Fair is only fair. Generalize first you'll get generalized back.

I think this guy just wants to be single forever tbh, I couldn't imagine a woman wanting to date him as he invalidates her hard work and life experience because of a perceived "easy mode" that never applied to her.

I'd rather everyone stops gendering usefulness and necessity. Men should respect women's work as much as the other way around, and maybe they'd see women aren't just the "lazy bitches" they claim.

Again, conflating single women with single mothers. 84% of single mothers is what percentage of women as a whole? Single women do not get child tax credit. That would require a child. Would you rather the child starve? I am a single woman and I have never been given free rent wtf? I've had to earn my money like everyone else. Gender quotas vary from place to place, but even with the quota, are you implying the people hired or admitted aren't also qualified to do so? You think they are just accep…

Not anymore than men make sweeping generalization about all women are sluts, all women are gold diggers, all women are stuck up bitches with standards that are too high, women will automatically sleep with chad, women are lazy and don't work, women are stupid, women should stay home and out of politics.. I could go on and on about the sweeping generalizations. Hell, if a man starts a business and that business fails? "Oh, well, the economy is weak, and not everyone succeeds" or "Its that man's b…

Single women do not get these benefits. You'd be surprised to find out the government doesn't care about single women anymore than single men. You're mistaking divorced/single parents, which are just a section of the population. Second section would be the disabled and elderly. Are you saying the disabled/old shouldn't get financial assistance? What tax cuts do single women get? Like, name the actual tax law that strictly applies to women.

And the guy is free to move on jf that's a deal breaker for him, but you have to consider some people genuinely change after a time. An 18-20 year old is drastically different than a 25 yearbold, who is different again from a 30 year old. To hold a woman to the same exact standard she had in her early 20s is silly. What if she tried it, and realized she didn't like it? Should she then be doomed to "put out" just because her new potential partner has hurt feelings about her past from before they …

And you're making an assumption that I'm only giving these two binary choices because that is what you want to see. I never limited to these two binaries and simply offered an example that would be considered the "ideal of modesty" by most tradfem standards. Of course there's options in between, I shouldn't have to list every single possibility for you to understand the meaning, though. An absence of evidence if not evidence of absence.

Baggy is different than "Flowy". Men's baggy clothes are hardly long enough to get caught in workout machines vs long dresses that could get caught in bike gears, turning mechanisms, not to mention tripping hazards. The comparison is disingenuous.

Depends on the person. There is no single reason why or why not someone will wear something. In the 1800s it was considered "loose" for women to even show their ankles. Thankfully we've gotten passed that, but unfortunately men will impose their perception (i.e "I find this hot") on women regardless what they wear (Turtleneck bans anyone?). Since women can't escape the leer no matter what, they may as well carry on their lives, like wearing a tank top in 65° weather, or wearing form fitting clot…

I'd argue most redpill data references (or rather their interpretation) operate more in a binary of "Slut" vs "not slut". They lack nuance and humanity, paired with hypocrisy (by design). You could also argue that men are incapable of pair bonding from the start due to their biological predisposition, hence why they fear comittement, but I don't make that argument because humans are complex being that can't be reduced to simple data, especially not simplified data. Secondly, the slutshaming come…

The only thing they care about when they block someone is the fact that person is bothering them in some way. Neither should be interpreted as romantic or "caring" in any way. Blocking and unblocking people on a whim is toxic. It should only be a last resort to cut that person out of their life permanently.

You would have cried at some point. Strictly about dating, not about your whole social life. Though, I will caution that you have to make sure they are good quality friends who actually listen to you and are there for you, as well as ensure they are not the self-pity, sabotaging types. I haven't seen anyone who didn't come into the world screaming murder and covered head to toe in blood. My experiences with men should tell me they are shallow horny dogs that only care about themselves, and yet, I am able to look past those experiences and not lump them all in with the "bad actors". We are all shaped by experiences, the difference is whether you are ready and able to take a very hard and frank look at yourself and go "you know... I get it. I get why no one wants to be around me…

Saying "Talk to the woman in question instead of assuming what she wants" is not enlightening? Saying "don't treat every woman like a carbon copy of eachother" isn't helpful? Men has more success when they can switch up their strategy based on the woman. One size fits all approaches don't work, and then they come back to have tantrums on reddit about how women are all hoes when they have tried with like.. two women, both whom reject them. The OP is asking which bar is Low, physical, emotional or intellectual. The poster I responded to made a broad generalization about a specific subset of often unattainable traits, and made the claim "All women want these specific [physical] traits". I am a woman, looking for a longterm partner where physical traits are far outweighed by other moredesirable traits (to me). Does dating end at Sex? I thought it was about forming life long relationships. Are you implying that my sexuality means that I am not allowed to desire a life partner? Am I then not allowed to desire a partner based on traits I find attractive (outside of sexually)? Do I then, not qualify as a woman, living a woman's experience? If your idea of dating is one night stands, then sure, I'd keep my nose out of it. Not my circus. When it comes to longterm dating? My voice is as valid as any other an…

Careful, you're sounding emotional. If the only thing you got from this whole exchange was "UH YOU'RE AN OUTLIER" then you have thoroughly missed the point of the exchange. People are all outliers. That's what makes them people. Diverse, with views outside of your own. He said "All women". I am a woman, thus, I am qualified to speak on the topic. My sexuality doesn't affect what I've said, nor does it change the meaning, nor does it mean I never interact with the opposite/same sex.

