Oh no, I definitely disagree with the dude in the post. He is absolutely TA. I just chipped in on the post about valid reasons not to give up your seat. On a good day, or if I’m about to get off anyway, I’d also give my seat because pregnancy is indeed very taxing to the body. I did that because some people seemed to become asshole the other way around (always give up your seat) which is also not okay because you don’t know why someone doesn’t give up the seat. You’re already going to get a lot of shit over this, but I watched it again and ignored the first slap. I see - girl looming aggressively over boy - not see girl slap - see boy slap to get out of situation and walking away (no continuation of violence) - see girl run up and repeatedly punch into boy - boy tackles girl, once again gets out of situation. Even if you ignore the first slap, the picture painted is in the boy’s favour.
