No, I do not want this to be a game. I want to know what the reaction to said game would be.

How can this possibly be true, and still have people think there is only sexism towards women?

Thank you. This is what I try to do, but some days it just gets to me and I have to blow off steam. Guess that's why I created this thread.

Well although they may have some dumb viewpoints, I do love my family and would never wish any harm on them.

My dad is strange about this. He most of the time doesn't let me voice my opinion, but does agree my sister is going overboard when she says that you can't be racist to white people. Luckily I have a therapist for other reasons. I'll try talking to him next time I see him. Thank you for all your listening though. Seriously.

Yup. My sister butted in by saying "white boy tears." So I shouldn't feel sad because of my race and gender?

My mom is a casual misandrist too. I'm a teenager, so a couple years back I was visiting sweden and made some friends. I asked my mom to hang out with them and she said yes, but if I needed anything find a women. I fought her on that for a long time. She also cares much more about my sisters safety, even though I'm three times as likely to be mugged or assaulted.

"The draft doesn't currently exist. Sure there's selective service, but that doesn't matter because you aren't being forced to fight." Almost her direct quote, don't quite remember but it was along that line. Also my mom was president of her NOW club so she forbids anti feminist viewpoints in the house.

Alright thanks! I think I'll try it later tonight.

Thanks, that's great advice. I actually tried all these tactics a while back though. She told me the mens issues weren't important, because it wasn't as serious. She started out rational but it isn't getting so much worse. She now thinks you can't be racist towards white people. I'm going to try telling her it's an extension of feminism though, that's great advice. She views it as super right wing I think. One problem though is that she just outright denies a lot of what I says. If I say male te…

Oh wow I seriously thought you were referencing Y: the last man, half the men vanish of the planet because of a disease that kills everything with a Y chromosome besides one guy. It's really cool seeing how society functions. Israel for instance is super powerful.

Ridiculously hypocritical. You can't push all blame off feminism by saying you all have diffent opinions and then pretend MRAs have the exact same opinions. Please don't pick and chose which opinions you chose either. You only showed me the crazy white power men rights activists. Obviously, they are the outliers.
/r/MensRights01/06/13 05:19 PM

It's because of people like SJW who immediately shoot whatever the movement says down. Feminism is such a circlejerk it is extremely difficult to oppose it. Any hivemind will immediately shoot down most ideas, and considering how the movement has made so much progress in the past few years, it is getting very taboo to even mention men's rights. Obviously we can't immediately starting rallying and doing real life protests before we get a little acceptance.

First off, don't downvote me just because we are arguing, try and be civil. Second, what exactly makes the MRAs dumb? Please give me some points.

It would work from shock value, but I fail to see how that would be different from this cake. There is a difference between respecting their sexiness, and only viewing them for their sexiness. It's not that you like naked women, I like naked women too, but the idea of having a naked figurine of a women shows little respect for them. It's one of the most important moments of both of your lives and you are just viewing it as sex. Despite what you may think, objectification of women does exist, this is a prime example. And just because we have different viewpoints does immediately mean I'm a troll. If this was what srs actually said, then I would agree with them, but they are far more ex…

Definition of racist: a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others. If I said that all black people I knew stole cars while only pretty much all black people stole cars, I sound like I dislike black people and think of white people as higher. Also, I have been a loyal MRA for years. I'm just pointing out that what you said sounded sexist.

Yes, pretty much. That doesn't mean I'm generalizing all females though. So is it ok for me to say all blacks steal cars because pretty much all blacks steal cars? And I mean, if I said that it wouldn't mean I'm generalizing all blacks though. I downvoted you because I disagreed with your comment. Umm... isn't that what the whole system is for? I said whenever I argue with a female, implying every female I argue with. That is not a generalization - it's a fact. That's like saying "Everyone in that group wears white" is a generalization, when everyone in the group does wear white. So every single female you have ever argued with ever has always said that? You honestly think that doesn't already happen? Obviously I know that happens, I'm an Egaltarian. When did I say that it didn't. I'm just saying you can't win a generalization war. And…
