It's normal. Someone on family always had success with girls. Recently I asked him how many girls he had to talk to in order to have sex with one girl. His percentage was 10%. If you want water, you go to a supermarket, buy a bottle and drink it. You don't go around the city entering clothing stores. You have to know what you want and execute the actions that will get the outcome you want, like a soldier. That makes no sense. It's like a guy living in a isolated peaceful village wanting to get a girlfriend but not wanting to move because the "intention is to get a girlfriend". That makes no sense.

Then I agree with you. You are right. Career and living your best is not enough. The Bumble subreddit is full of posts from Indians who are working at Google and still get no matches. One really got my attention because the guy was really interesting hobbies wise (salsa dancing and other cool things) but it's not enough. If you're average, you need to put in the effort and talk to tons of girls, you have to learn how to be interesting, how and when to be sexual and many other things

Your friends are correct. If someone is really good looking (think Henry Cavill, Alexander Dreymon, etc), they don't have to approach or do anything because girls will come and start a conversation with them. If you have really good status and money (think Cristiano Ronaldo) the same happens. Any of the ones I mentioned approaching a women would be weird and it would bring their own value down. Because women can handle themselves. Men have this idea that women are fragile or afraid of sex but they are wrong. She is not afraid of sex, that's just stupid to assume. In fact a woman always has someone who she is kind of sleeping with, dating. Waiting for a women to be 100% comfortable and single is to wait a long long time. It seems OP can handle less sexual tension and less pressure that a woman, and that's such a turn off for women.

One thing I've learned is that when you want a relationship more than a woman, they perceive you as needy and it repels them like crazy. IMO always limit spending once/twice per week with her, until she asks to see you more often. Also ler her bring up the relationship talk first. I've lost girls over being needy and doing the mistake you mentioned above. We live and we learn, next time you know ;)

Yeah it can work. But be realistic. Like 1 in 75 approaches will probably sleep with you. Approaching is easy. The hard part is dating and knowing which girls you should invest on.
