Awesome. I remember that feeling. Now do it again, but don't wait a whole month like I did before my next approach.

I'm with you. I asked a girl out at the cinema the other day. Turns out she has a boyfriend, but I wasn't even upset. It felt so liberating just to go do it. Keep up the good work.

Try meditation as a way of slowing things down and opening your mind to really think. Maybe spend some time alone to do more evaluation.

How to Win Friend and Influence People, I'm reading it for the second time and there is a reason it's been in print for so long.

I understand where you are coming from, but confidence isn't always something people just have. Confidence is learned, whether intentionally or not due to environment. For someone who used to be not so confident, I can tell you that practicing confidence and looking fake for a while will build confidence in someone who has yet to learn the skill of being confident.

Go read How to Win Friends and Influence People or The Magic of Thinking Big. Both books talk about two things that are important in this conversation. 1. Smiling and practicing your smile in the mirror. 2. Action and feeling are interconnected. Usually people see this are actions are a result of your feelings, however, your feeling can be a result of your actions. Thus, smiling with make you feel happier, and you look more approachable, likeable, and attractive.

I would disagree and say that smiling is always a good option. At first, forcing a smile will seem fake and probably look fake, but after you do it enough, smiling will become genuine. Then is just becomes second nature to smile at anyone you make eye contact with. Also, smiling has been written about in almost every self-help book out that. Studies show that smiling does make you more attractive and more approachable/likeable.

It's not "immoral." If you don't feel like you don't having any baggage from the relationship then go for it. Also, YOURE NOT IN THE RELATIONSHIP ANYMORE.

I went through a similar situation, it was a bit more fucked up but I went through the APPROACH NR 2 and I'm still unproductive, not depressed anymore thankfully. It was a bitch though going through the depression and unproductivity.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
