I have never heard a woman speaking about men in those terms, nor have I thought about men in those terms. In my world, if I’m thinking about a man at all in terms of “romantic potential” (which is definitely not the case unless I’m actively looking for a romantic relationship at that specific moment in time-literally THAT moment. I am starting with a no/ maybe decision that is specific to “can I imagine wanting to kiss this man at some point, assuming he is a decent person?”. That’s a “maybe” o…

Social cues are one thing. Women using men paying as social capital with other women, while also not discussing those men paying or not paying (or those women caring either way) is something different…it doesn’t actually make any sense…

I understand that OP is making thing up and for some reason you’re trying to defend his fantasy 🤷‍♀️

So…an invisible, unspoken, unknown “status symbol”? Men paying for coffee or tapas is now Schrödinger’s status symbol?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 11:58 PM

Literally NEVER had that come up in conversation with other women about men we are / were dating…

Most women I know that have tried the apps (including myself) get fed up / disgusted almost immediately and delete them. It may be different for women who are just looking for hookups 🤷‍♀️.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 07:37 PM

If that were true, the apps wouldn’t be so skewed in user gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:52 AM

But if they just asked if her boobs were “real”, she could answer “yes” honestly and pass regardless of their origin…🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 01:22 AM

Implants aren’t imaginary 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 01:03 AM

As opposed to…imaginary? Of course they are real.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 12:57 AM

Does it count when they don’t remember after the ruffies wear off?🤢
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 12:27 AM

I really don’t think that’s likely to be a problem for you. I’m fairly sure women don’t want anything to do with you…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 12:24 AM

Hint: “Romantic” doesn’t mean a man who feels entitled to fucking a stranger because he bought you a burger (or anything).
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 12:23 AM

So…it’s unfair that women aren’t interested in being discount hookers for men that can’t afford actual sexworkers? The audacity of women believing that men who invite them on dates might actually be interested in getting to know them, developing chemistry, trust, common interests etc to see if they are well suited to each other. Gosh, we women are so silly!!! Don’t worry, we’re figuring it out and disengaging en masse and men are confused about why?🤔🤣🤦‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 12:21 AM

So…should women assume that any man asking her out for dinner is actually entering into a transaction of pasta primavera for sexual intercourse? If that’s the case, they should say so and save everyone a lot of time. Women (the vast majority) will just refuse dates because they aren’t interested selling their bodies. The women who agree to the date will be women who are willing to do so. (But those men probably shouldn’t be too concerned about their date’s “body count”). Problem solved 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 12:15 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 02:45 AM

I think you’re confusing me with someone else…I’ve never claimed to be asexual 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 02:42 AM

I guess you might need more in common with people than just a common sexuality to form meaningful bonds or enjoy each other’s company 🤷‍♀️. That’s not really surprising right? Pretty sure you, as a person, are far more than your sexual identity. Why would you find it weird that you need more commonality than that to feel comfortable with other people? I know we haven’t interacted with each other but I think I can tell by your comments here that you’re funny and smart and complicated and a little…

Try looking for opportunities to volunteer. Shelters, animal shelters, nursing homes, food banks. They all need help and would be thrilled to have extra hands especially when the need is so great.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 02:21 AM

Keep telling yourself that cupcake. No woman ever has sincerely found a blatantly unattractive man sexually attractive because he has money and thinks he’s hot shit. I know y’all want to believe it, but it’s just not a thing. She may put on an Oscar worthy performance and you may choose to believe it, but deep down you have to know it’s fake, right? I mean, I get wanting to believe it, but actually, seriously, in your heart of hearts? 🙄🤦‍♀️

OP agreed ahead of time to reimburse this young lady for her transportation to the date (acknowledging that it could cost her a full day’s wages) and then refused and walked away when she didn’t fuck him? That’s not values, that’s disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 02:42 AM

Are you being deliberately obtuse or are you delusional enough to interpret anything OP champions as being “values” in any civilized sense?🤔

“Values”?🙄🙄🙄🤢
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 01:56 AM

Yes, (some) men still want to own a woman of their very own, (after sampling all of the women they wants to of course). (Some) men feel that if they go to work 40 hours a week, every other minute of their lives should be catered to, exactly as they want it to be, by their quiet, smiling, beautiful women, who have no desire other than serving, with no further effort required by them. They want to be fathers insofar as it’s convenient and fun. A pat on the head, a picturesque game of catch with an…

When someone is "projecting," they are unconsciously attributing their own unacceptable feelings, thoughts, or impulses to someone else, often as a defense mechanism to avoid confronting those uncomfortable parts of themselves. You’re welcome.

How could I possibly know that? Think about what you’re asking here, dear internet stranger. If you were flirting effectively with someone who was interested (because why would you try to flirt unless she was showing clear signs of interest) it would work and they would flirt back. Clearly that is not the case, ergo, you’re doing something wrong. Either you’re trying to flirt with someone who isn’t interested in the first place and you’re too socially inept to realize it and are just annoying th…

So it sounds like you’re looking for a “vocabulary guideline ” step by step instructions to conceal your misogynistic tendencies in interactions with women and the foolproof works for everyone in every situation script for “flirting”… It’s not that people don’t want to tell you, it’s that those things don’t exist. People don’t work that way. There is no one size fits all flirting script. There are an absolutely endless list of “tells” that may show women who you really are. The fact that you eit…

If you don’t want to pay for dates and don’t want to date the women who don’t require that, don’t date🤷‍♀️. It’s not mandatory. Not sure why you expect those women to change their expectations just because you want to date them. They have the choice to not date people who don’t want the same things that they do too, as well as the choice to not date at all if they can’t find anyone who wants the same things. Again, dating isn’t mandatory.

“Traditional” women didn’t kiss on a first date, much less have sex…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 07:40 PM

Unfortunately aging doesn’t actually make it stop. I wish it did…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 06:55 PM

So you want to be able to “express your feelings” and are objecting to the fact that women have the right to “express their feelings” of distaste, disgust, disinterest, and discomfort when those men’s “expressions” are imposed upon them? You want men to be able to “go after experiences they would like” when those “experiences” require the use of women’s bodies, without those women objecting and finding it offensive and insulting…because it’s “natural”? Your feelings and urges may be perfectly “n…

I don’t care whether men choose to pursue women or not. I find it telling that you can’t conceive of expressing interest in interacting with women with being overtly sexual off the bat…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 03:23 PM

Here’s the thing, men have a harder time getting what they want and value than women would have if they wanted and valued the same thing that men want.

