PPD is a good place to discuss gender issues. Especially when dealing with the opposite sex. Or same sex if gay.

I'm single for the 1st time in over 10 years. Middle aged guy & 100% support men's rights. But honestly, all my best friends are ladies. They've got my back emotionally. They tell me they love me. Help me meet single women. Make sure I get home. My guy friends just want to watch NFL @ B Dubs & get drunk. Girlfriends are literally the bomb.

It's funny how gay guys get along with straight men & women. And are fun to hang out with. Unlike most lesbians.

I might be attracted to 20% of women between 21-50. I'm out @ the bars often & group activities. 20% of those women are probably single & looking to date. After being in a relationship for a long time. My odds aren't very good. But being alone is better than dating someone who doesn't do it for me.

Here's my take on red flags as a middle aged guy: I'm newly single after 10+ years. Used to being totally honest. Met someone recently, who is around my age. She liked me & asked for my # & Facebook. We chatted for awhile the next day. We had much in common, including not having kids. I felt comfortable & probably told her too much about my life. She kept up with the conversation, was mostly about music we both liked & her dogs. Asked her out on a date. She didn't respond. I'm a red flag or she'…

Reading the comments about middle aged guys wanting 18 year olds got me thinking. I'm 44 & that's way too young for me. My friends & I go out a lot. College aged women always ask us to buy them drinks or shots. We do sometimes if we're drunk. I might let one of those girls take me home. But way too young for me to actually date.

If you're a member of r/femaledatingstrategy sure. Women are always the victim & can't do any wrong. Elsewhere on Reddit most women are basically same as guys. Pretty realistic. Same holds true with red pill men & obviously incels. Men are the victims. Women always suck etc. Most guys over 21 don't live in mom's basement.

From a reality perspective, there has to be more older women & uggos on Bumble. Compared to traditional dating apps like Match. Otherwise, there would be no reason for most to want to be the relationship chaser. I was on Match & OkCupid many years ago & had good luck. Met my ex & we were in a long term relationship. I'm not going to try online dating again. Feel like I am too old now & frankly I am just too picky.

Nu Metal was final rock music innovation. Popular 20 years ago. Post Grunge was derivative.

Most new music is shit especially rock or pop or country. New hip hop isn't any better but the lyrics are funny.

I'm single for the first time in many years. You hit the nail on the head. Online dating wasn't this bad 10 years ago. Free sites like Okcupid were still good. I met my ex on there. Now it's a free for all clusterfuck. Apps want you to pay to use any real features. I gave it a shot & paid for a month. But it was mostly worthless. I'm a professional engineer & around an 8/10 looks wise. Women in real life always tell me I'm hot. That means nothing online. I probably got more likes & messages than…

I'll bite & judge some Hollywood women. Hot: Katherine Heigl & Mandy Moore. Average: Brie Larson & Elizabeth Olsen. Hideous: Rosanne Barr & Aidy Bryant.

It's the same women who say they want a relationship like Jim & Pam from The Office. Yet are looking for love on Tinder.

Unless you are movie star hot this will not work. Might get you banned too.

Gotta keep em escalated. But seriously just be honest with her. Hopefully she feels the same. If not you can move on.
