As a French dude I sometimes feel out of touch with Reddit's culture. Also their fanatical devotion to sports which aren't football(the one payed with feet) or rugby since childhood sometimes leaves me perplexed. They also don't feel bad about making bigoted statements when talking about other cultures. Some Americans like to feel that they're always right, that their ideology is the best and that their culture is supreme even though their country is far from an egalitarian society and regularly…

Dude, this photo was taken without make-up, from a bad angle and with her making a grimace. Almost everybody, even the good-looking ones would appear unattractive under those circumstances. Also, most of the phots you see in magazines are photoshopped. Most often they are done to enhance appearance. Sometimes, they are used to downplay physical attractiveness, especially in those articles about celebs without make-up. Check out /r/PrettyGirlsUglyFaces and you'll understand.