Again…consent is the piece of the puzzle that you guys keep missing…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 03:08 PM
-2

Ok. I promise not to be surprised. I think women in general would be pretty happy with strangers not behaving “hyper sexually”… And if a man is so socially challenged that the only way he can “pursue” a woman is be being overtly sexual before that interest is clearly reciprocated, it’s better that he not pursue at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 03:03 PM

If you don’t know the woman well enough to know whether it’s likely to be reciprocated, you should keep it to yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 02:59 PM
-5

Again…sexuality is an internal, private thing. Nobody can demonize someone else’s thoughts or feelings because they have no way of knowing what those are. Women can absolutely object to men who act on their sexual urges in ways that make them feel uncomfortable. It’s not the sexuality, it the BEHAVIOR that can be problematic. Why do some men feel entitled to behave in ways that make their unsolicited sexual urges and desires women’s problem to deal with? Your penis’s happiness may be the most im…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 02:11 PM

“Exposing his desire” is an imposition…strange men’s sexual urges should not become women’s problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 02:02 PM
-1

What does one thing have to do with the other? The fundamental problem is that you either don’t understand the concept of consent or believe that men’s sexual behaviors are women’s responsibility to manage. Presumably they were having sex with people who were consenting to that sex. What would give you, someone who was not a party to that consensual sex, any right to offer unsolicited commentary on it (without her consent). That’s very different than a man imposing his sexual desires and impulse…

I think a material difference is that cars don’t want to hurt you. They don’t hunt for victims or create situations where they can inflict damage. Cars don’t select for insecure drivers who can be manipulated into crashing and then blaming themselves for doing so. Cars aren’t trying to get something from you and aren’t deciding to damage you to get what they want. Do you see the difference?

If scientists determined that sexual interaction with men was causing women to be less fertile and that all procreation should be via artificial insemination, men’s “concern” about birth rates would vanish in a millisecond. Their new campaign would be to discredit scientists 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/25 02:24 AM
14

What it means is that women are much more aware of, and aware of the potential damage that can be inflicted on women by, predatory men than men are. Men (some) are incentivized to embrace men’s predation of naive women because it achieves their goals. They are not likely to trouble themselves with the fallout for those women because they don’t think of them at all beyond the women’s usefulness to them. Women, particularly women who have been victims of predatory men in the past, are far more lik…

If men only swiped right on women they are actually interested in, and compatible with per their own AND the woman’s stated preferences (the way most women do), and are roughly in the realm of women who might reciprocate interest, online dating stats for everyone would be better and the gender skew would diminish.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/25 12:31 AM

Just as it’s valid for women to do the same. 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 11:52 PM

Clearly you are either targeting women with weak boundaries and / or poor self esteem, or targeting insecure or immature women and demeaning them sufficiently to erode their self esteem and ability to advocate for themselves. Of course the alternative is that they don’t actually give a fig and are just wasting time with you until they are ready for a real relationship (and may well be cheating on you 🤷‍♀️). Mentally and emotionally healthy women don’t tolerate degeneracy for long unless they lit…

/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 11:34 PM

Literally EVERYONE settles for less than their “ideal”. There is no perfect partner. The appropriate balance is, is your life overall better with them than it would be without them. That requires weighing all of the factors, good and bad, If that’s true, you are good. If not, move one.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 11:01 PM

You must not be in the US. Premarital assets are considered separate property as long as they are not commingled during the marriage. Assets acquired during the marriage are considered community property in some states and as subject to equitable distribution in others. None of that is gendered. Neither is child custody. The primary caretaker (regardless of gender) is more likely to get more physical custody in places where 50/50 is not the default.

I’d say my scenarios are actually far more likely, they just don’t fit the “I can’t get laid so women are evil” agenda that some men here cling to.

If we’re making up ridiculous scenarios… maybe he’s just doing the “old ball and chain” schtick because he thinks it’s funny and doesn’t want to go into detail about why he’s not completely retiring. Women are used to being the scapegoats for their partners not wanting to get into complicated conversations. “My wife won’t let me” is a VERY common excuse for “I really don’t want to”… Maybe they both know that he will go insane sitting around the house with no reason to get dressed each morning an…

/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 10:17 AM

Here’s the thing…for years women (obligatory “not all”) have been telling men that we aren’t looking for providers / protectors. We are earning our own money and saber tooth tigers are relatively scarce. We are looking for partners to equally contribute financially, emotionally, mentally, parentally, and domestically. Some men are catching on. Unfortunately others are deciding that they aren’t really interested in that (it sounds hard right?)…and are desperately clinging to claiming to be the th…

Waiting a few years to start making mistakes in not necessarily a bad thing provided that the mistakes you make are small mistakes regardless of when they occur. Teenage romances are generally dramatic train wrecks fueled by inexperience, hormones, emotional disregulation, peer pressure, and unfocused rebelliousness. So you’re saying that more than half of the males on the planet can’t be held legally responsible for violence against women and children…and yet we are supposed to accept that men should be “leaders”? Sounds like they shouldn’t be allowed to walk free among us.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:28 PM

Policemen, firemen, and social safety nets are paid for and funded in legal tender as compensation for performing their jobs protecting and supporting everyone including women, children and men. Those funds are paid by taxpayers which include women. Why do you believe that women owe some kind of special gender based debt? Are men handing out blowies to first responders? Are oil executives fluffing tax payers in return for federal tax incentives? Are men expected to cook and clean for sanitation …
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 10:07 PM

How about this as a compromise: We won’t expect men to protect us and men agree not to attack us🤷‍♀️. Or maybe: Men agree not to claim gender based credit for the achievements and accomplishments of other men (men built society, men maintain society, infrastructure, military readiness etc etc etc) and we agree not to assign them with gender based blame for all of the atrocities committed against women and children by other men. Be careful with that “we”. Many women don’t need a man to make more money than we do. Some women don’t care at all. Some of us just want a man who is within 25% +/- of where we are so that our lifestyles are roughly aligned.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 01:00 AM

Women avoiding eye contact, not enthusiastically participating in conversations, saying “no thanks” or “I have a boyfriend/husband” ARE letting men down easy (and really hoping that they will accept it politely and leave us alone without going off the deep end…) Unfortunately there are a lot of men who refuse to be let down easy and will view anything short of a harsh shut down as an indication that they should push harder (and some won’t even be discouraged by a harsh shut down).

