writing out short stories of cool/impactful stuff that's happened in my life as an exercise for a few reasons but one of the main reasons is to become a better storyteller. Really a valuable life skill, and highly applicable to the topic of this sub as well. Sharing them is pretty scary for me as well so I've been doing that too.

Ever seen the will smith skydiving video? "God put the best things in life on the other side of fear" Fear isn't an impulse to run away from, it's a guide on where you need to go. I'm 29 and just learning this. Some never learn it. Be one who does 🙏

This is one of the best posts I've seen on here cuz it's so genuine. People act like girls are this monolith that you need these x steps to fuck. Just try to be your best self in your life, and be willing to take risks and fuck up and you'll have way more success. Fuck yeah man, keep it up.

Dont listen to anyone on here tbh. Do what you want. You barely know either of them. If you genuinely have chemistry with her then maybe it's worth it. But I don't know what's actually happening only what you're saying. Trust your gut on this one bro, whatever it's saying is probably right. If you care about your friend you will tell him that this is going on. If you barely know him and don't care much, I might ask the girl what is going on and see what she says. But again...trust your gut.

I have the exact same problem bro. I'm a very handsome dude, have had girls approach me many times, etc etc. Only been with a few women in my life because I'm straight up TERRIFIED. Still working through this but all I can say is you just have to go for it. If you feel like telling her you're not experienced then tell her. If you don't then don't. Fuck her reaction. Just do you. Hahaha thanks bro. Going into surgery tomorrow for my leg I destroyed crashing into a shed skydiving so I got more stories 😂. At least talking to girls doesn't seem quite as scary now. The first time I went skydiving I started laughing when we got to jump altitude because the fear I felt was the same as when I am trying to talk to a girl I like. That shit blew my mind, and made me think about how we frame things in our minds and how delusional that can be. Literally felt like life and death whet…

Thanks man. I've been dealing with this shit my whole life and am finally learning to conquer the fear and anxiety. With women especially, but in all areas of my life. Still have a longggg way to go. I hope I can help others even just a little to do the same. When you finally realize it's all just in your head and you can just fucking do whatever is scaring you...it changes everything.

Shit hit me hard when he said it. I'll never forget it. The only thing that will help is overcoming fear and doing it. Then the next time will be easier. Ok, story time: I've been cliff jumping at this spot near me the past few years. I'm a pretty adventurous person and want to do crazy shit but I've always played it fairly safe at the same time. Anyways, lot of different sized cliffs you can jump. There's a group between about 15' and 35' which I've jumped all of many times and enjoy. Then, above that, there's a 60'+ cliff. Always looked at it, always too scared to jump it. Had a few bad experiences landing awkwardly off the 30' or so cliffs so …

Im a good looking guy. I've been approached by attractive women in a bar a few times. I still doubt myself with women all the time and feel insecure and that im not good enough for others. Sure it felt good in the moment. But it doesn't solve anything because it's completely out of your control. Take shit into your own hands. A women approaching you at a bar doesn't matter. That's a great comment bro thank you. Classic example of how letting go of expectation and just fucking letting it fly can lead to crazy shit you would NEVER expect. The stories in our heads are bullshit. I've had some similar experiences where I thought something was a joke and just flowed with it for fun and then it changed to real and it really is weird when you realize that there's a whole world out there open to us if we just allow ourselves to flow.

Yeah man. It really resonates with me because I've always been "nice" and I've realized recently that this is really just people pleasing which inherently requires me betraying myself for others. This leads to a lot of despair and resentment of yourself for betraying your wants and needs. I'm learning to stand up for what I actually want while also treating others with empathy and respect. It's a HUGE difference in both how you view yourself and how others view you. It will piss some people off,…

This is a great post. As far as dangerous goes, I think the key here is 1. Having confidence in yourself (I.e. not letting others walk over you) 2. A willingness to take risk, both physically and socially. The distinction between kind and nice you make may seem minor to some who read this, but it's so fucking important. Not just in dating but in life. Kindness ends and niceness begins where you betray yourself for the sake of others.

It means you follow her earlier advice in your situation - go to the club to dance and have fun and meet girls elsewhere - but you have to actually mean it. You can still meet girls there but it seems like the pressure you're putting on yourself is massive. Take that pressure off and you'll have way more fun and be way more appealing to women. Easier said than done, I still struggle with it. But it's true.

