She would shout and the classroom would fall deathly silent. It certainly worked to instill some discipline. I kind of wish we had teachers like that back. Statistically, most viewers won't be embroiled in gender-politics. It doesn't serve disney to make a statement on equality here. Most people love a good wedding. It's a rite of passage that has served society for hundreds of years. But the legal sides are just preposterous. In many countries it's still a romantic show of commitment but in america, of course, it's a financial con. It's asking you not just for commitment, but to relinquish all sense and make yourself extremely vulnerable to abuse. It's been corrupted. 3	American women practicing circumcision. In the USA, it is usually OB-GYNs who perform circumcisions. Over 80% of them are female, meaning women are the ones doing most of the cutting, contrary to feminist lies about men being responsible for their own oppression. As a foreigner, this is just incomprehensible. It's horrifying. I keep reading about this gross invasion of bodily autonomy being forcefully insisted upon. The way it's so casual is just psychotic. This is the crux, I believe. Eliminate circumcision as a default procedure -- make it purely opt-in without all this weird normative encouragement -- and the practice will die out in a few generations. 0	It's called Male genital mutilation. I think equating them is reductionist. It diminishes the true inhumanity of hacking off a woman's clitoris (and more) in order to ruin her ability to enjoy sex, as a means of control. I'm staunchly against circumcision and would never compromise on that, but they are clearly not equal in terms of intent or severity. 10	It's called Male genital mutilation. Yes but phimosis is not a thing in infants, it is the natural state and the foreskin becomes retractable later on. If it doesn't resolve itself during puberty, then it's an actual problem and, sure, circumcision might be warranted. Wikipedia puts the incidence of phimosis at 1%.