Yes, sex is something that people should “be able to” partake in with other people who also want to partake in it with them The “should be able to” doesn’t mean that anyone else is obligated to want to with you. I don’t think you’re remembering that the “method” you’re advocating USING to tick your virginity box is an actual human being. How is that hypocritical? I’m not saying don’t have sex. I’m saying that if two people DO have sex (as people do), men have absolute control over whether a baby is possible. That is the moment when they can absolutely and very easily refuse paternity. Why is that too big an ask? Once that sperm gets in there and an egg is fertilized, the woman either has to carry the fetus for 9 1/2 months (along with all of the physical, social, financial, and professional consequences of that) and go through p…

It’s sooooo freaking simple. You can have all of the hot wild monkey sex you want, just don’t deposit your sperm in a fertile woman’s vagina! So easy! Nobody is saying don’t have sex, sex is awesome, just don’t let the swimmers swim free🤷‍♀️. Women’s birth control tries to prevent those swimmers from reaching their goal, but obviously that isn’t always effective. You know what IS effective? Not putting that sperm in there in the first place to wreak havoc! 100% certainty. No sperm, no baby. The …

Trying to “save” a relationship after it over is an empty gesture if you didn’t do the work to nourish that relationship every day when it was healthy and before it was over. Relationships die by inches over days and weeks and years. Ignoring that incremental death and the donning your cape and valiantly performing CPR on the corpse doesn’t count…

Married and partnered men being more likely to be violent towards their partners is because they HAVE partners and are regularly behind closed doors with those women. They have both proximity and opportunity to enable their propensity. Lonely unpartnered men lack that proximity and opportunity, not necessarily the propensity. Violent men are violent whether they have a convenient target for that violence or not. The lack of proximate victims is not indicative of a lack of violent potential. Ther…

I’m not mad, just calling out the lie. It’s not that they don’t need women, it’s that they can’t handle actual women who have agency and choice and the ability to reject them or call them out for their reprehensible behavior. Most of what you just listed are personality traits…yet when women say personality matters you guys call us liars🙄.

The nuance that men fail to understand is that women can, and absolutely do, acknowledge that a man is attractive without being at all attracted to him or having any desire at all to interact with him. Attractive and Attracted are two different things. There is certainly overlap but it’s far from being a circle.

So…if women would just voluntarily have casual sex that they don’t want with men they aren’t interested in, those men wouldn’t have to lie and deceive them? So, rape-lite? That’s what you’re justifying here. Consent given under false premise is no consent at all. You’re singing from the same hymnal as the dickpocalypse dudes who tell women that if we don’t voluntarily have sex with undesirable men, they will rise up and rape us all… Repulsive. And yet you wonder why women don’t want you…🙄

It’s not the same 90% of men…women typically look for men within 5 years of their age which takes it down to about 7.5% of men. Now narrow that down to men who are single and not gay. Those that want sex would just pick up the hottest man they could find for a night and if he performs well, drop him until they’re horny again, otherwise kick him out mid coitus. Far fewer men would have sex and relationships than do now. Men would look back on today as the golden age of men’s access to sex and relationships. So you think women should volunteer to be in relationships with men that make their lives worse overall because…that’s what those men want? /r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 07:14 PM
10

The problem comes in when their complaint is that the women they want aren’t willing to be in a shitty relationship with them and are choosing to be single. They act like they’re being denied their rights because women don’t think any relationship is better than no relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:56 PM

Men’s “dating struggles” boil down to some men not being able to easily date or have sex with the women they want when those women women don’t want to date or have sex with them…what specifically do you think women can do about that?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 01:20 AM

Here’s a 100% truth for you. If a man is making a woman’s life better by being in it than by not being in it, she’s not leaving. Why would you expect her not to leave if her life is better without you?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 01:17 AM

Most women don’t use dating apps. Of the minority who do, most are hoping to actually meet someone they like. The fact that they don’t find what they are looking for doesn’t mean they are on there just for attention. I guarantee that women on dating apps would prefer not to get 90%+ of the “attention” they get.

Nobody is demanding that men do anything. Women are not insisting that men meet their standards so that they can date those men, they are just choosing to date the men who do meet their standards. Men are free to, and encouraged to, do the same thing. Nobody has the responsibility to meet anyone’s standards🤷‍♀️. You just don’t get to date the people who hold those standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/25 05:30 PM

Oh goody! Does that mean that you’re going to jump in when men here discuss “slump busters” and how some women are “casual use only” or maybe “post nut clarity”? How about all of the men who state unequivocally that women’s only usefulness is providing sex? How about all the men who advocate for using deception and “plausible deniability” re/ their interest and intentions to “get sex” from women who wouldn’t otherwise be willing?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 02:51 AM
8

Of course not. Nobody wants to be cheated on. 🤷‍♀️ The difference is that women aren’t trying to get men to change or threatening their rights, they are just stating their personal standards to date men. If men don’t meet those standards, then women aren’t interested in dating them. No harm no foul, no threats or attempts at extortion. Men seem to believe that trying to compel women to meet their standards regardless of whether or not those women want to date them is the same thing. Example: Wom…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 02:23 AM

Not at all. The fact is that the only person anyone can control is themselves. You (non-gendered) get to decide what standards a potential partner needs to meet to make them worth interacting with. Nobody gets to decide what other people should do to meet your standards. If you can’t find people who meet your standards who’s standards you also meet you have a couple of choices: Keep hoping and looking. Change your standards. Work to meet the standards of the people you want . Don’t date. That’s …
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 02:21 AM
7

Or don’t date. Up to you. If you can’t find women who you are attracted to who are also attracted to you then you have a couple of choices. Keep looking and hoping. Change what you’re attracted to. Work on yourself to be attractive to those women. Don’t date. That’s pretty much it and it not a gendered decision tree🤷‍♀️.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 02:13 AM
5

Meh, in the face of all of the “women need men as providers” and “women only want men for their resources” silliness I can see why it’s a thing 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:57 AM
4

Of course, it should be normalized in this day and age, but unfortunately a lot of men don’t understand that dynamic and desperately cling to the idea that men are “leaders” and domestic labor is women’s work regardless of financial contribution.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:45 AM
7

