0	June 19th is now a national holiday to celebrate the end of slavery. I heartily agree. So are you saying that there is a difference between 'slavery' and 'literal slavery'? Aren't both the exact same thing? Slavery is owning another human as property, that slave has no rights and can be beaten without punishment. While married you can, off the top of my head, own land, vote, make your own medical choices, have schooling and choose to leave the marriage.
