Use it as motivation to improve on your day game. In the gym you're told to not ignore your weaknesses but to target them specifically, apply that to day game.

Mark Manson wrote an article about this and this statement may make OP first point more clearer. We are responsible for experiences that aren’t our fault all the time. This is part of life. Responsibility is not the same as fault. If we come from an abusive environment it is not our fault that somebody caused harm to us, but ultimately we are responsible for how we move forward. This mindset can sound insensitive when dealing with truly horrible life events, but it's more about trying to control…

why would she still come over if she had a boyfriend? Potentially trade up her boyfriend for you She just wants sex/attention with no strings attached Her boyfriend is a cuck No boyfriend, she's just unsure of how exclusive her relationship is with someone else she's seeing There's so many possibilities as to why she's still willing to fuck you even though she might be committed to another man. Regardless I wouldn't give this person too much energy and attention. Not saying you can't fuck but ju…

There might be plenty of men willing to fuck, but that doesn't mean you have guys interested in having a committed relationship or anything. We get lots of harrassment. Definitely agree, women do have a lot more dating options, but most are not quality. Dating can very much be a numbers game though and having more options does increase your chances of finding someone worthy, but it also exposes women to more harassment. Also, men can father children till they're on AARP. Women's bodies have a li…

It's very possible that a man can have unrealistic standards towards the women he pursues in correlation to his actual social value, but this really goes for both sexes. Both sexes are guilty with having unrealistic expectations with regards to dating. It may only be my own anecdotal experience but I've known above average guys which match your description who are naturally charismatic and have great social value, but they still had less options than most women. A few minutes checking the cellph…

when the boy we like is texting us we tend to be really stressed too. I can confirm as I've had a dozen of girl-friends ask for a guy's perspective when dealing with their crushes and communication. Although it doesn't invalidate what /u/PrinceBean said. The average woman still has far more options than an above average man, and with that comes a different mindset with regards to dating. That's not a slight towards women, it's just the reality of the dating world.

According to his posting history, the kid is a very immature 18 year old so not surprised he is trying to peddle this stuff to other naive young men.

That's just Reddit for you, most guys here are super young so don't be surprised that they have unrealistic expectations about women, dating and sex.

Not having a presence on social media has pros and cons just like everything else. Investing time into social media can give a warped sense of reality, but with how ubiquitous it is not having one can alarm people. You have to understand that for many, social media is their life so when they hear you have no social media they believe you are a nobody or worse, hiding something. I have an IG and Snap, but I hardly upload anything myself. I only use Snap for memes/banter in group chats and for tal…

About a month ago I left this one girl on read. We work together and against my better judgement I went for it. As soon as I started being proactive her incessant lewd flirting came to a stop. Our texting went from flirtatious to boring and I left her on read. I didn't do this out of malice, I just though this was her nice way of showing she wasn't interested. She was not happy though. She texted me a couple days later "Why the fuck did you leave me on read? I'm mad at you" and proceeded to give…

No, you can still change and improve yourself while still retaining what makes you you. You may find that as your self improvement journey progresses that you start questioning yourself and the ideals you so strongly held onto.

I've struggled with this a lot throughout the years. Trying to be someone I'm not to attract women. Slowly I've begun to realize that this method will not only drive me crazy but will not help me in finding compatible quality women. Sure I can fake my way into seducing an attractive shallow girl, but then I'll be stuck with a person who I have nothing in common with. You just end up struggling to keep up the charade, resenting the relationship and wasting each other's time.

You can potentially come on too strong/over eager but it's probably better to see where you stand than to wait too long loose your chance or let a crush fester for too long.

keep texting to a minimum though because texting is a girls game. I agree somewhat... you don't want to become yet another "texting buddy" but the reality is you can't complete avoid texting. Use it to keep in touch, but don't rely on it to build trust and attraction. If you text too much you'll inevitably either put your foot in your mouth or just exhaust yourself trying to keep the conversation going. Getting on Facetime or calling is a good alternative, but that requires a lot of investment f…

I now understand your perspective on the matter. Dating in a country like China with your Westernized personality is definitely challenging. Best of luck in finding a rewarding relationship bro. You have a good head on your shoulders and are very in touch with your self. I'm sure it won't be easy but you seem up for the challenge.

I understand where you're coming from, not everybody is into casual sex and that's totally fine. the girls in my area, the majority of the country in fact, doesn't really suit me personality wise. Why is that? What sets your country apart? The world is huge fucking place, you're bound to run into another girl with a compatible personality. Might not be easy but the numbers don't lie. I see that you mentioned you're more aware of your emotions since your last relationship... do you think you mayb…

Pro Tip: Keep your fingernails trimmed and nicely filed if you intend to finger a girl. Nothing more of a mood killer than stabbing your girl from the inside.