Here’s the difference, women are saying that if men want to date them, these are the qualities that they are looking for and if they don’t then women prefer not to date at all. Men are saying that the women that they want to date need have xyz qualities because men need to date them. Do you see the difference?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:41 AM
11

I don’t see women mentioning submission at all, just “non-traditional” division of labor that works in their relationship. The whole idea of submission is where a lot of men shoot themselves in the dick…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:36 AM
6

And are women constantly assuming that you can’t actually support yourself and should be willing to trade access to your body and unpaid domestic labor in order to survive?🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:33 AM
10

Again, men and women are absolutely entitled to any standards they want to have about the people they want to date. If someone doesn’t meet your standards, don’t date them. Easy peasy! What nobody gets to do is to try to control the actions of the people they feel should be their dating pool to ensure that those people meet their “standards”. This is not gendered. Date the people who meet your standards that also want to date you. Leave everyone else alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:16 AM
4

I suggest that you review your “sources” before making statements like that. 13% of 334 single low socioeconomically rated women in Portland? 12.55% in Subsaharan African women? A study about racial economic disparity and the prevalence of STDs in economically disadvantaged women? That is the basis for your assertion that 10-30% of single women are sexually workers?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:06 AM
3

No, because they have literally thousands of years of history of having both the right and ability to do both.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 12:49 AM
11

If women are expected to sacrifice for “the continuation of the human species”, what, specifically, are men and “society” willing to sacrifice to make that palatable to women? I don’t see men volunteering to equally participate in parenting and household responsibilities. I don’t see men eager to support the children (who are going to continue the species) that they didn’t personally spawn (and often even when they did personally spawn them).
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 12:44 AM
6

Providing $$$ is providing regardless of the chromosomes of the provider or the job. Again, why would you expect a woman to cook and clean for you. Why shouldn’t she expect you to do that for her when she is “providing” as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 12:33 AM
7

So again, you are selecting for women who obviously wouldn’t actually be interested in anything except your money and deciding that all women are doing that? Dating is obviously not equivalent to basic survival. Your dick is just not that important to anyone but you. It’s simple minded to expect that it should be.

Dating is not equivalent to housing or employment. It’s disingenuous to pretend that it is. Dating is absolutely optional. Contrary to what men whine about here, getting your dick wet is not necessary to survival. If you don’t like your options, abstain or change your value proposition until the people you want also want you, and FFS stop choosing to settle and then trying to force those women to become what you really wanted.

Most women don’t aspire to being SAHMs. It wouldn’t be practical even if they did. Most women also aren’t looking for SAHDs. That’s what I was pointing to as the middle ground that OP was missing. Again, the point is that in an equitable and egalitarian world, traditionally enforced gender roles aren’t a factor, not that there is a total gender role reversal. As an example, no, men shouldn’t have to be the ones to approach. Whoever wants something from another person should probably be the one t…

You are absolutely in control of who exists IN YOUR PERSONAL SPACE (ie/ private, not open to the public, not a business etc). You can control who has access to your home, the inside of your personal car, your body. You can’t control who shares public spaces with you or discriminate in hiring based on non-relevant criteria. You are free to leave those spaces or companies if you don’t like sharing with others but you can’t control their right to enjoy the same rights that you do.

FYI, the 99% male assailant statistic is rape (penetration) AND sexual assault.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 11:53 PM

What do you think is more common? Women lying about men sexually assaulting them or men lying about not having sexually assaulted women?🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 11:48 PM

Far more than 5% of men use sexual coercion. I would say the majority of men do and don’t see anything wrong with it…”still got laid -Ami right?”. The U.S. Department of Justice has found that nearly 99% of perpetrators of rape and sexual assault are male.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 11:35 PM

As an FYI, I think it would be reasonable to say that 95%+ of women and girls over the age of 13 have experienced sexual coercion (far) more than once (obviously not all attempts are successful). That’s a pretty normal part of being female. The nastiness / threat level varies from annoying to terrifying but the underlying behavior is ridiculously common. We get so accustomed to it throughout our lives that while it’s disappointing, it’s not even a surprise. I think one reason some men prey on yo…

In the abstract they can be separate. There are men who have undeniable sex appeal but aren’t physically attractive (Think Steven Tyler type). No, that’s not what objectification is. Objectification is the action of treating or viewing someone in a way that disregards their individuality or humanity, especially by considering them only in terms of their sexual attractiveness or availability. What I’m saying is pretty much the opposite of objectification. It’s commentary on women’s ability to appreciate that something is visually attractive without coveting it regardless of whether that attractive thing is animal, vegetable, or mineral.

If you’re looking for casual sex, the women who agree are by definition going to be part of the minority of women who are comfortable with casual sex AND are less risk averse that the women who either don’t want casual in the first place or would be open to it in theory but are put off by the risks. What you’re not really understanding is that relationships with men are optional and staying single is a valid option. Women aren’t demanding that men meet our standards in any way. We are not threatening their bodily autonomy. We are not trying to remove their rights or subjugate them into submission. We are not trying to convince them that biology demands that they comply. We just aren’t dating them. If no men meet those standards we are perfectly content to be single 🤷‍♀️ That by definition m…

In the aggregate, romantic relationships with men have been a net negative. Certainly there were amazing times and good times and I’m absolutely not saying that men are all bad, or that everything that wasn’t good was their fault. It definitely takes two either way. I am saying that I’ve been far happier and my life has been far better overall without one than with any of them.

We get to hear ad nauseam about how, if we’re not willing to have sex with men we aren’t attracted, to “there will be consequences” and about how men will just take away women’s rights or turn into roving bands of rapists and golly won’t we be sorry we didn’t volunteer as bangmaids when we had the chance…maybe they’ll start talking about “all …

Are women objecting to third spaces or are they overwhelmingly the ones who organize social events and manage social calendars? When men stop being creepy women will stop objecting. The fact is that most women DO NOT want to be approached by rude thirty men who don’t accept rejection or social cues and interrupt their day to day lives. Feminism asks men to stop discriminating against women legally and politically. To stop physically, financially, and sexually abusing, harassing and killing women and girls. Funny, women don’t seek men’s loss of basic human rights or threaten institutionalized oppression when men aren’t around to occupy our time…we actually have “interests” that improve our lives and the lives of others…🤔 Maybe those men should consider volunteering or gardening or spending quality time with friends and family instead of wallowing in self inflicted misery and trying to subjugate half the population in a misguided attempt to feel bigger 🤷‍♀️.

