1	The struggles of having a foreign name Gotcha. If I were you I'd make a bit of a joke when you introduce yourself just to put them at ease. Hey I'm "Karan like Karen but masculine" or "My parents wanted to be tough so they gave me a girl's name" idk exactly what your sense of humor is but that's the type of approach I'd take also call people out on it especially if they mispronounce it. I didn't care for the "craziest thing just happened" text as a form of reinitiating contact. It comes off kinda idk gimmicky? maybe see through? I mean it got her talking but I think that was more a result of how you handled her responses than your intial text. Has she responded to the last one?
