But I think her point was that men ALSO betrayed Jesus, not just a women like some religious nuts like to think. Granted im just speculating, but so is everybody else here.

I think most people do realize that. Tbh, I didn't think this was being marketed as a "look, FEMALES!" movie. Is this the director making an ass out of herself? Also that's a pretty short quote, we sure it wasn't taken out of context?

Compelling content is different for casual audiences and film buffs. I would still say marvel has a formula, but they do break away from that formula and it is compelling at times. I would argue Infinity War is genuinely a good movie with stakes that have a real weight to them, which considering half the world dies including some beloved characters, I'd say it's not trying to be as safe and inoffensive as possible. Also, why are that many jokes a bad thing? If it feels forced, which it does some…

Yea, but the whole massive cinematic universe is why it made so much money. People were invested. Also they started to deviate from the formula towards the end, I'd seen a couple movies and was pretty whatever on the whole thing until they started to wrap things up.

Yea cause Billies new album clearly is going for a Lana Del Rey sound.

Does that need to be said though? That's 3 of the most popular female artists of the generation, I'm sure you can understand how a lot of people wanted to see them do a song together.

Tf is this idea that if somebody defends another person it means they care if that person knows who they are? It just seems like you don't like somebody fucking with the echo chamber, so you get defensive of your position.

This sub had a lot of crossover users with r/incels when it was still active, so they're not far off.

She's still hot, but k.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/11/19 08:37 AM

She's good in The Room. I haven't seen Captain Marvel, but marvel writing can be hit or miss (Thor is a good example for both). From what I've heard, she didn't have much to work with.

It's a neck beard sub for sure. IIRC's a graph showing the cross over of certain subs and this was grouped in with incels, MGTOW, and The_Donald. So, a lot of dudes who, sadly, have misplaced anger. Brie can be unlikable at times, but I've also seen her be likable as well. Like all humans she has flaws too.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/11/19 08:31 AM

You think if she doesn't step down from her role, because of some dorks on the internet, she's fucked? She probably doesn't even know this petition exists, and neither does 99.9% of movie goers.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/11/19 08:28 AM

Not saying Brie isn't annoying, but you sound just as deep as she is, just in the opposite direction.

No, white people are the victims in hollywood, we must complain! And then when other people complain about wanting more representation, we'll complain about them complaining!

Post pics of you
/r/PussyPassDenied14/11/19 08:21 AM

For real, she's legit good in The Room. But subs like this are filled with anti-sjw people, so "feminist bad". This doesn't even fit "pussy pass denied".
/r/PussyPassDenied14/11/19 08:21 AM
-15

I don't think it's because it's a woman, I think it's because it's the parent of the daughter. We're also only seeing one side of the story. I think it's probably true, but I don't really think this is a men's rights issue.

Sometimes I think this sub is satire.

Make it happen now dude!
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:57 PM

Exactly, 9 out of 10 posts that reach the front page are things like this, or extreme feminism.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:54 PM

They're anecdotal. Did you even look at OP's "article".
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:53 PM
0

https://www.fatherly.com/health-science/wellness/romantic-advantages-for-fat-guys/ These double standards are anecdotal and not a problem with society as a whole.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:52 PM
0

https://www.fatherly.com/health-science/wellness/romantic-advantages-for-fat-guys/ This also shows up though, so he really doesn't. Plus OP's article isn't even an article. https://visual.ly/community/infographic/lifestyle/10-reasons-why-men-dont-find-fat-women-attractive Here's also another "article" saying why men aren't attracted to fat women. Not even sugarcoating the word "fat". On top of that, there's several people in this comment section alone that refer to fat women as land whales.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:44 PM
0

Yea, cause pointing out somebody is getting upset about something dumb, means that you are upset too.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:43 PM
1

Here's an article about how a good chunk of women like chubbier dudes, it even has statistics and not ancedotal experiences. https://www.fatherly.com/health-science/wellness/romantic-advantages-for-fat-guys/ But hey, how can we pretend to be the victim with 2 seconds of googling?
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:41 PM
1

Not really, it's not hating on fat people. R/choosingbeggers makes the most sense, because this isn't even an article, it's from the whisper app where people can anonymously say anything.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:39 PM
0

So 3rd wave standards must include men complaining about an "article" like this one then?
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:37 PM
3

I guess "land whale" is just a joke too, huh?
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:35 PM
4

And there's plenty of guys in this comment section referring to overweight women as "land whales".
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:33 PM
1

Then upgrade yourself.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:31 PM
1

The irony is how OP is complaining about men being called "overweight" to a bunch of people calling fat women "land whales".
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:31 PM
0

Cognitive dissonance, so they can feed their victim complex.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:29 PM
1

Have you looked at the article? This is legitimately anecdotal evidence. There's statistics that say otherwise too, just use google, not cherry picked "articles" for your information on how society feels.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:24 PM
1

I think fat shaming works for some people, but definitely not all. I don't think you should be attacked for your physical appearance, and there's better ways to motivate.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:21 PM

https://www.fatherly.com/health-science/wellness/romantic-advantages-for-fat-guys/ Here's another article with actual statistics on how quite a few women love fat guys. Fuck that though, let's play the victim instead. R/mra has legit reasons to exist, there are problems with our society, but this isn't one. My biggest issue with this sub is that posts like these make the front page more than actual men's rights issues.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:19 PM
1

It's almost like one person wrote this article, not every overweight girl, and most people have common sense and don't have the logic from your last sentence.
/r/MensRights08/10/17 07:06 PM

Yea makes you guys seem like the enjoyable people that you are.