Ah, so it’s a “misery loves company” solution? Sounds like you (collective, not personal) just want to stop attractive women and attractive men from having the sex you wish you were having? So that you don’t feel left out? Is that it? Make everyone sexless so it doesn’t feel as lonely?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 10:04 PM

So start a pen pal service 🤷‍♀️. Women already respond to men that they are interested in. You’re asking women to spend time and attention chatting with any man who wants them, even knowing that those women will NEVER want to date them? I’m pretty sure AI can already do that, why do women need to?

/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 09:21 PM

If relationships and marriage were mandatory you might have a point but men are kinda shooting themselves in the dick here because women are increasingly disinterested in either casual or commitment, are far less tolerant of men’s shenanigans, far less willing to settle or compromise and more and more are just opting to prioritize themselves and deprioritize men and relationships if they don’t suit their needs.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 08:52 PM

Actually I am. Adults (barring severe mental illness or developmental disabilities), while subject to hormonal influence on their emotional state, are capable of policing their own behavior. Some choose not to when they think they can get away with it without adverse consequences. Feelings and actions are different things. One doesn’t control the other. That’s true of both men and women.

I don’t actually give a fig what my “probabilities” are. What possible difference would that make? The question is am I happier with a specific man or without him. I chose whichever leads to my greater happiness. That’s it, it’s that simple. As it stands, I’m pretty darned happy by myself and have been for 5+ years now and don’t have any reason to want to change that, so the bar for me to want to get involved with a man is pretty high. The “probabilities” of that occurring are likely very low an…

Here’s the thing. By being single I can have even lower chances of being abused, manipulated, beaten or killed (also not aware of ANY evidence that unattractive men are less likely to be violent). I can protect and provide for myself without having to endure a lifetime of sexual misery and disgust. If you think some men being attracted to fat women is a recent phenomenon, I invite you to peruse history and art… if anything, the current standards for fairly extreme female thinness is the anomaly.

Why would you expect women to “give a chance” to men they aren’t attracted to? Do men regularly do that for women (not talking about “slump busters”, talking about legitimate love and relationships and family)? Then men should stop whining about not getting any matches 🤷‍♀️. They are spamming women who aren’t interested instead of actually paying attention to the women who might be. When I have a profile up I am very specific about exactly what I’m looking for including a firm distance limit. I get endless likes and messages from men far outside that limit. Money / security / lifestyle, that’s pretty much it. The vast majority of women do not experience “arousal” of any kind at first sight. We might meet a man and consider him a “maybe” (it’s possible if everything else aligns) or a “definite no” (the idea of kissing him is and will always be icky) at first sight, but this visceral lust / instinctual arousal isn’t really a “thing” for most women. So yes, men need to hit the “maybe” threshold to have a chance but there’s really no immediate physical lust going on at first sight 🤣.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 12:52 AM

Here’s a bit of free advice, no woman who is upset and crying secretly wants you to shove your hands down her pants. Sexually preying on women because you think they’re vulnerable enough for you to get away with it is a shitty thing to do and if you claim that wasn’t what he was doing you’re either lying or lying.

So… it appears that you’re completely abdicating any responsibility that men should have for their own behavior? Amazingly the majority of men manage to navigate society without medical castration without being rapists, catcallers, offenders, or creeps. Somehow these men treat others with respect, value consent, and embrace their own sexuality without violating laws or boundaries. They control and own their actions without trying to place the blame for their choices on women or “uncontrollable i…

But here’s the thing, women aren’t trying to compel men who “aren’t enough”, or any men really, to be with them. Women aren’t threatening those men’s basic rights or fantasizing about the downfall of society and the rise is anarchy when those men will be forced to be with them. Women just aren’t choosing to be with those men. Men are absolutely free to treat women who they feel are “too much” exactly the same way. Women would generally be thrilled if that was the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 09:19 PM

So…the part you’re criticizing is that we also want to be physically attracted to our romantic partners? You’re advocating for some kind of pseudo “Love is Blind” relationship selection process where instead of not being able to see the other person, we just ignore everything except what they say? Would you still expect women to want to have sex with those men? Would men be similarly “blind” to everything except women’s words?

Body positivity centers women largely because it was promoted by women in response to dangerous societal pressures on women to be unhealthily thin. Legally? Of course not. Better that 100 guilty go free than one innocent convicted and all that. Socially? Absolutely different. Those 100 guilty who escaped legal repercussions should absolutely face social and societal repercussions. I assume you’re referring to rape and sexual assault? Only about 25% of rapes are even reported. Of that 25%, 2-8% are false accusations, so .5% to 2% of total rapes are false accusations. I would say that her picker is broken and she isn’t cynical or skeptical enough. Some women (people) are in love with the idea of being in love and they view sexually aggressive men (or women) and their intentions and interactions through rose colored glasses, getting hurt repeatedly but always believing/hoping that the next time is real. For most people, life experiences fix that pretty quickly (one reason some men go for very young women - get ‘em before they catch on…). Interestingly, some me…

There’s no gotcha. I was hoping to lead you to understand that people (men and women) can want to be appreciated for a part of themselves, when they freely offer that part, without being open to being valued for only that part of themselves or having others feel entitled to that part. Just as some men (and women) want to be appreciated for their financial accomplishments without being seen as only a financial resource, some women (and men) want to be appreciated for their sexual appeal without b…

So…men almost universally denigrate “gold diggers” and women who want to “use them for their resources” without caring who they are as a person and at the same time emphasize “getting their money up”, driving (or at least taking their picture) in fancy cars / boats / motorcycles…they describe wealth as a part of their “SMV” but don’t want their partners, much less strangers on the street to feel entitled to their money… Are you seeing where this is going?

The men who complain about the “male loneliness epidemic” overwhelmingly don’t have IRL friends, social connections, platonic relationships. That is borne out be the actual data on the phenomenon. Those men are the ones ignoring all of the data and isolating their struggles to being a matter of sexlessness. So yes, they are lonely. BUT no woman can solve that for them and women shouldn’t be blamed for their isolation or pressured to solve it.

