Just to play devils advocate, my OBGYN is male and I'm very satisfied with him as a doctor. However, a few years ago I was experiencing discomfort inserting tampons. When I brought it up to him he asked a few questions to make sure nothing was amiss medically, then he asked in a female nurse, told her the sitch and asked her if there were any "tricks of the trade" she could empart to me. As a young woman, I would make it my business to make sure the elderly, children, pregnant women and unwell/frightened/weak men were safe before I made my exit. Chivalry, to me, applies to both sexes and obligates you to shelter and protect those humans around you who might need help. I would be only slightly more upset if a man pushed me aside than if another woman did. It's just assholery, either way.

Oh, I see. It's women's fault when men rape, because they're undersexed. But doesn't that sort of imply that men are incapable of controlling their own actions? Too weak to tell Right from Wrong? I'm going to go tell my boyfriend that he better make me a sammich or I'll nom his face off later...you know, statistically. Sigh. Let the downvoting commence.
