It would be, if I included locations, dates, times, or specifics about his job. Many jobs fall under Special Operations, I didn’t give away his. But, you don’t know any of those things from my post, so we’re good here OPSEC wise :)

Special Operations wife here, my beau and I went to the same high school, and our paths never crossed until we were about 21. I was stationed in Montana and he was stationed in Florida at the time. We could talk for hours, and he just had it. So intelligent, slightly mysterious, very strong work ethic, a taste for adventure, and a thirst for the traditional life he was raised in. Needless to say, we are happily married with a little girl, and (hopefully) another baby on the way. We’d love to hav…

I had an epiphany this morning while dressing my fussy toddler. I’ve been stressing my boyfriend out so much lately, and he has done so much to pitch in around the house and help out more with our daughter, and he hasn’t complained once. I had a great military career, that I ended to be a stay at home mom. Before, my family was able to brag about how proud they were of me for serving in the military, and traveling the world. Now, in their eyes, I’m not doing anything. At first, I had planned to go to nursing school after the military, but now time with my daughter is more valuable to me. So they see my lifestyle choice as lazy and irresponsible, though I am so happy and fulfilled taking care of my family and home.

I love Farmhouse on Boone and Girl in Calico on YouTube! Lisa from Farmhouse on Boone has a small homestead, six children, and some lovely traditional living videos! Girl in Calico has videos that are calming, aesthetically pleasing, and capture a slower way of living :) Enjoy!

I wear small pearl studs everyday! I feel much more feminine with them, and many people comment because pearl earrings are not common on a lady these days :) I prefer a more natural, clean make up look and long doe-like lashes! If you have to wear your hair back, try a French braid or curl your pony tail.