It’s not that they’re not “good enough” it’s that they’re not currently compatible with what many women want in a long term partner. That might not have mattered as much in the past because women generally had to settle and the standard for a “good” husband was basically “do no harm”. Now that women can choose, the standard has changed and men don’t like that women don’t have to cater to them in order to survive anymore and more and more women aren’t interested in men who want to be catered to. …

Nobody is saying that. I’m very sure that the VAST majority of boys and men would be horrified by the thought of being a rapist, but when the word rape isn’t used and it’s phrased with softer more ambiguous language, those numbers can change a lot. The fact is that teenage boys / young men aren’t really taught a lot about enthusiastic consent and can be a bad combination of very sexually aggressive, manipulative in service to their libido and emotionally immature.

To avoid assumptions, can you please explain, specifically, how that compassion would look, who it would come from, what behaviors would adequately demonstrate that compassion, and what you hope it would accomplish in concrete ways. So give us a few examples of these laws…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 10:21 PM

So you don’t believe that women should have the same legal rights and educational and professional opportunities as men? Ok, which rights and opportunities, very specifically, do you think should be restricted or denied based on gender and why? Go ahead, tell us with your whole chest.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 09:42 PM

Feminism is about equal opportunity and treatment legally, educationally, professionally, societally. That doesn’t mean that men and women are or should be identical. It means that biological differences do not and should not create legal, educational, professional and societal disparities. That’s it. It’s not about ordering food or discussing sex or choosing curtains or some evo-psych “truth”.

That’s not what that comment says at all. She is saying that different women find different guys attractive which is absolutely true. Yes, physical attraction matters and looks are a big part of that BUT looks aren’t the only thing that matters. That doesn’t mean that an awesome personality makes a physically unattractive person suddenly attractive, but it does mean that an awful personality can make a physically attractive person completely unattractive.

So, you’re angry that the women you’re attracted to aren’t physically attracted to obesity? Is that really a fair thing to be angry about? Are you physically attracted to women completely separately from their physical appearance? Would you be an enthusiastic sexual/ romantic partner to someone regardless of their appearance, simply because of all of their other wonderful traits? Congratulations on the hard work that you’re doing and I sincerely hope that you feel healthier and happier and don’t…

Women choosing not to date undesirable men =/= “blaming” men. Women not feeling that unwanted sexual attention from undesirable men is a positive thing =/= “blaming” men. This whole mindset is indicative of an inherent entitlement to women’s attention and bodies. /r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 01:30 AM
8

The idea that women are equal humans entitled to equal treatment and opportunity under the law instead is a “luxury belief” and it’s formal implementation is a fundamental disadvantage to undesirable men because they can no longer subjugate women and force them to serve as personal bang maids. So they can choose to drop out and leech off of their parents 🤷‍♀️. Their choices are still not a negative outcome of feminism that is worthy of consideration or mitigation.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 01:10 AM
10

So…you DO think that undesirable men financially coercing women into granting sexual access against their will and desire because of laws created by men that disadvantaged women’s financial independence is the “state of nature” and deviation from that state is “unnatural” and therefore wrong?🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 12:52 AM
10

Undesirable men having sexual access in the past (pre feminism) to women who would not freely choose them if they’d actually had the choice (as can be seen now that they DO have the choice) was an unjust privilege. Losing that privilege is not a “negative outcome” worthy of consideration.

Would you consider the loss of “free labor” to be a material “negative outcome” worthy of consideration of the emancipation? How about the reduced social tolerance for beating gay men to death? Is that “a negative outcome” worthy of consideration for those who feel compelled to commit homophobic murder without consequence? Again, the loss …

It really feels like you want to say that the negatives are marital rape being illegalized, women being able to divorce because they’re unhappy, women not being financially dependent on and thus subservient to men, women having sexual agency and choosing their own lovers which leaves some men out, women having the ability to control our own fertility, in summary - women having the ability to say no to men… Am I close?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:17 PM

There’s a difference between “dislike” and “disinterest”. Dislike is an active state and implies that the person “disliking” someone or something imputes a distinctly negative quality to that person or thing. Most women who choose not to date short men don’t actively “dislike” them or their height or impute any definitively negative qualities to them, they just aren’t interested (disinterest) in those men sexually and romantically. Dislike / UN-attracted is an active, definitively negative state…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 10:42 PM

You’ve “disallowed” mention of the negative effects…they ALL involve men’s failure to adapt, anger at their reduced supremacy, their inability to see women as equal human beings, their behaviors based on these deficiencies that hurts women etc. I get that you don’t want to face that truth and are looking for something else, but in order to have an “actual discussion” you can’t automatically rule out the most material discussion points…

The right “won” (temporarily) because they offered up a veritable buffet of convenient “others” that young men can band together and blame for all of their problems (real and perceived). They insured that those “others” could be easily visually identified and targeted and offered unverifiable “proof” that they could solve everything by diminishing or eliminating those “others”. They threw bread and held circuses and created an identity for struggling angry young (and old) men to feel vindicated,…

You’re the one that said that incel uprising caused the collapse but that “they didn’t call them incels”… If you’re talking about socioeconomically disenfranchised men, why would you say that and what does that have to do with my response to the OP which was about the parentage and number of babies, not socioeconomics?

So your assertion is that Rome and Sparta were overthrown because there were too many men who weren’t having as much sex as they wanted to? Really? If we were to accept your basic premise (we don’t btw), the conclusion would not be that we should date and procreate with the undesirable men who are currently excluded. It would be far more logical for us to have as many babies as possible with the tallest, strongest, most successful men we can find. Those currently excluded men could be subjugated and forced to serve as laborers and support staff in service to the successful raising of those “super kids” who are going to ensure our “liberal” …

Again…it’s not that women “don’t like men”. We generally do like some men, we most likely love or have loved “some men”. That has nothing to do with having the freedom to decide whether adding a man as a full time part of our lives is a net positive or not. It has nothing to do with being able to decide whether or not motherhood is something that we actually want for ourselves. It has nothing to do with being able to separate our own goals, priorities, and desires from the paths that we were his…

Why are women responsible for nurturing the dating aspirations of men we aren’t attracted to or interested in? If you consider that to be an obligation that women should shoulder, how would that work? Should there be a voucher system? Every woman is required to go on X number of dates with men who register for special accommodations? Is this system just for straight autistic men or are gay nt men obligated as well? Do we, as women, need to have a punch card for dating all different disabilities …

That’s because GenX knew that life wasn’t fair and that whining about it wouldn’t accomplish anything and nobody was going to pat us on the head or wring their hands about our feelings. You seem to believe that women are a resource that should be equally and fairly distributed to men…and that women are obligated to ensure that they are personally taking their share “for the team”. Access to women’s personal lives and bodies is NOT the same as access to public buildings and being denied access to individual women is not an injustice. We don’t need to provide “special accommodations” to grant anyone access to ourselves and our bodies in order to avoid hypocrisy.

