That's not exactly the same... "It's exactly the same, but different." That makes it different. They don't want to hear from men, or to hear men's perspectives. If you allow men there, then you couldn't go there to hear from other women. You'd go there and hear from men and women. If I post anything positive about women on the default subreddits, or talk at all about how women are socially marginalized and sexually objectified, I start getting harassing messages spamming me very obscene and threatening things. Having a safe space where women can talk to other women (which is completely optional to even visit) isn't discrimination against men. If you want to discuss something on SRS, you can go to SRSDiscussion. If you're a woman and you want to talk to other women, you can go to SRSWomen.