You can definitely have sex without having a girlfriend. While being a great lover can help you get a girlfriend it is not a substitute for being a well rounded individual. If you're an amazing fucker but an otherwise boring guy outside the bedroom she'll just use you as an occasional free fuck.... which depending on your goals may or may not be a bad thing.

how all this is too much work and can rarely be enjoyed thoroughly by the man What do you mean by "too much work"? Do you mean too mentally or physically exhausting? Sex doesn't have to be like porn where you go through over a dozen of positions over an hour. Introduces some roleplay, tease each other and just enjoy the moment.

Ditto, on the Latin Dancing. I went to a free beginners class and even though there was over 50 guys they still had over a dozen girls dance with each other as there wasn't enough men to go around. While there was these two ridiculously handsome guys with great dance skills getting all the attention initially the rest of the experienced average looking guys were in no shortage of eager dance partners. I actually had my dance partner ditch me for the later group of guys after she realized I had t…

I feel like you summarized OP's thoughts into a more concise and less-incel sounding paragraph. OP's first 6 paragraphs were basically "don't over invest, women are human beings too"

This talks about not giving a shit. Not being phased by anything, not letting her words and actions noticeably affect you, which is what every single dating book and coach has said. IMO it's important to give a shit, just make sure you're prioritizing the important things in life. us men are also supppsed to make a move and hit on a woman but if we're not supposed to be affected by her, wouldn't asking her out show the opposite? Putting yourself out there and being direct in dating shows that yo…

It's very likely that in both of our situations our actions contributed to an undesirable result, but at the end of the day if a woman is truly interested she'll ignore a few shortcomings. Any healthy relationship you enter in life is going to require full participation on both fronts. You can't only dwell on what you did; if she wanted the relationship to work out she would've put equal effort. Like you said it could very likely be situational. Sometimes you make all the right moves and it stil…

Take it from someone who is a two weeks removed from a similar situation, it's her loss and it's likely she's not a quality person you'd want in your life. It fucking sucks being used and developing feelings, but it's better to do deal with the pain now than months down the line. Go no contact with her, if you run in to her just be cool and platonic. Try to learn from this experience but don't dwell on it too much. I'm currently spending time with my hobbies and looking for new fun stuff to do. …

Good shit bro. Generally speaking I would be cautious of ever dating someone in the workplace (I myself have made that mistake twice), but as you mentioned you had nothing to lose. Fuck It! Sounds like you kept your cool while still being direct so once again good work. At the very least now you know where you stand, you made a move and if anything if she changes her mind before your last day you can try again.

I feel you on that one. I'm a pretty introverted person myself and love video games as well. While you can make lasting rewarding connections with online gaming, it's not the same. It's doesn't have to be physically demanding activity but we have to get out there. I myself am still struggling with this, but you realize that in order to connect with others and build an amazing social life you have to be willing to leave comfort solidarity.

Dancing (Anything from Hip-Hop to Salsa) Martial Arts (Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Boxing, Kick-Boxing, Judo) Surfing, Hiking, Painting, Running, Volunteering, Cooking, Yoga, Fishing, Rock Climbing, Music, Bowling, etc. I'm still currently trying to find my own hobbies but some great advice I got was to grab a piece of paper and write down what you always wanted to learn or do.

Great post bro, thanks for elaborating on your post from yesterday. I think Mark briefly went over this same concept in Models about being honest with your inner voice and not letting it control you from being your best. With that in mind what is the movie Revolver about?

21 as well, but ironically I've done the opposite with the same results as yours. I would catch myself texting too much, so instead of trying to find a balance would just cut off all contact for a week or two only to realizing neither approach is correct. Moderation is key.

I understand now. When somebody asks these type of indirect questions they're not really looking for a direct or reasonable answer, they're just trying to gauge your reaction. So when you say... for many girls this IS the right answer; so they aren't forgetting, because really you've already answered the "question". So what you're really saying is that by completely deflecting the question or either turning it around on them you're answering the question, because they never really wanted an hone…

I completely understand what you mean. Sometimes my friends will ask me "Where should we get lunch? What club should we go to tonight? What kind of beer should we buy? What car should I lease? I the end, I don't really care, but I guess offering an opinion even If you're not completely sure of it is better in the long run when it comes to voicing your opinions.