Lol you got downvoted. This subs users don't even seem to know what ppd means.

She was being an asshole, but in no way is she trying to use the fact that she's a female to get out of this. You can find several videos on YouTube of males doing similar shit with the same reaction.
/r/PussyPassDenied05/09/17 07:34 AM
-2

And MRA is the same thing, except for men.
/r/MensRights04/09/17 09:22 AM
11

Oh Jesus Christ, yea what a cunt for standing up for what she believes in. Go ahead and tell me how "all feminism is cancer" now.
/r/PussyPassDenied30/08/17 09:17 AM
8

He is a hardcore PC gamer that also posts to r/mensrights. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, but those two plus hating feminism tends to be the trifecta of the neckbeard persona. Which is one dose of depression away from being an incel.
/r/PussyPassDenied30/08/17 09:11 AM
11

Woah sick burn bro
/r/PussyPassDenied30/08/17 09:06 AM

It's on r/all. Besides, most people subscribed to this sub to see a pussy pass getting denied, this isn't that.
/r/PussyPassDenied30/08/17 09:01 AM
0

Jesus Christ, you guys are fucking goobers. You're literally saying the name defines everything about the message. Go outside and talk to real people for once, tumblr doesn't represent feminism.
/r/PussyPassDenied30/08/17 08:57 AM
29

Yea but how are they going to get angry at entire groups of people if they realize extremists are a minority?
/r/PussyPassDenied12/08/17 12:19 AM
1

I agree, but the person in this post is genuinely a cunt. It's not a cass of PPD though.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/08/17 12:17 AM
11

Because this isn't PPD. The person in the post is a SJW bitch, but she's not trying to use her gender to get a pass for anything. Edit: After looking through these comments I saw one person say "this isn't PPD" and it was pretty far from "screeching". It's almost like you're complaining about a non-problem.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/08/17 12:15 AM
15

You're cringey
/r/PussyPassDenied30/07/17 07:17 AM
1

Lol, a very small whiney minority rants about that shit. You guys are often the male version of them. I support you're core message, but 90% of your front page level posts are just bashing feminism.
/r/MensRights18/06/17 07:35 AM
8

Nope, they're definitely posts like this. I agree with your core message, but the constant bashing of another group, who's core message is very similar to yours, is obnoxious. You guys come off just as pathetic as those feminist trolls with these posts. Let's fix what's wrong in our society, not bicker about who's group is right.
/r/MensRights13/06/17 06:23 AM
-4

Half of the users at r/mensrights aren't about bringing awareness and changing laws that have a bias towards men. Most of the posts that get upvoted are just anti feminism. They're literally the same whiney losers as feminazis, just the opposite sex. I'm all for feminism and men's rights core messages, but this is becoming another safe space of just talking shit on the opposite sex. Here's one of the biggest mgtow youtube guys, look at those comments and tell me this isn't misogynistic. https://…

Everybody is lying about rape? Wut. This sub has turned into r/redpill more and more each day.
/r/PussyPassDenied10/06/17 07:07 PM
-2

You really think the MAJORITY of rape cases are made up? Jesus Christ, I get being skeptical until there's solid evidence but just being like "most of them make it up" is some r/redpill shit.
/r/PussyPassDenied10/06/17 07:05 PM
0

So do you think this post is a pussy pass being denied?
/r/PussyPassDenied06/06/17 05:00 AM
1

I'm all for this, except that last sentence. Women not wanting to be groped has nothing to do with feminism. Sure, the extremists will always scream shit like "male previlage", but most sane people would completely agree.
/r/MensRights05/06/17 08:07 AM
-14

What is with this sub being so against feminism? I get pointing out shitty things like how huffpost spins statistics to push an agenda, but you guys have such a us vs them mentality. This sub isn't about exposing things we need to work on as a society for men's rights half the time, it's about shitting on feminism. As if women don't deal with their own shit too. We should be helping each other out, not attacking each other.
/r/MensRights03/06/17 08:20 AM
1561

That's not what feminism is. If you base any ideology off of the most extreme members, you're going to have a bad view of it. That includes the Men's Rights movement.
/r/MensRights08/05/17 07:59 AM
1

It isn't one, at this point this sub is just about shitty humans who are also women.
/r/PussyPassDenied04/05/17 04:57 AM
2

Yea but how will we defend our racism if we pay attention to how other races act in similar situations such as poverished communities?
/r/PussyPassDenied04/05/17 04:55 AM
4

Not weird, pretty common. Most dudes like shorter girls. I don't get heightism, other than it being a double standard like in this scenario, even though this one is fake.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/04/17 02:17 AM
7

Cause it's fake. It's showing a double standard that does exist, but using a fake text exchange to do so.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/04/17 02:14 AM
7

Because this text seems fake. That doesn't mean it doesn't actually happen, but faking something and presenting it as "proof" never looks good.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/04/17 02:13 AM
0

Or he's lying, or he's not. We don't know. Not saying this didn't happen, but the vast majority of people would be polite in this situation.
/r/MensRights20/04/17 02:41 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
