What pass were they trying to play...?

Right, average man vs average woman. There's women who earn $0, so it pulls down the average. When you do a regression you control for that though, which is why the economist way is better

That's not what the gender wage gap is, just so ya know. The media describes it as the average man minus the average woman, which is a bad way to do it. Economists describe it as man minus woman WITH ALL OTHER VARIABLES HELD CONSTANT, including things like industry or years of experience. So no matter which you're talking about, your anecdote doesn't really matter. The media's version says the gap is roughly 20 cents per dollar, economists have it more at 3 (meaning the gap is very small). Inter…

One anecdote isn't evidence. We don't even know if you turned out ok.

I'm against all religions, because marrying kids off has historically been done in all of them. It's also been done in non-religious circles, but I can't practically be anti-human.

To suggest that fucking a 14 year old is anything short of horrid is disgusting.

Which is rape. Because minors can't give consent.

She's a child, dude. Just because a child knows that intercourse exists and thinks they want it, doesn't mean that actually understand everything that it entails and the repercussions. They can't consent, because the "consent" is uninformed.

Spitting on someone IS, legally, physical assault. Nice try though. Also, he didn't body slam the person who tripped him, he bodyslammed the person who took a swing at his head.

But all statistics indicate that family members are far more likely to be the ones to abuse or kill them, not strangers.

I got auto banned from TwoX the other day. I appealed and was reinstated though.

Because early hominids aren't even the same species as humans. Making claims about 21st century humans based on untestable hypotheses about hominids 20k years ago makes little sense. Comparing human evolution to animal evolution is equally fallacious. Humans have changed our interactions GREATLY over the last 2000 years, even more so as we evolved from lower humans 20k years ago. Interactions between, say, lions is largely the same.

It's not more scientific at all. If anything, it's less scientific because we can't test it. Who knows if humans behave the way we do now because of genes or resource scarcity? Can't really test those in modern society where everyone has way more resources than before.

Technically there's two biological SEXES. Gender really is a social construct. "Male" and "female" have precise scientific definitions based on your genitals, absolutely. But "man" and "woman" are based on culture. When someone says "man up!", they aren't telling you to become a male, they are saying "you aren't acting like what a man in a white western democracy normally acts like," and THAT'S where the problem lies. It's a way to push cultural norms on people (in this case, children) who may n…

Radicalized individuals are usually social outcasts with not much to lose, no matter which religion we're dicussing. Islam has more verses that are easy to take literally and seem to promote violence, Islam is also a younger religion that may have not matured as much as others (think Crusades style Christianity). Take some Muslims from a hell-hole country like Syria, show them a verse that seems to suggest Non-Muslims are the source of their problems and they deserve to die, and it isn't too har…

The 9 born all across America, none. The 1 from Syria, yes. And if you look at polling data, you'll see that Muslims from Western countries hold much less extreme views than their counterparts from predominantly muslim countries, which as I mentioned before is likely due to wealth and education.

Exposure/birth in western civilization increases the likelihood that you'll be educated and wealthy, which makes you less likely to blow yourself up and lose all that.

You can't put your hands on people if they don't ask for it. He's with the press, he's allowed to film, she's giving everyone a hard time and then decides to come push him. Illegal? Check. Was already being a cunt to the cops and gave them a valid reason to arrest her? Check. Goes to jail? Check. Seems alright by me.

I've read it's like 5%, but when there are 1 billion, that's 1,000,000,000 Muslims, 5% is fucking insane. That's 50,000,000 extremists ready to ruin the western world. Even if 95% are safe, nice muslims, I can't ignore the fact that 50,000,000 people want me dead.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
