A major gripe that this sub has is that in America (and Canada, I believe), sexual assault cases are handled by the universities, not law enforcement, and with the universities is a much much lower standard of evidence to kick the student out and ruin their academic career, all while not allowing them to face their accuser, provide evidence, have a lawyer, etc.

As a college student, I have considered it. Generally I refrain from having sexual encounters with girls who are rather drunk, outside of a girl who I'd had sex with multiple times before.