Its almost like women are also individuals with an infinity of combinations, and so trying to lump billions into the same 5 traits isn't going to work as well as you think. Personally, the primary trait I'd look for in a partner would be intelligence. I don't see the use in physical factors. The only relevant part of this comment worth answering is [What are girls attracted to then?] Here's a little secret, this might shock you: It depends. "Depends on what?" The woman, of course. "How do you find out?" Have an open minded conversation, and use active listening.

Except that's not how that works, but if thinking all women are cookie cutter in terms of wants and needs helps you sleep at night, sure. To someone like me, these are all shallow traits that don't matter in the grand scheme of life (except maybe money, but only because capitalism is out of control), and definitely won't matter when you die.

You are free to debate what you like. No one can legally stop you, freedom of speech ect ect. What you fail to realize is that no one is obligated to humor you, just because you chose to insert yourself where irrelevant. Specify which answer needs to be expanded on? As far as I know, we're still on the initial question. The one that ends with "?". Just because you use questions as answers doesn't make it an answer to the question.

Hmm I see. So you cannot come up with an answer to the a tual question, so instead you attempt to obfuscate by posing a question in a way that puts words in people's mouths instead. Terrible debate form. Well, no point casting diamonds before swine. Come back when you're more enlightened.

You cannot answer a question with a question. Try answering the question first, then ask your question. That's how debate works. Give it another try, I believe in you.

Except your points were irrelevant to the individual's personal experience. You wanted to make it about you, so let's talk about you. Why do you vehemently disagree with someone's personal experience? Do you have relevant insight into their lives? How long have you known them? What is your core argument? How versed are you in debate ethics? Why is your view of reality the only correct one? Do you struggle socially or are you sociable?

By "jump to conclusion" do you mean "Made a conclusion based on my pattern of comments" then, sure. Thing is though, you're showing poor form in terms of debate. What you're actually doing is obfuscation, so I doubt you're here to debate. You are exhaustingly obtuse even when people break things down to their most simple points. I read: Troll.

The men who do their part are not the ones women complain about. No woman has ever complained about a man not doing chores is he is in fact doing said chores, like dishes, sweeping, wiping counters, laundry and all the chores you mentionned you do. They typically complain about the men who do not do even these basic things, or only do them when their partner asks them to do it. Why is there never a middle ground between a pigsty and having the place deep cleaned every weekend? Most women will clean to a presentable level, what you're referring to would be considered obsessive in women's circles. There's a timing to when thinfs need to be done, and the fact you don't know that tells me you either don't clean well, or enough. Except for a long time people would judge the woman for an unkept home. There's a societal pressure to be clean and organized in tbe home so I am not sure why men don't care about these things. I have been in an open relationship because I knew my significant other had needs. Unfortunately that didn't stop him from cheating even with the parameters set in place, and was then dishonest with his sexual partners (if he could even pull them in, most of the time he couldn't). This probably colors my views that any cheating is unethical and detrimental to the relationship. Its at best, a form of disrespect to the other person.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/24 05:39 PM
3

If the spouse agrees, sure. But here's the thing, sex takes two people and relationships require constant work. If you go straight to cheating before even attempting to solve the underlying issue preventing sex then there's a bigger problem in the relationship. I am not equipped to understand the constant obsession people have with sex and its transactional nature in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/24 05:32 PM
2

Its not really a strawman, these are real scenarios where men have decided to start cheating on their spouse for "Not putting out" enough/fast enough so its a valid question to determine the parameters of what/when it makes cheating "Okay" in your view. Does the woman have to be healthy? Is it okay to cheat if they are sick/recovering? Is it okay to cheat if they are too tired from caring for a newborn/infant? Is okay to cheat if she is putting out but the man deems it "Not often enough"?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/24 05:19 PM

They do another option: Therapists. I'm not sure in what world therapists are saying men trauma dumping in relationship to mean men are not allowed to go to therapy. That's illogical. If anything, therapists should want more men to access their services to "trauma dump". That is what they are paid to help you navigate through. /r/PurplePillDebate17/02/24 10:34 AM

That will largely depend on your area. Where I live its "Boys are good at math, Girls are good at languages". Its only recently that there has been some pushback on that and starting to equalize. However because girls keep being told "women are bad at Math" its a hurdle in getting them interested in STEM and math based careers. Keep in mind this is my area, other areas may face different challenges.

I have dyscalculia, an actual learning disability. I was excellent at all other subjects. My whole life, instead of looking into why I was struggling in math I was dismissed with "Meh, you're a girl and girls aren't usually good at math". Like, verbatim. So its not a stretch that girls play dumb because its expected of them.
