2	Going your own way in work I work in human resources, so I'll try to present my case for a career which is heavily skewed towards women. HR is a fucking minefield in the sense that the gender ratios are completely skewed. For the rest of the organization, the male / female ratio is ~ 9/1, while in my function it is the complete opposite. But even in this swamp, the technical roles are still mostly held by males.
