15	"Poor" shaming while riding public transit They'd rather sit by themselves in traffic for an hour, after buying a car and paying insurance on it, than take public transport and be where they need to be in 20 minutes. 20 mins? Eh, that's not really the case in NYC. It can take you an hour sometimes to go from from one part of Brooklyn to another part Brooklyn and that's hoping that MTA is on time.
