The way most of your posts tell men to "stop crying" and "quit whining" is a perfect example of toxic masculinity. You don't think any man could possibly have a problem because you think all men ARE the problem. Woman = good. Man = bad. You have a very narrow and simplistic world view.

Pretty sure it's a reference to the movie "Stripes" starring Bill Murray and Harold Ramis about a couple of misfits who joined the Army. I chuckled at the reference anyway. :)

Whether this is right or wrong I can't say, but what I would be inclined to do in that situation is to notify her friend that you are contacting the insurance company to report the fraud. If you were fired on the sole basis that you were male, then that is sexism. Doesn't help though that even Merriam-Webster chooses to define it as: 1: prejudice or discrimination based on sex; especially : discrimination against women http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sexism Especially discrimina…

I'm a huge fan of Star Trek and Patrick Stewart as well. Wasn't trying to paint him in a bad light, but hard to ignore that comment. I do wonder if he and others with this stance on the issue have ever contemplated the fact that it is not only a disservice to men (Women = Good, Men = Bad), but a disservice to women. "As a woman, only a man can fix your problem." It portrays them as a weaker sex. He's obviously very passionate about his stance. He listed it as the number one thing he's done in hi…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
