About to have an anniversary! I was worried he forgot and had to talk myself out of being the "cool, understanding girl" if that happened. Turns out he didn't forget at all and has had a present for me ready for awhile :) Overall it's been a little hard but every time I bring up a concern (not enough quality time or date specific time because we're by default around each other 24/7, for example) he takes immediate steps to change the thing that's bothering me and follows through.

Your response was great! When I was online dating, I always suggested the area I live in (it's pretty central) and the men all came to me. It was wonderful, instead of the date being my whole evening because it takes time to deal with public transport or traffic/parking, I could meet for a coffee or drink, get a feel for if we are compatible, and be on my merry way!

Yes, pair bonding is a thing. In prairie voles. Look, obviously sex is a shared experience that can bring two people closer.
