Almost every single post that has made it to my front page has been about women’s number count and how they have no value. Nearly the exact same post, just worded slightly differently.

This is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen, it just comes across as bitter and immature. In no world should a grown adult not be able to handle rejection or a bad date and ask to be paid for their time. I do disagree that it will become a trend, I am sure some extreme people will do it as a petty statement to feel righteous but overall I doubt this has legs. You asked for a woman’s perspective if I was asked to put a deposit on a date… I would wonder what makes him think he is so specia…

34F I am very happily in a relationship now so I guess one is the technical answer. Throughout my life I didn’t seem to have much trouble. I know my own personal reality though. I am good looking, I am kind and social, I am approachable and not rude. That in turn has led to many guys asking me for my number or asking me out. I always felt like I had an option if I wanted one.

I think that’s a statement that swings both ways. We all have things we think we need or boxes that we expect to have checked but often we meet someone that we just connect with and they aren’t going to meet our exact criteria and we still like them. I know I don’t check all of my boyfriends boxes and he doesn’t check all of mine but we still love each other and instantly hit it off. A lot of that stuff is kind of superficial in the end though, no one is perfect or going to be the ideal partner …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