Yeah I've had moments in my life where I've done that and it's worked out very well for me. It really comes down to not worrying about what other people think of you and doing what you want to do because you want to do it, period. People judge out of fear. I know I have many times. Letting go of self limiting beliefs. Being consistent in overcoming negative habits and adding positive ones. Changing my general mindset that I have when interacting with women. I'm WAY ahead of where I was 2 years ago, but it's still a struggle a lot of days. As a child I was essentially taught to be incredibly insecure and that I couldn't trust myself. It's a fucking mess trying to untangle those stories in my head, but I am doing a lot of work to do this. Any suggestions would be appreciated…

For sure so will walking past him next time after you flash him tho hahah. It's ok to be a little awkward if you're going for what you want! I'm awkward around girls I like still but you just have to try imo. But hey do you this is just my take, good luck!

How will you be sure he's interested without talking? Even if you flash him he might just be super shy and respond that way then you'll think hes gay haha. But hey do you, I'm just a shy guy and while I'd love getting flashed by a cute girl at my apt complex, I wouldn't really know what to do with it haha. Come talk to me.

You should probably just talk to him and say you think he's cute and that you guys should get a drink. Or ask him to come up to your place. Whatever you're feeling. I mean getting flashed would be hot but idk what's gonna come from it ya know? You need to talk at somepoint.

I'm with you and have done this so many times in my life bro. The reality is there is no easy solution besides this: just do it. It will never get easier until you actually do it. The best things in life are on the other side of fear. But it takes courage to get there. Courage isn't the absence of fear, it's acting in the face of it. This is the only way to become truly confident. Practically speaking, sometimes it's easier to ask during the conversation rather than at the very end. If you feel …

I think if you're coming from the perspective of "I am trying to get as many women as possible" you're inherently coming from a place of needing constant external validation to feel good about yourself, so it's going to be hard to get to this place. If you come from a place of trying to live your absolute best possible life in every facet of life, I think it's a lot easier to achieve this mindset. Abundance>scarcity. Either way I'm not there yet xD

Everyone I've ever met lol. I'm not saying dont BE impressive. I'm saying the most impressive thing is to live a life that is fundamentally impressive so you don't have to go super far out of your way. If you've ever met someone who is simply an impressive person and doesn't really have to try, this is self evident. Obviously trying a bit is fine. Trying super hard is desperate and will just attract insecure people.

There are assholes and great people in every group, even ones with some wild beliefs like Jehovah's. Almost always best to let a person tell you who they are by their words and actions rather than assuming based on affiliation to a group. Obviously....there are a few exceptions to this concept haha.

I think it just comes down to the different between "trying" to be alpha, and just being comfortable with who you are, going for what you want and not worrying about other peoples opinions. That's the most alpha shit you can do. That is what true confidence is. I think that is just important to keep in mind. Not always trying to enforce your dominance or whatever else people TRYING to be alphas out of insecurity do.

I'm right there with ya brotha. Letting go of attachment to outcomes is the key, and it's fucking hard. A lot easier to do when you are actually getting those outcomes on occasion. Awareness is the first step, so you already got there!

Progress fucking sucks and is so hard but it's acute pain vs the slow life sucking pain of living in the same shitty mental bubble your whole life. And so much beauty is on the other side. We just have to find the courage to go there. Many won't. Sometimes I still think I won't/can't, but I just try to keep going. We must take responsibility for our own lives. No one else can or will do it for us.

I'm just gonna be straight up with you. You're a very good looking dude. Your attitude sucks. I don't mean that to be mean. It's just true. You have to reframe how you view life. It's not easy. I don't know exactly where your hang ups are, but they are there. I know a ton of people who were virgins past 21. Some of them are VERY attractive people (men AND women) too. I had sex for the first time at 16. I beat most of my friends to the punch. I'm 29 now. I still have a TON of fear and anxiety with women, and most of those friends have had way more sex and relationships than I have. Being a virgin at 21 is pretty normal and is NOT a sign that something is wrong with you. Stop thinking like that. It's pointless. And just NOT true. You are creating this …

One follow up on this bro...lets assume it was worst case scenario and she gave you a fake # on purpose and was just playing nice so it wasn't awkward because she wasn't attracted to you. Maybe that is the case maybe it's not. Lets say it is. Well, you still overcame your fear and approached 10 hot girls at a club, talked with them, danced with them, had drinks with them, etc. That's HUGE. I sure as shit haven't done that. And where are you today? Alive, back at work, still you, nothing has real…

It's as embarrassing as we let it be. Obviously if the girl gives you a ton of shit for it, it's way more embarrassing, but this isn't what you're doing at all. I would imagine as a girl it's sometimes endearing, as long as it's not every time lol. Sounds to me like there's a lot of different things that could be going on here. He could just be embarrassed. He could have decided he doesn't really like you. He could have found someone else. Who knows. I'm guessing it's not just the embarrassment …

