As someone who has done both extremes as well, I can agree. My problem was after a certain point of no-fap I was just completely uninterested in chasing/approaching women completely. I would be so hyper focused on my work, school, and goals that I didn't have the mental capacity to give a shit because I had no time. Which is a gift and a curse, because I don't know if it's normal, or the women around me just don't tick my boxes. Which would lead me to jerk off just to see what it means to actual…

Lol I fell for the 5x5 meme, definitely more guys compliment my physique than the ladies 💀 I will say though, I've been dialing in my diet and lifting for the last two years, and probably the only consistent thing in my life. It does affect the way you're perceived, your interactions with people and general confidence knowing you built your body through blood, sweat and tears. Finally cutting down after a dirty bulk, and shit diet. Still not beach ready, but gained and lost enough that I get com…

Your sole purpose shouldn't be focused on women in the first place is what he's saying. If you're going out to the mall to find some new pants, and while you're out you spot a woman you'd like to approach then sure. Purpose first, women second. Doing so, you don't need to be conscious about coming off thirsty because you're purpose wasn't to approach chicks in the first place.

You gotta stop focusing on the short term, and focus on the long term investment. That means yes, you will have to sacrifice pleasures in the short term, but it will be worth it. Would you rather be a wage slave living day to day now? Or sacrifice for the future and earn yourself a 70-200k+ job in your thirties?

Elliot Hulse had a recent video explaining this very scenario, and you hit home. Paraphrasing here but, "Some people transition from events without getting to hung up in the emotion of it all. They just effortless transform, and let things go, other folks get caught up in the "thing" and get all emotional, and fucked up as a result"

in the meantime embrace the loneliness? Yes. Remember, you are you own longest LTR. Treat yourself like you'd treat someone else you care about deeply. You'd be surprised how many people are terrified at the thought of being alone with their own thoughts. If you can master yourself, you can accomplish anything. In the meantime as others here have replied, just focus on the improvement, and not the end goal. I've started to realize myself what these folks said here is true, focus on being social …

But in order to get laid you need self confidence. You're probably putting too much emphasis on the end goal: Sex. Just enjoy the process, apply the red pill, fail, and try again. If you're not failing you're not trying.

Remember, you're always in control of your emotions. The world is gonna throw you shit, but as man on his path to self mastery, you must overcome your short comings, and emotions. Become like a rock in the midst of crashing waves. Bad things will happen, but don't dwell on them. Best of luck.

By choosing what fucks to give a fuck about, lifting heavy shit, and spending time pursuing "hobbies". Stop giving a fuck about things outside your control If you're really working out, you'll be too drained to give a shit, and only give a shit about things that matter. Valuable hobbies that provide adequate progression, this is frame work for goal setting, similar to why we advocate to lift/exercise. Eliminate time wasters, or stop wasting time. (Video games, porn, etc). Replace with more suita…

Yes, I used to be a victim, until I took responsibility. What does that look like? Cutting out porn, video games, and social media. Replaced with actual hobbies, and goals to consistently challenge my programing, and shortcomings. (learning an instrument, becoming more social, gym, fishing etc) Own up to your flaws, and set them straight. Stop being a victim, you're always in control, or at least attempt to be in the pursuit of self-mastery.

If you have no fundamental understanding of trading you're just going to lose money. I'm not saying you can't, but if you have no idea what you're doing, you'll just lose money. Put in money you're not afraid to lose. A majority of these people who you see already have a lower cost basis then you. Don't FOMO into trends.

This. What people don't understand is the narrative being pushed that retail traders have some of trump card in this cage match. News flash, players like Blackrock, Fidelity, and Vanguard are calling the shots. People are playing entirely into the narrative of a pump and dump. The players cashed in their initial ticket when the first gamma squeeze happened on Monday. We know another squeeze is bound to happen based on the fact that 500 million worth of shares expired in the money on the options …

Hopping on this train, but how exactly would I approach older chicks who're shooting out IOI's? I'm not about to linger around for them while I'm done with my workout. I usually just dip ASAP, but mid mid session I'll make it apparent to crack a cheeky smile.

To prevent your workouts from being a chore, you keep your routines interesting/switch up every so often. Or just suck it up, and milk the program as long as possible. After a certain point, workouts are more about pleasure/lifestyle, and the mental/physical benefits. When I first started out, I went to the gym in the early morning (4am) until I had enough confidence. I still go early in the morning however, as its the best time, since no one is there.

What's your go to openers? How did you state your intentions without becoming too direct? I find that evidently it's about leading them on, and getting them to actually meet, and escalate from in person. Although the process seems too time consuming, so I'm assuming I'm missing something no?

Pretty much this. You can join BJJ competitions as a white belt, but I'd wait until you develop your "game", unless you've had wrestling/grappling experience. Stay focused on your goal, and don't be discouraged if the leaning curve isn't in your favor. Take the time to learn the technicallity of the martial art, and definitely ask questions about techniques from upper belts/members.

Wasted time trying to play "Captain save a hoe". If you insist, just get her to do more physical activities with you, she should get the message. Something simple, "let's go for a walk".

In my experience, if you were unattractive to her before, she will still you see as unattractive. Unless, you've done a complete 180 in terms of appearance, attitude, etc, even then, it's still hard mode, and a waste of your time. That time could be spent on other women, which you can then impose your current "frame"/identity.

You have to acknowledge however, the recent up-tick in toxic masculinity, and how it's nearly impossible for a male to simply be as he is in the 21st century, without some form of repercussion. If this wasn't the case, there wouldn't be the need for this sub, and the various forums like so-suave, and other manosphere focused discussions.

Toxic shame is a bitch. Crazy to think what years of subconscious programming does to one's mind eh? Since the introduction of "Feminism", men's biological needs have been shamed, put down, and repressed. All the while, women were given a "pass" all under the guise of "equality, and freedom". I understand that it's "Red-pill" ideology which makes us aware of the conditioning, however this post is an example which solidifies the claim. It seems so arbitrary that we as men must re-learn these aspe…

When working out try to start off the reps with your non-dominant hand which you're trying to balance out. I'm right hand dominant, but I consciously make the effort to begin with my left on isolations.

Focus on one aspect of improvement at a time, "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step". As you are aware, spreading yourself thin has ill adverse effects. That feeling of not being "ok", is your subconscious telling you that changes need to be made. People tend to go through life with that feeling of inadequacy, yet fail to react, due to fear of taking the first step without knowing the outcome.

And I think you're in a delusion of grandeur. You still have to be the top 1% in order to go professional, that time could be used for more profitable avenues/improvement. And again to reiterate, the only reason women orbit "professional gamers", are the same concepts being applied to all 1% of athletes: Money, status, fame. Except, athletes actually have something physical to show, and not arbitrary pixels. This seems more like a cope to shy away from pure self improvement.
