It's alright to pay for a meal, cinema tickets or something like that just don't go buying her flowers or gifts, you barely know the girl, if she genuinely likes you she'd be happy to see you again even if it's just McDonald's and a walk in the park.

No not embarrassing at all, i'm 33 and never driven, after fuel, mot, tax, insurance, parking and repairs it's a hell of a lot cheaper to use public transport in my city which has bus's running every 10 minutes from 5 am till after midnight, trains, uber and taxi's.

Yeah the UK is a joke, I'm from the UK and witness this shit all the time, there was a case when a young woman stabbed her boyfriend in a drunken argument and the judge let her off because it would affect her future career as a doctor
