Spot on, they don't like that it exposes them and their harmful behaviour. They want to keep their own degenerare safe spaces while denying women the right of having any place where they can freely express themselves and their concerns.

Keep what to ourselves? Why is it that men refuse to listen when women say we really do not like the way we are portrayed in porn and we don't like the words you use? I totally understand men dont like to be called trash etc so I will not use that word to describe men. Why can't you listen? There are always exceptions, but if you ask the average woman whether they like the way women are portrayed and treated in porn, the answer will be NO.

Do tell me where and it still won't change the fact that men have them way more.

You're a very bad troll tbh

If there are places where men post pics of random women and call them sluts, where exactly is the consent there? What makes it so evil?

Exactly. I don't agree with everything on FDS either but at least it doesn't promote violence and mostly just tries to help women. There are some truth bombs there that many women would benefit from reading. But yeah, somehow porn must NEVER be criticised or else a bunch of men will show up to defend it till their last breath.

But that's an argument I don't quite get. It is real life, it is very much real. It affects people at least subconsciously, and misogyny in porn was not born in a vacuum.

I see this thrown around but somehow the users and commenters on those subs are still mostly men, like an overwhelming majority. The average woman does not want to be called a slut or whore or be seen as a sex toy.

Lol it's not always consenting adults, and do you think women everywhere somehow want to be called whores etc? There are even subreddits for posting leaked nudes and some random women's pics to jerk off to.

That's how it honestly seems to go. Stupid af.

Maybe they wouldn't care, but right now it seems that men on Reddit don't really see a problem with it either and rather go after subreddits like FDS. And feminists do go after it.

Fair enough, but it's safe to say that most of the men who complain about it do consume sexual content themselves and probably jerk off to videos with titles like 'whore gets choked with cock' and shit like that.

Exactly, but the sad truth is that since it's such an inherent part of male sexuality, it's going to be either really hard or impossible to change. Yes, we have rights now and gender equality has improved greatly, but what I see on male dominated forums and porn sites still tells a different story, it tells what men really think and want. No amount of feminism helps if we never talk about the core issue. Unfortunately though it can never be mentioned or discussed without men getting butthurt and…

I believe there are exceptions, but what I described is the mindset most men have, a universal phenomenon across different cultures.

That's something I'm slowly trying to learn. I think I need to take a break from men completely for a while, and if I just happen to find someone great, then great, but I wont try and search.

Yes, I'll try my best to focus on myself as cliche as it sounds. Thank you.

I needed this. I'm so tired of being the one who cares more. I just broke up with my bf and it seemed so easy for him. He was ready to just let me go. Didnt even want to talk, or fight, or try. I tried to talk and make sense of things and i regret it so much. Fuck this.

So true. I tend to fall for the shy, introverted, not so conventionally attractive types, and they always turn out to have those fantasies. Hate it.

Hahahaha so fucking ridiculous. Are we REALLY supposed to just accept that?

The question is, how on earth can I ever find a guy thats perfect? I feel like they all have some kind of porn addiction problems or at least some weird kink, of if not, something else is wrong with them.

Yea, I knew there had to be more women like me. It's only natural to not be ok with that, and tbh I feel like most women really, deep down are not. They're just lying to themselves, because we're conditioned to please men.

Lmao exactly. We are somehow supposed to be ok with our men watching disgusting, degrading porn, we should be ok with them having literal fucking folders full of pictures and videos of other women, we should be ok with them following hundreds of women on IG, the list goes on, and STILL not feel insecure or mad at all? What the hell!?

Yeah, I think it's too late now. I've seen it and I can't ever get it out of my head. It really hurts me too see the comments. It's crazy how I thought he was so respectful and considerate, yet the way he acts online is so different. Feels like I've been lied to. But I was just naive and in love, he's just like most men. They need more and more, one woman cannot satisfy them - they have this strange NEED to comment, watch, share. No matter how great the woman they're with is, it's NEVER enough. …

Thank you. Yeah, I really felt the need to explain myself but deep down I know it's not something I'm ok with. He was great, but I think it's just too big of a turn off. Makes me feel like I can never trust men again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
