Why is some dumbass editorial on Twitter that nobody gives a fuck about a men's rights issue? This is just the same old stirring the pot tactic of finding the most fringe shit on the internet and using it to tell all men they're under attack. It's pathetic. Men face REAL issues but you're here talking about goddamn Quick Take on Twitter? This sub is such a damn joke.

Check the sub, dude. Feminism is at the root of every issue according to this Reddit. But yeah, the actual problem here is 39 pillow hands trying to get laid. If there's a such thing as toxic masculinity, every white Knight in this video is it.

I pretty much agree there. As a matter of doing actual good, though, I caution against throwing the baby out with the bathwater. That's all.

I think this is backwards. Let's keep trying to understand what went wrong when women go psychotic and commit family murders, AND let's try to understand what pushes men to do the same thing. I don't like this crab mentality of " if we're not going to try to understand men's crimes we shouldn't be trying to understand women's either".

Dude, I could easily put together a video of guys saying men should have the right to beat their wives but that’s not cause for a headline reading “most men now comfortable with domestic violence” unless I was spinning a narrative.

Two victims described as young teens. It’s a fucking shame we have to keep saying this but, it’s RAPE, NOT SEX. She even went so far as to threaten suicide if the teens ended their “relationship”. I swear, when so called journalists write news stories about female predators abusing boys they write it like it’s a goddamn pedophile love novel.

Seems like it’s intended to produce fake outrage. Everyone I know generally understands men fixate on the macro and women on the micro and both genders produce better critical thinking than the other in those fields. So pretty much everyone I’ve ever met has had the attitude of “men are better at this, women are better at that”. Fake outrage.

Yeah we don’t get a pat on the back or a cookie or gold stars... and I hope that’s not what the fuck we want. No we don’t call each other kings, and if my friends started talking to me like that I would tell them to shut the fuck up. Men and women are just different. Women respond to that shit. If that’s what they need then fine, who cares? Men do have support groups. There are AA groups specifically for men who’ve struggled with substance abuse. There are church groups for men to hang out, talk…

Islamic cultures are diverse. Some stone rape victims while offering a daughter to the rapist as an apology for the woman being raped by him, others will stone the man and the woman. It all depends. Anyway, it’s all about how you look at things. When they set up blacks only water fountains it wasn’t to snub white people or because they gave a damn about blacks. You can take female subway cars however you want. Is it because all men are potential sex offenders or because all women are potential f…

I would advise you to really do your homework on Islam. Everything you just said was wrong. It’s not in their language that “men can’t be trusted around women”, is that the woman brings shame on herself and her family and is an abomination in the eyes god if she has company with a man other than her husband (or in some cases shows her face/hair). If anything is the antithesis of progressive in this world, it is Islam.

You’re just an incel big dawg. You haven’t named a sub I’m not banned from because you people are drawn from the same thread. Disagreement boils your brain and you can only cope by casting someone as positioned on the far end of some radical group.
/r/MensRights16/12/19 09:27 PM

Nah, you pretty are a man baby incel crying about girls having a toy you can’t play with, wether you like to be called one or not. You’ve been all over this thread defending sexual assault because only a minority of people do it and conflating the protection of consistent assault victims with discriminatory acts while dismissing reports of sexual misconduct because the facts are inconvenient for your view on the topic.

Blacks commit 52% of homicides. That is an area where they are way over represented in crime. Anyway, I don’t see the subway as discriminatory. I just don’t think if something is exclusive to one group that it discriminated against every other. Men are not barred from using the subway. There simply exists a female only car for women who wish to use it. All I keep hearing in this thread is people saying women shouldn’t have something if men don’t have their own special version of that thing. It’s…

Yeah man after spending today on this sub I’m pretty convinced it’s the wrong place for me and maybe any so called men’s rights group is a farce. Pretty much everyone I’ve interacted with in this thread has sounded worse than anyone I would talk to on twoxchromosomes or any other feminist sub. Don’t get me wrong, those places are bad enough, but this is even more of an echo chamber. Everyone I’ve talked to would rather see women continue to be assaulted in these countries because “men don’t get …

Per capita is a way of getting the narrative you want. The majority of crimes in America are committed by whites, period. It’s that simple.

Providing a service for one group and not everyone else is infringing on everyone else’s human rights. Got it. So it turns out we are discriminating against transsexuals by not having specific bathrooms for them.

