I start by acknowledging how they feel and say it’s ok to miss mom, and then I let them know I miss them when they aren’t here too. I then try to shift focus on the things we have planned for today. I’ve also seen it go the other way where they tell me they don’t want to leave and go back to moms. | 2 | Got punched in the faceYes, definitely call the cops and file a report. Take pictures if you have any bruises. I’ve had a similar incident where I was punched by my ex and regret not filing a report as she tried to deny it when it was brought to in court.
