I’m totally aware of that. Except they never actually say that to me I.e “I have a bf”. I just always find out they the grape vine.

Getting emotionally attached seems like something totally out of my control. It doesn’t get easier the more it happens…

Did you actually “ask her out” (if so, what did you say?) or just talk to her? Sometimes rejection can be a good thing because you can reflect on what you may have done wrong, and improve/refine it. However, I also do believe sometimes being rejected is just out of your control too.

Some define confidence as willingness to fail. So it really depends how you look at it.

Your goal is to get them talking about themselves (cuz women love to talk about themselves). Only talk about yourself when they ask. Don’t come off too cocky. Be humble.

YES! That’s brilliant!! Thanks bud I needed this!! Hmm…

What? Of course I care if she has a bf cuz I like her! And I don’t want to set myself up to get hurt again like the last 5000 times. So why not just ask straight up?

What do you mean I will come off “uncalibrated”? It just happens to me too many times that I’ve had enough of it. I meet a girl, we flirt, text, slowly escalate, good signs…then boom. I find out she has a bf. I’m sick of it. Also, can you tell me what might be going on here: so we’re in the same class and I ask for her number. I said “hey do you think we can exchange phone numbers?” And she goes “oh” and kind of hesitates, but she does write it down for me. It really caught me off guard that may…

But she’s my classmate and she’s attracted to me and we flirt every day..

She’s my class mate that I see multiple times a week, and she very clearly is attracted to me and we flirt in class. Maybe I should have included that in the post but the fact she’s taking so long to respond doesn’t seem to fit the situation.

Are you saying not to use direct game? So indirect?

I got the ultimate shit test story lol So, a few months ago I went to my doctors for my yearly physical. The nurse there who always takes my vitals is a cutie that I’ve been flirting with every time I’m there. She’s super hot, and not in a classy way, but you could tell she’s definitely a party girl. Well this time, she was instructed to give me an exam by asking me a few dozen questions that were health related. So we’re in the room alone, and she asks me questions like “how many hours of sleep…

Well I was thinking of saying “hey we should go eat lunch and talk after class…I’d really like to get to know you better..” Nah?

I dunno.. I feel like I’d have a better chance by chasing her a bit and showing her interest before I ask her out. But maybe you’re right..

You didn’t build enough attraction for her, so she moved on. The fact she actually got back to you and chatted was good and meant she was considering you. But the ghosting in no bueno. It’s ok kid..these things happen. This is how you get good with girls, you keep getting rejected and eventually you’ll get better and better.

I have this problem too. They just want attention and validation. I’ve had girls throw themselves at me basically only to find out later they have a bf. In social environments, girls are absolutely have egos and are competitive towards each other at the “attractive guy in the room”. It really baffles me at times but I’ve learned to not give them any attention and asking them direct if they have a bf. What I usually say is “hey out of curiosity what’s your relationship status so I know?”. So yeah…

Don’t listen to this guy. that is the worst advice I’ve ever heard….the shit people say on these subs… You know what you’re suppose to do? NOTHING. She shows cleavage? Don’t be afraid to get caught looking but act like it doesn’t phase you.

I’ve somewhat been in a similar boat as you. I’m 32 and considered a “bad boy” and spent my entire 20’s being in really bad and unhealthy relationships with girls with daddy issues, who were bad for me. I’m trying really hard to meet a chick that i really connect with and have a healthy relationship for once, but for some reason I was still attracting hoes with self esteem issues. Then I finally came to a realization, I have to let go of this “bad boy” type image I’ve been. I’ve been dressing di…

I’m in law school and I usually don’t use the “I’m a future lawyer” card with chicks unless it’s someone I’m really trying to impress. I don’t want a girl that only likes me for my status but is quick to divorce me and take half my shit. Fuck that.

Completely normal. The only way to overcome nervousness like this is to keep doing it (and do it a lot) so much so that you become kinda desensitized. Eventually your internal voice will start to say “don’t sweat it, you got this”. So basically, just face your fear and get thru it.

Get away from the cocaine and run away. Leave it be. You’ve just opened a Pandora’s box of possibilities and none of them are good. You cannot rely on a substance to make you a better person. Once you’re in an addiction, it takes ahold of you and you aren’t in control anymore. Just….trust me on this.

She wasn’t interested. Nothing you can do but brush it off and move on to the next target. I know it hurts but the more and more you approach and get rejected, you sort of become desensitized to it (not completely tho) and your confidence and game improves.

Ouch lol. I can totally imagine that happening. Maybe the best thing you could’ve done in that situation was to laugh and ignore it. A comment like that could only kill the vibe if you let it. If you remained light hearted, took control and kept the girl feeling comfortable (basically leading her by example basically) maybe you could’ve dodged that little “cock block”.

You WAY over thought that and messed up a good opportunity with that kind of thinking. Next time. N

What do you mean by conversation ratio? Like just because you get matched doesn’t mean you get the girl? I heard a lot of chicks just use these apps as ego boosters. There’s something sleazy about it I just don’t like… it’s like meeting a girl at the bar.

Let me guess: other dudes really go all out on their profiles eh? IRL I always get the girl. I’m not that tall tho (I’m 5’8). Lol.

Damn I knew it. I guess I’m gonna have to just get with the times. Any quick advice at the top of your head? Dude I really don’t like taking pictures of myself..

I’m your age-ish (I’m 32) but it seems like our lives are almost identical. I bullshitted and partied away my entire 20’s too. I hit a metaphorical dead end in my life but discovered my passion and went back to school. You need to find your life purpose. It’s actually a very difficult task for some.

I only read the title btw. I would hit her up to chat to give HER an opportunity to reschedule. If she doesn’t mention it, take that as a sign.

Who cares. You’re thinking too much about it. You spelled her name wrong, shows you have other options

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