The thing is there was never some widespread abuse taking place in restrooms that led to separating men and women in those areas. It was just socially accepted and perfectly normal to separate men and women in places where common sense told us there was an obvious potential for abuse. In the case of the subway it has been a matter of responding to public outcry and rapidly growing numbers of sexual misconduct. There’s a potential for abuse there that doesn’t necessarily exist say, on an airplane…

Because it’s not as blown out and hyperbolic as you want to make it sound. We have women’s only bathrooms and I imagine you’re all perfectly fine with that. Why don’t they have men’s only subway cars? Because nobody is demanding one. You didn’t give reasons. You pulled some whataboutism regarding men also being assault victims but failed to mention that the female only sub cars have dramatically reduced exploitative materials captured in public. You said it’s not an answer but didn’t back the statement up with anything, so, again no reason just an opinion, while ignoring the fact that it apparently is the best option available for now because it’s working. The flaw there is rates and types of sexual misconduct. It’s not all rape and groping. There’s a huge exploitation market over there. The problem has been men getting voyeuristic videos and images of women in the closed, tight space that is a sub car. It’s just a fact that virtually nobody has been sneaking cameras down men’s pants and taking pictures of their penises. That’s just not a two way problem. Crime, overall, being very lower doesn’t matter. Sexual exploitation, specifically, is very h…

This topic is a bit of a double edged sword for men’s rights. The sad truth is that countries like Japan and Mexico where women’s only subway cards are common, male on female sexual assaults are astronomically high. You can say wow that’s sexist, female only cars? But imagine how bad things had to get in order for these governments to take such extreme measures. Make no mistake, these are not “pussy whipped” countries. Culturally, they are highly sexualized. I mean, sexualization is one of Japan…

No I think you’re just angry and hearing voices. You’re literally upset about something that wasn’t even said and prepared to argue against it. When everything is about reading between the lines, all you’re really doing is writing your own story. Notice we don’t talk too much about women’s issues on r/mensrights... kinda goes without saying they don’t focus on men’s problems over at r/feminism. See it however you want, of course, but don’t be a drone.

I don’t think this is an issue man. Affordable housing is an issue. Domestic violence is an issue. I don’t see how this ad/post in any way infringes on men’s rights. Is it ALSO a men’s issue? You bet. But calling it a feminist issue in no way takes away from that. Feminism and Masculinity are not mutually exclusive, they can share interests and both be part of the same subject, separate from one another or not. I think shits getting a little nitpicky over here.

Us calling it out on Reddit isn’t gonna change a thing, man. Let’s be realistic. People post stuff like this because it’s easy rage fuel and it will, of course, get votes. I often hear so much “outrage” and stories like this for the first and only time right here on Reddit in the niche subs I’m a part of. Like this story for instance. Never heard about this. I wish this sub focused more on standing up for men where we are being pushed into the back seats of society and the legal system, instead of getting caught up with shit like this. We know radical feminists look for sexism where it doesn’t exists. This has become more about arguing down every dumb thing “feminists” say rather than actual men’s rights and how we can preserve a healthy role in our communities.

Every woman I've dated so far has flat out told me this. The only exception was my ex wife, who never once said anything like that. She just did it instead after I lost my job and found her cheating a month later. Apparently the stress was too much and that drove her to do it. Poor thing.

Yeah I really don't want to see these twisted ideas of body positivity creep into male culture. It's been extremely detrimental to women and women's health for the sake feeling better. I appreciate the sentiment but no thanks. It's okay to be attracted to someone who's overweight, really, but that individual needs to lose weight and get healthy. I think you're choosing not to see what's actually being pointed out. There is a double standard. That double standard being mainstream does have dangerous implications (if not immediate, somewhere down the road). I don't think it's really about sensitivity. One of the points of this sub is to frequently point out the creeping man hate in all corners of society and the buzzfeed article does a good job of illustrating how absurdity is being normalized. Checked. 1000 thumbs up, 3700 thumbs down, submitted by an MRA group. Not so sure it's trending the way OP thinks it's trending.. Edit: wrong. I, fucked, up. I wasn't so sure it wasn't trending the way OP didn't think it was trending.

I don't want to live in a society where every single statement has to be denoted with a mention of every possible thing that statement can be applied to. This is an example of that. Not every word out of someone's mouth has to be all inclusive. That's the type of SJW bullshit plaguing public discussions right now.

Wait, is he wrong? Shouldn't you talk to your children about boundaries? Surely he can't include every aspect of how that applies to boys and girls equally, in one tweet, while being on a specific topic. Grow a dick and stop acting like a bunch of feminists.

Let's just keep in mind we're talking about a 13 year old girl; not a woman...not a feminist activist...a stupid fucking kid. I know, grown women do the same shit - but, this, specifically, is about a child. The patents deserve the type of criticism you're giving. The child deserves about 6 months in juvenile detention and probation until she's 18. That's obviously not going to happen but let's just try to keep our heads on straight.

