I mean I'm down with the misogyny I just wish we'd be honest about it. Half the content in this sub is just "lol bad thing happened to girl". Thats weak sauce.

Bro this sub is just for misogyny. It doesn't matter what the context is it's all about "lol fuck bitches" here.

Nah he gave her free advertising by making her a front page post that happens to feature the full link to her page! Whoops!

Reddit is not the place for intellectual discourse. It is an advertising and porn platform that is occasionally useful for finding information on niche topics but is infinitely more useful as a propaganda machine. The fact that you dumb faggots come here for news and philosophy is part of the reason our political sphere is a complete shitshow.

We take people who are considered brain dead off life support every day. You are literally retarded and should be next on the list.

I said comment chain retard, this is a different comment chain in the same thread. Also car wash employee Lol. That's a good one. I got a buddy who's a luthier, you wanna tell him he's just a guitar tech?

That was a really long response for what basically boiled down to "Durr it's the free market". You could have saved tons of time by just typing "it's the Invisible Hand!". And since I already knew one of you idiots would show up I encourage you to answer the follow-up question I posed. Is this the kind of world you want to live in? Big tip:verbosity is not equal to merit. Making your point succinctly and coherently is more important then rambling and is more likely to make your appoint effective…

My favorite part is the complete lack of defense. 14 people got butthurt enough to downvote but not a single one had any actual retort :( I was hoping for a good argument on this one. Like honestly, I would very much love someone to seriously try to justify why a TELEVISION JUDGE makes over 188 times the amount our highest level judges presiding over our most important cases do. I have a feeling I'll be waiting a while for that one.

LOL, you're so fucking dumb you don't even understand how to read the post history you're snooping. I'm not even a programmer, which you would have realized if you had any reading comprehension. This is why I'm mean on this site, because the people who always argue the hardest are always the most fucking retarded.

LOL, yeah, those people are all living so comfortably that 500 fucking dollars is enough for them to humiliate themselves on TV in order to get their Petty civil case paid for by somebody else. Also, while you're snooping around my posting history looking for bulshit reasons to discredit what I say, you might want to check the other six accounts I have. They're all pretty varied.

Try reading the whole comment: who have so little disposable income that embarrassing themselves on national TV so the studio will pay their judgement is a viable option.

Reminder that Judge Judy makes over 47 million dollars a year playing pretend on civil cases that have already been decided even though a Surpeme Court Chief Justice who rules on tons of very difficult cases makes less than 250,000. Also, the people she "roasts" are usually low-income working-class people who have so little disposable income that embarrassing themselves on national TV so the studio will pay their judgement is a viable option. We really shouldn't be cheering for this kind of bull…

I guess I should have been more clear that when I say official I mean words that are widely recognized, found in a printed dictionary, can be used in Scrabble, etc. Not necessarily in the literal sense.
/r/MensRights12/07/17 01:43 PM

Just because there's not a government body that decides what words are official or not does not mean that there is not a distinction between common words and things like jargon or slang that are not necessarily recognized as words. This whole theory that any combination of sounds is a word is pants on head retarded. There's a reason we have the term "gibberish".

I understand that language is constantly evolving that is not at all what is being argued here. You are literally saying that any combination of sounds I can make with my mouth is an official and recognized word and that is not true. I'm not saying it's not a word at all but there's a reason we have terms like slang or jargon or other words that describe terms that aren't really recognized as official English words but that do have some sort of definition because they aren't just gibberish.

.... do you have even a remote understanding of how Google results work? Literally all it is doing is parsing the definition from THE FIRST LINK ON THE PAGE which happens to be THE OXFORD DICTIONARY, which is a more than reputable source for word definitions. That's how it works every time. It looks through your search terms and if it can be easily answered by the first link, such as when you're asking for a definition or somebody's age, it simply scrapes that information and puts it at the top …
/r/MensRights12/07/17 12:19 PM

Thats......not true at all. There definitely is a distinction between slang and officially recognized English words.
/r/MensRights12/07/17 11:08 AM

It's just scraping the definition from the top result which is the Oxford dictionary site. So put in a complain there.

A print copy won't say these words at all because they are not officially recognized English words. The online version is waaaayyyyyy more lax.

Actually she night have still gotten off easy. She should have gotten a reckless driving charge which is very serious but she likely got a standard speeding ticket. A lot of cops will round down your speed so you don't get reckless driving because it's like 6 points on your license and can mean suspension.