I’m letting her know that aging isn’t anything to be scared of. Actually it’s pretty awesome regardless of whether you “build some…

If a woman has intentionally sex with a man who clearly says that he’s not interested in a relationship and then she complains that he doesn’t want a relationship, that’s silly too. A woman complaining that men she’s not interested in are saying that they aren’t interested in relationships with other women, (who are agreeing to have sex with those men, knowing that they don’t want relationships), is also silly.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 02:10 PM

Their 2 choices are to work harder or to walk away. That’s it. You can’t make someone want something that they don’t want. It doesn’t do any good to complain that they don’t want something so… See where that’s going? Either work harder and deal with it (likely to lead to misery and resentment because what you really want is for them to magically want exactly what you want) or walk away and either find someone who wants what you want or just be single and take care of yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 02:03 PM

That applies to everyone. Not just women. If men are working super hard to date women who don’t want to date them, they should choose other women who do want to date them (or just stay single). If women are working super hard to keep a house clean with a man who’s a slob, they should leave and choose other men who aren’t slobs (or just stay single). Here’s the thing, you totally ignored what I said. Women can’t prevent men from cummung inside them. Men swear they will wear a condom and then stealth. Men will put on condoms incorrectly. Women can try to prevent sperm from impregnating them through hormonal birth control. None of those things are guaranteed because men are the only ones who can actually control whether or not they deposit their sperm inside the woman. It’s really not that big of an ask is it? Nobody is saying “don’t have sex”…

Some women actually believe that they shouldn’t blame all men for the bad acts of a few. And then, because they give all men the benefit of the doubt, they end up failing to understand that many (most?) men will lie or deceive about their intentions in order to get laid. With experience, most women learn that lesson and develop the skill set and cynicism necessary to protect themselves. /r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 01:30 AM

Do you know how to prevent that? It’s 100% effective. Don’t deposit your sperm inside a woman’s vagina. BOOM! Groundbreaking right? Amazingly it’s true! Men 100% control reproduction. Without sperm there is no fetus, ever. If a man chooses to deposit his sperm inside a woman’s vagina he has made the decision to risk fatherhood. Again, 100% under his control. Women can try to reduce the impact of that sperm with birth control but it’s never 100% effective. Not depositing sperm IS 100% effective. Overturning Roe made American women far less sympathetic towards men and far less likely to take chances. Perhaps you’ve noticed that the birth rate has …

An unattractive man with money can attract women who are willing to pretend in order to get a paycheck. Being “innately unlovable” and “not being broadly sexually attractive to women” are two entirely different things that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Men who conflate them should seek mental health treatment whether that conflation is a positive or negative thing for them.

Then those men are either home schooled teenagers without access to the outside world or willfully obtuse adults with a victim complex. Kindness isn’t a deal maker absent physical attraction for the vast majority of people (men and women) but unkindness / unpleasantness can and is a deal breaker even with physical attraction (for the vast minority of women and emotionally healthy men).

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/25 01:26 PM

Committed relationships / serial monogamy are fine when young, but “locking down” implies marriage which is what I would argue against for the vast majority of young people.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/25 12:10 PM

You are discounting the value of exploring different kinds of partners (relationship compatibility, not just sexual exploitation), relationship structures, lifestyles (country, city, professional track, family track, etc etc etc). Learning how to establish personal boundaries and priorities, learning what qualities are actually important in a partner, learning how to be a good partner yourself. All of those are components that can take time and experience to develop and are rarely fully develope…

Do you not understand that just because someone may not be unattractive, it doesn’t mean that they are sexually attractive or romantically compatible with everyone that they get along with? I’ve known more than a few men who are definitely physically attractive by just about any standard and are great guys but I haven’t been attracted to them that way. You could just as easily assume that the women are more concerned with what they can do for their families by winning than what they need in the moment to feel better and are actually more likely to love and cherish their families and sacrifice for them. I think it’s far more likely that the men, while they may miss their families, see it as a “honorable” way to tap out instead of just admitting that it’s really hard and they don’t think they’re going to win.

Passport sisters leave the country for anonymity, not opportunity. Women could stay at home to have sex with attractive people who don’t care about them, no need to travel. That’s available at the swipe of an app. Women could stay home to marry someone who is using her for her labor and resources. They are a dime a dozen. Meh, I’ve asked a partner to do things for me that I was perfectly capable of doing myself (open jars, fix things, carry things etc.) far more easily and conveniently, because it made him feel good. Well I can make this very simple for you. If a woman goes completely silent and doesn’t reciprocate when you “try to get her in the mood”, stop. She doesn’t want to have sex with you. At all. I’m a little surprised that needs to be explained… If her clear disinterest doesn’t effectively communicate that “no” to you, you can always use your words to ask directly whether she wants to have sex with you. If she doesn’t say yes enthusiastically, then she doesn’t and it’s a “no”.

That would be stupid. Of course in the history of the world it has probably happened 🙄. I am very confident that that’s an extreme minority though and the vast majority of situations occur when the woman doesn’t want to have sex and the man does. Here’s why this “withholding” narrative is so widespread with men: Men (some/most?) will want to have sex if it’s available. They aren’t less interested because they’re angry with the woman. They aren’t less interested because they the woman is angry with them. They don’t even have to be physically attracted to the woman or like them. Atheism is the lack of belief in the existence of god/gods. Nope. You are confused and actually have it backwards. Spontaneous desire is entirely about the person experiencing it. Nobody else need be present. No external stimulus is required . The person that desire gets pointed towards is secondary and just an outlet for that urge. It is entirely dehumanizing and completely self involved. Responsive desire occurs “in response” to external stimuli (aka the specific person who is desired). It is specifically humanizing and not solely about the self.

Do you understand what binary means? Either we are or are not attracted enough to consider moving forward. A “not” can never move up. A “are” can VERY easily become a “not” with additional information and contact. A “are” may advance to a full blown “YES” if further information and contact are positive and no red flags are raised. But again, a “not”, whether initially or through demotion, is a “not” forever. Women already give chances to the men who pass the original “are” / “are not” threshold.