Well there is a sensible for reason for keeping the woman's name until she's actually convicted of a crime. The problem we should be pointing out here is disclosing the identities of 2 men who WEREN'T convicted of any crime. IMO it should be standard procedure to withhold the names of every person involved in an alleged sex crime until an actual criminal ruling has been established.

Maybe one way to put it is teenagers have a reliable intuition for detecting bullshit, but they're mostly equipped with underdeveloped forms of logic and lack any reliable tools for resisting things they feel are wrong.

On a side note, it's fucking terrible that people can't talk about adjusting age of consent, or at least making that consideration on a case by case basis instead of casting a blanket definition over every suit, without the word 'pedophile' floating around other people's heads. Since I brought it up, no, I do not want to fool around with a 16 year old girl. I'm 30, married with kids, and happy with life. BUT, when I was 20 I fooled around with a girl 3 years younger than me (17 is AoC in my stat…

Is there any other crime (or criminal case) where the accused has no right to know who is accusing them of a crime? Edit: excepting charges brought by government bodies where things like national security might obscure the exact identity of something or someone, or obvious circumstances like that.

I worked with a landscaper who is now a sex offender. We were cutting grass on an empty lot and he had to walk about 30 ft into the nearby woods to pee. He was spotted coming out and buckling his pants up by people in the area who called the police. They arrived and he gave them a truthful account of what happened which I corroborated. Turns out, the lot was owned by the school district (our boss knew this of course, we did not) and this poor guy was dragged into court on account of indecent exp…

I thought so but when I was in court with no phone-a-friend and one second left to answer I took the plea deal.

well I was told prior to court that I had no right to a court appointed attorney, could not represent myself, and would not be allowed a trial by jury... all of which absolutely blew me away. that's not the justice system I always thought existed.

The only thing that's missing is her claim that she "thought it was a relative (the child) with an unknown man (me)". She was about 55 years old so when they got the plea out of me I ended up with assault on the elderly. Had I not taken the plea deal, the judge informed me after sentencing that I would've gotten 2 years in state jail. This is Texas. This is small town justice. This is no bullshit. I can make up better stories, but believe it or don't. Before this happened to me I don't think I w…

I had to plead guilty to an assault charge after a deranged woman opened the back door of my car and tried to rip my 6 year old daughter from her seat, in a Walmart parking lot with 100 cameras and dozens of witness. Apparently when I pulled her away from my child it left hand prints on her shoulders. She was never even charged with anything but my life has been destroyed by having that on my record, jail time, fines to the court and a payout to her, and was on probation for an entire year. Oh y…

Define rape and mutilation however you want. You people are ruining men's rights activism the same way feminism got hijacked by it's current twisted perception of reality. Circumcision is rape. Petting my dog is rape. Starting my car is autoerotic rape. Drilling for oil is rape. Not drilling for oil is rape. Eating a hot dog is definitely rape. Taking a shower after work? Might as well be getting raped after work. Plugging in my phone charger is rape. Forgetting my password is rape. Farting is r…

What, are you, still, doing here??? Dude, go! Get, out! Listen, Germany has a great assimilation program. They teach you German and give you a 4 year education, free. Sadly, my wife was also prostituted as a child and raped by her stepfather for 10 years, until she was 12, and even later as a teen she was drugged and abused more than once. She was also called a liar, told that she dreamed it, or had it argued to her that she somehow consented. It breaks my heart everytime it comes up, in conversation or in passing thought, and I still feel a rage in me when I see the the scars on her back from the unimaginable things she endured. Even people like me need to b…

No. I didnt feel raped at the time. I had it beaten into my mind, my whole life, that men cannot be raped by women. It took a lot of growing up and maturity for me to eventually realize the true nature of what happened and by that time I was able to self council and handle the anger and various other emotions without the need for professional help.

The title tells the gist of it. I blacked out and when I came to there she was. She had previously been very persistent throughout the school year and I was never going to go for her. Period. Ever. (I know, it's odd for some people to consider a man has standards, right?). So after this occurred, it was simply an embarrassing memory that I had to keep to myself. Notifying anyone of this would only draw ridicule and laughter, and in a single breath the tables could've been turned if she claimed I…

This would never work if it were a man who was deceived by a cross dresser into thinking it was a woman. Instead of sympathy he would get ridiculed, laughed at, and maybe even convicted of some sort of hate crime if he had to forcefully remove himself from the situation but he'd certainly be called a bigot for refusing sex.