Yeah man that's what im picking up from you tbh. I think that's a good strategy although honestly from what you've said, I might try to do NOTHING with her the next few times you see her. It sounds like she is getting uncomfortable. Take some time to figure out exactly what you want, and go on another date or two with different women. Then decide what to do. I think that would bring you a ton of clarity and you'd be coming from a more certain and confident place when you do try anything with her…

I mean that you can't really hide how you are thinking and feeling even if you try, even if you are not fully aware of how you are thinking and feeling. It comes through in little actions, words and body language. The more you try to hide it the more it comes out haha. Not saying this is 100% what is happening with you, but it's happened with me MANY times. Especially when I was lying to myself about what I wanted.

Stop texting with them so much. Maybe have a short interaction, make a joke or two, and set up a date. Sometimes they will flake. Don't worry about getting friend zoned like in #11, just escalate with her next chance you get and she will either friend zone you or not. Girls sometimes say shit like that when they actually really into you. Just depends on the girl. The less you're worried about friend zone the less it will happen. The more we accept some people just won't be into us like that, the…

I enjoyed this but the TLDR is You can think, read, talk all you want. Only action in the face of fear will get you what you want. And you may realize that most of those fears aren't the big demons you thought they were. They were just figments of your imagination.

You don't need to do any of that. It's just games. Go talk to him and tell him you think he's cute. Have a follow up question as well, because this doesn't happen often and he may not be sure how to react. I'm a pretty good looking guy and have had girls come up to me a few times, wish it happened more often. I struggle with this so much man, but it sounds like you're on the right path to me. You tried. You're not gonna be great at anything when you first try it out. Each time you do it, you'll see the mistakes you made and adjust. You clearly are already in the right mindset. Just keep trying, approach people with kindness and openness and learn from what happens. And remember everyone is different, so what might work on one person won't work on another and visa versa.

I read half of this and all I can say is what do you want out of this? Just sex? Or more? To me it sounds like she knows she can take advantage of you to feel good about herself without having to do anything too intimate. Decide what you want, make it clear what you want, and then see what she says and does. If she doesn't want the same thing you have to be ok losing her.
/r/seduction12/08/21 01:39 PM

I've thought about this a lot. I think when you are in a relationship, you know you can get what you are seeking (sex, validation from the other sex, intimacy, etc), so you are not putting that onto other women. Nor do you really care what they think about you, so you may not even notice "rejection" in this context. When you are not in a relationship, you REALLY want something that they have. This comes through in how you communicate. AKA you act with confidence in yourself when you are in a rel…

I've been in this exact situation a billion fucking times and never do anything. Just do something. Maybe it will work maybe it won't. But you won't hate yourself after, even if you end up looking like a fool. At least you tried, and you learned. And each time you do something, it will get easier to do it the next time. Honestly, I went skydivin…

Yeah bro, sounds to me like we have the same problem. We put our value in the hands of others instead of ourselves. Just to give you an idea of the work I've been doing, my father is VERY intense and ALWAYS right about everything, and any little mistake I made elicited HYPER emotional responses. As I continue to grow I realize that I routinely give everyone around me the same power my father had over me as a child. Except they don't have it. I'll just tell you my experience, and perhaps it will resonate with you. Based on what you've said I think it might: I've lived my whole fucking life hiding from so many aspects of life that I want to experience because I'm so scared of how I will come off to others and what they will think of me. It's dominated my life for as long as I can remember, and has made me pass on so many opportunities with jobs, activities, women, you name it. It is why I am so terrified of dancing, it is such a vulne…

I totally understand that man. I think dancing is a SUPER valuable skill to have in dealing with women, but if you genuinely aren't interested in it you shouldn't be doing it. I know for me, I have always wanted to dance, it just scares the fuck out of me. I've taken quite a few classes and I still am SUPER uncomfortable when I walk in. The irony is once you your realize this and move on, you actually do have a chance xD Also I think the key is in the escalation and the confidence more than bad boys or being a dick or whatever else. It's just usually the cocky assholes are gonna be confident, assertive and willing to escalate. I'm no expert, but it seems to me if you can do these things AND not be a self absorbed asshole, I'd think you'd do even better with most women. I think it's just easier to believe it's something we can't really control in looks (obviously you can control this somewhat) than something we do have full control over which is confidence, general outlook and lifestyle. Progress in your life comes through small & consistent steps and choices you make everyday, and it won't feel like anything is changing in the moment. Keep making choices that challenge you, even if it's tiny (say hi to 1 random girl this week, do 15 pushups a day, whatever it is), everyday, or as often as possible.