All available data says exactly the opposite. More than half of female homicide victims are killed by a current or former male intimate partner. One in three U.S. women experience physical violence, sexual violence, and/or stalking by a current or former intimate partner over the course of their lifetimes. Intimate partner violenc…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 01:07 AM

And how, specifically, do you define “misandrist behaviors”? Also, who, exactly, are we meant to be expressing gratitude towards? Men in general? How about those men who resent our independence? And what about the men who reject women’s rights and equality, whether vocally or behaviorally? Also, are you seriously saying that women should be performatively grateful for not being legally treated as second class citizens in some parts of the world?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 12:48 AM

Why would anyone object to equality unless they are trying to recoup supremacy?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/25 11:37 PM

Sounds like you’re saying that women aren’t appropriately grateful and appreciative towards men in general for reducing the ways in which women are legally subjugated in some parts of the world. How is it that women expected to express our “gratitude” exactly and towards whom?🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/25 11:27 PM

So stop complaining when women avoid men en masse (who per your example are analogous to gang members who will harm anyone who passes by). Stop expecting women to treat those animals as human beings deserving of respect and consideration. If a man can be “provoked” by some women’s verbal dislike, into abuse, rape and murder, lack of provocation wouldn’t have stopped him. If men’s violence towards women is that close to the surface, they shouldn’t be allowed to walk among us. They definitely shou…

I don’t know why you guys refuse to understand that if we aren’t approaching you it’s 100% because we are not at all interested in interacting with you. I don’t think that “manliness” is a thing. I have no idea what behaviors you are assigning to the forbidden “manliness” category. Men are “allowed” to be whatever kind of men they want to be as long as that “manliness” doesn’t inflict itself on other people against their will. Should non-athletically blessed men be bitter and resentful towards professional athletes? Should we all blame everyone else, specifically and generally, for not putting aside their own interests and pandering to ours instead even if it’s to their own detriment? So who, specifically, are these women who deserve your bitterness and resentment because they choose …

Many (most?) women brought up in religious households and communities are taught that sex is a duty that they perform for their husbands pleasure and to create children. Their pleasure never comes into the conversation and their unconditional consent is assumed to be a part of their marriage vows. So you’re argument is that they are happier because they a) don’t know what they’re missing out on, b) don’t know that they have a choice (or should), c) aren’t expecting to be sexually fulfilled?

“He actually loves you”?🙄 Pretty sure “actual love” isn’t what motivates men to hit on women… Also choosing not to engage with a stranger who approaches you isn’t a “horrible humiliation ritual”. Choosing to shut that person down hard when they don’t take a soft refusal is also not a “horrible humiliation ritual”. Women have been verbally abused, assaulted, raped, disfigured, stalked, killed by creepy men who hit on them, so I’d say it ranges from uncomfortable and awkward to deadly.

But bad pizza is still pizza, you can buy gas station pizza and still kinda enjoy it. Bad oysters will make you very sick, could kill you, need to be sourced VERY carefully and absolutely cannot come from a gas station 🤣.

I’m not sure how many ways there are to say this but here we go…attempt #987,657,024… Men don’t have to ask women out, pay for that first cup of coffee, propose marriage, lead etc. They choose to do so because they want something that they think will benefit them. If you don’t want to initiate, don’t. If you don’t want to pay for a cup of coffee, don’t. If you don’t want to propose, don’t. Most make almost nothing. The average OnlyFans creator earns about $180 per month. However, this is a very low average and many creators earn significantly more, with the top 10% making 73% of the platform’s earnings. Because “dealing with the demand side” and trying to “understand and sympathize with lonely sexually frustrated men” seems to require women to allow men we don’t want, aren’t attracted to, don’t like, and don’t want to have any romantic or sexual interaction with, to have unlimited sexual access to our bodies and lives. And no, we’re not willing to do that, nor should we even be asked to, much less expected to.

Worse how? If they want a relationship there are a ton of single men. If they don’t want a relationship and/or don’t want those men, they are increasingly able to support themselves comfortably, have children by themselves if they choose to do so, and generally live their best lives lives they want to live 🤷‍♀️

You are missing the part where “nice guy” as a pejorative is used for men who are performatively “nice” in an effort to create a covert contract for sex / dating and become obnoxious, bitter, abusive asshats when it doesn’t work. The police officer thing is 100% about VERY high cheating and domestic violence rates, non standard work schedules, mental/emotional issues, and higher risk factors for injury or death, not blue collar status or income. Police income can be substantial, decent benefits and full pension after 20 years. That would be a positive for a long term relationship if not for the other very real risks.

That’s the point. Women were not happier when birth rates were higher, divorce rates were lower, marriage rates were higher etc. the OP was trying to say that women were happier when they were forced by necessity to be married and are more depressed now…we are saying the same thing 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 09:16 PM

Some people will submit to other people. Others won’t. Saying “any woman is willing to be submissive to a man who’s capable of leading” is just plain wrong. Reasonable responsible adults don’t need to be “submissive” to, or led by, other adults. 🤦‍♀️

SSRIs were not regularly prescribed until the late 80s, to anyone. The first one was Prozac which was FDA approved in 1987. Is it really shocking that meds were prescribed more after they were available than before they were available? Seriously? The prescription rate for depression of MAOIs (the precursor to SSRIs) which had more severe side effects decreased significantly once SSRIs became widely available. That, in combination with off label prescription patterns, is probably something you sh…

The “sisterhood” and root feminism are about women having choices. Choosing a more “traditional” relationship dynamic is a perfect example of feminism working as originally intended. Just as choosing a more egalitarian relationship or a female dominated relationship or no relationship at all. The “sisterhood” is about supporting other women’s right to choose what works best for them. Certainly there are loud, judgmental, critical voices everywhere, regardless of the issue at hand, but again the …

So let’s say you get married and a week later you find out that your “virgin” bride wasn’t even close to being a virgin, had an abortion or two, was cheating on you while you were dating and engaged, lied about loving you and was just desperate to get married. Still love her unconditionally?

Every functional adult restrains themselves from indulging every desire or urge that they have, particularly when those desires or urges require the participation of, or impact, others. That’s not unfair suppression, it’s participation in a civilized society. People who fail to regulate their urges and exercise self control end up incarcerated, dead, addicted to substances, obese, alone and shunned, unemployed etc etc etc. Men are not unusually burdened by not being able to satisfy every winkie …

They are big mad that they aren’t having effortless nsa wild monkey sex with “baddies”.
