No. There are toxic men. But toxic masculinity as a concept does not exist.

They aren't scared of being raped. Not actually, if they were we would see very different behavior from them.

Yes. Without a single doubt. I am not a kid either, I am 23. And it's partly because of men like you.

What is your base point exactly and what seems to be your struggle in understanding (some) men's perspective?

Dear Lord, give me strength This post is exactly about not feeling bothered by it, so trying to be actively like those men.

Oh come on. Where do you get your information from? They are not going to take away women's rights to vote, and abortion rights will just become a matter of the states. Trump has already expressed he is not going to ban abortion for incest, rape and when the life of the mother is threatened at a federal level.

And you know that this is not addressed to the majority of men? Not all men got upset by those women statements.

Did you come here to have an honest discussion? Women are 50% of the population!!! They are not the minority!!!

I know... Did you think this whole time my position was to force myself on the women who have said they don't want contact with men. Do you think that's anybody here's position? I apologize, but it's just a misunderstanding from your part. I know rationally that it's not all women, that's not the point. I know it's hard to understand but try to put yourself in men shoes. Imagine hearing over and over again for years that you are a problem and that you are disgusting and and all amount of horribl…

We are the exact same species and we belong to the same culture. Why do you think there can't be mutual understanding between the genders? Yes, we see it as an attack and honestly, they are attacks. I have never felt entitled to a woman's body and I have never just wanted women to accept what I say they have to do, yet I am judged as if I did. But I realize that feeling offended is just going to keep escalating the issue even further so I at least hope that, even though I have expressed myself b…

I am trying to be really kind right now, because I want my perspective to come across correctly. I know the point is that women are saying no to sex. This is the point of the post. My point all this entire time has been that it's about the way they say it. They direct it to all men as a blanket statement, when not all men have caused actions that harm women or may not feel entitled to women's bodies. If you were a man that doesn't want to harm women and doesn't feel entitled to women's bodies, y…

I understand and your perspective is valid. I should have explained myself better because I can see how someone might not be able to understand my perspective. I have to admit this is emotional reasoning, but it's how many men will perceive it, and not all of them feel entitled to women's bodies. In my head the way it is said is as an angry tone without acknowledging the reasons why men have acted in the way they have (in this case, Trump's becoming elected) and it does feel dismissive and punit…

Okay, let's try to deescalate. I do apologize earlier for saying you have zero self-awareness. My point of view is that women are using a tone similar to the one you are employing. It's not about being upset about women's choices. That's not it at all and I would not wish to be misunderstood. The problem comes from the way they dismiss men and insult men, much in the very way you have done me. I hope you are able to see my perspective too.

Okay. You realize that you are taunting me, right? I mean. I am sorry, but you do realize that the comment you just made is taunting me, right? I never personally attacked you. At least recognize that, before saying I have absolutely zero intelligence and assuming what I meant.

HAHAHAHA. I am fucking done, I shouldn't be engaging with the ragebait but okay, one more time lol Alright, because same as they didn't say "men are going to die alone and unloved" they never said "I am disappointed in the current climate around abortion, sex and reproductive health so I'm going to stop having sex". God, I feel like I am in an alternate reality arguing with you two lol It's because of the way they say it. They are entitled to their own personal opinion about the topic, but the w…

Zero self-awareness. You are entitled to your own opinions.
/r/MensRights08/11/24 06:33 AM

This is completely unbelievable. Okay, let's give it another go. "I am a man and all women have failed us and we are not going to be having sex with women from now on." Imagine this happened. Wouldn't you feel a certain emotional response?
/r/MensRights08/11/24 06:27 AM
2

What is the intention behind when women publicly say that it's our fault and that they are going to start avoiding men altogether because we are evil? Often putting us down as if all men were scum. I would argue that their intention is provoking an emotional reaction on men.

Are you for real right now? -_- I am sorry, but come on. I know they didn't literally say that. Do they teach you kids about analogies at school?
/r/MensRights08/11/24 06:18 AM

Because they are clearly taunting us? What if I told you you would die alone and unloved? Wouldn't it upset you?
/r/MensRights08/11/24 06:08 AM

I'll walk you through it. What the post is saying is to not be upset at the women threatening us to become celibate because of the elections result. It's not saying that we are entitled to sex from those women.
/r/MensRights08/11/24 05:50 AM

What would the problem be if a woman said to not care about men saying men will stop having sex with women? I fail to see the problem
/r/MensRights08/11/24 03:44 AM

It wasn't actually about that. I remember seeing that exact video way before the election. It's just used as an example, but that short wasn't about the election.

Still it's good to be aware of this behavior though. Many men will come here and see this behavior and then they will be able to call it out in real life.

Then what's your point? That it might help blunt the edge a little? I guess, but that's minor imo

The what? That platonic touch can replace other types of touch? It just can't. I mean, you are welcome to test the theory, but in my opinion it's simply a different thing.

Maybe we just disagree? It's not the first time we have heard the same drivel.

I said what I said. The connection with a romantic partner is wayyyy different than that of friends. That desperation doesn't come from having no friends. It comes from no woman wanting to be with you. They are different in nature.
/r/MensRights28/10/24 09:30 PM

Maybe, but it's not the cause of our issues with loneliness. Also, no. It's not the cause of wanting relationship with women.

"Blame themselves" my ass. They blame men and the world.
/r/MensRights27/10/24 02:57 AM

Your opinions are disgusting. Most men are not school shooters and it's disgusting that you defend lumping them together.
/r/MensRights24/10/24 07:44 PM

So? What is your point?
/r/MensRights24/10/24 07:33 PM
39

Oh come on, even when they drug, rob and rape people it's everybody else's fault.
/r/MensRights22/10/24 04:16 PM

It's probably not intentional from your part. But the way you present Kamala Harris feels too perfect, when we know about the flaws her campaign has had when it comes to reaching men until now.
/r/MensRights22/10/24 04:21 AM

Why do I sense a patronizing tone?

Compassion: Deep awareness of the suffering of another accompanied by the wish to relieve it. Empathy means: The ability to identify with or understand another's situation or feelings. I am pedantic and right.
/r/MensRights21/10/24 01:28 AM

That's how society works. We are supposed to take care of each other.
/r/MensRights20/10/24 11:27 PM

I understand what you mean, but I don't agree. Even when we tell them our issues they literally don't care. It's not just a lack of empathy or ignorance. It's a lack of compassion, they simply don't care if we have issues.
/r/MensRights20/10/24 10:09 PM

Very few native English speakers could tell you the difference between empathy and compassion, so you knowing about it puts you ahead a large part of English native speakers already. And your English is really good. It's not just ignorance, in my opinion, that's just an excuse. You can't just use the excuse of ignorance when it comes to women's problems. They force all of us into caring about women's issues.
/r/MensRights20/10/24 09:35 PM

Technically that's compassion. Sorry for being pedantic, but it's important.
/r/MensRights20/10/24 08:40 PM

You are exactly right. What I need, and what men at large need, is agency and actual solutions to the problems I have, not just reframing a shitty thing into being less shitty, which doesn't actually change the objective reality of the shitty thing.
/r/MensRights20/10/24 06:37 PM

No matter how much you change your mind, the sky will still be blue.

Let's entertain the thought. Have they ever wondered that maybe the issue is not with men, but with the way therapy is done for men?
/r/MensRights20/10/24 06:24 PM

I haven't read it all but she just resorted to name calling you an incel too.

There have been like 3 or so incels who have commited acts of violence over a period of 10 years. How many non-incels have commited acts of violence in the same timeframe?
