This aligns well with my views, I always strive to show through my actions not my words... but this has worked against me in the past being categorized as "quiet" and in a previous company being told that I did not voice my accomplishments and wants enough, in other words did not bring my ego out enough. Lately I have been dealing with a similar situation where someone's ego is all out and about and taking all the attention, I am being told to follow this person's lead because of their ego talk …

In the first months of starting to learn about the Red Pill I went through a 'rough patch' and eventually broke up with my now ex-girlfriend. After the matter I wondered what had gone wrong if I had learnt, and what I realized is that this a journey, it really is a matter of reading the side bar, putting in practice what you read, and learn from the situation. Use the Side Bar and Search Bar (or Google), it is likely that someone has gone through a similar situation. Read, practice, and learn. A…

AWALT. She definitely is not LTR material, but why not plate her? If that is what you want...

/u/redpillschool, thank you for this post. Ever since I started reading TRP my LTR has improve signifcantly, but there is always something that gets me upset and it is what you describe here, it's almost like you knew about my LTR... I will have to remind myself--she is like a child, treat her as such. Thanks for the paradigm shift.

I don't think your age is a problem, however, the mantra is "Read the Sidebar", and actually read it (it will take a long time). I would advice you to abstain from asking more questions (other than specific questions for which you have /r/asktrp) about TRP until you've finished reading the whole sidebar, many of you questions you will have are answered there.

I have not finished the book yet, but I found that I like Donovan's definition of masculinity: is about what men want from each other." Reading about the first few pages of the book reminded me of Law 18 from the 48 Laws of Power. Isolation is dangerous, when we isolate from other men we are risking our masculinity, even Glover talks about it in No More Mr Nice Guy, where he mentions that Nice Guys isolate from other men because "they are different", "they are not one of those jerks", in the pro…

I've been around here a couple of months and I always keep this in mind, however what would you recommend to find likeminded people? I almost feel like I am going insane not being able (or allowing myself to do so) with someone, and from the hints that I've dropped to my circle of friends and doubt most of them, if any, would swallow the pill...

It is, and I usually prefer it over real books/paper, but I am a really slow reader and even some times with audiobooks what I would do is listen to it while I read, which helps me stay concentrated while saving time.

Consider reading /u/HumanSockPuppet's Guide to Managing Your Bitches if you haven't. It really depends on your situation and what you want, you can next her or demote her (i.e. from Significant Other to FWB)

Just think about this: How long until she scams you?

I am currently in the other side of a similar situation, there is this girl that has flights to see me basically on command and her fiancé/husband (not really sure nor care) has no idea... She justifies it by saying that she has to keep the appearances to her family and social circle and make her eventual break-up seem "normal"... AWALT I make fun of the guy all the time and she loves it... trust me you don't want to be that guy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
